I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I walked in with an order for about 12 different entrees and sushi rolls, each with specific requests--some needed no sauce, others had dietary restrictions, and so on. The menu was so enticing that I ended up ordering quite a bit for a group of people, but I was taking my time deciding. Despite the lunch rush, the cashier was incredibly patient, courteous, accommodating, and helpful. She took the time to understand my preferences and flavor profile, which I really appreciated. To my pleasant surprise, I received my food in under 20 minutes, even with such a large order during a busy time. The cashier was so sweet and even apologized for the slight delay, though I was perfectly fine with it. When I got home, I couldn't help but admire how amazing the food looked--I ended up taking photos of every dish before diving in. Even though it was a to-go order, each item looked beautifully plated as if it were meant to be enjoyed in the restaurant. And let me tell you, the taste did not disappoint! The rice was perfectly cooked, the sauces were a delightful blend of sweet and savory, and every dish was expertly garnished. As soon as I opened the containers, the aroma filled the room--it was heavenly. Plus, everything was packed properly, and they even provided napkins and cutlery, which is often overlooked by other restaurants. While the food was incredible, what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. I believe other restaurants could learn a thing or two from them. All of the bowls come in two sizes, regular and large. They are served with white rice and Yogis signature sauce, unless otherwise stated. Additional add-ons are only available with Teriyaki Entree purchase. Some can be used as substitutions. For example brown rice can be substituted for white rice and only 99 cent additional charge! The add-ons menu is large and does not exceed a charge of $3!! If you are a visual type of person, meaning if you have to like what you see before you try it then the sushi rolls are a great option for you. The colors on the plate are a wide range. They come in two sizes, half (4pc) or full (8pc). The prices are amazing with some starting at $3.50! There are 19 different kinds to choose from. Stir fried noodles are also on the menu. They are pan fried noodles with your choice of meat, vegetables and side of rice. Butter garlic noodles and Tempura are also on the menu. Normally I'm not the one to ever right a review but due to my experience here I found I had no other choice but to share my experience so others can see why they SHOULD visit this especially first I want to say how when I first walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff with a warm welcome it wasn't a "hi I'll be right with you" it was more of a "Heyyy how may I assist you I hope your day is going well" throughout my time here I was shown nothing but respect as if I was wanted and not just another customer so despite if I ate or not I will come back just for the staff anyyywayyyy to the food it was amazing I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl which seemed to have been a favorite by most so I've heard and trust me when I say I see why they where VERY generous with the amount of food I was given especially for the price I paid and trust I can eat hehe not only that but my food was great it was fast service but fresh service my rice wasn't old tasting and my chicken was hot and well done and full of flavor Idk I can't speak for everyone but I will speak for most when I say you should at the least try this place Once from this review and I can guarantee the staff and food will bring you back for more read more

Yogis is a terrific modern Japanese Grill with a combination of classic East-Asian favorites as well as interesting signature dishes. They have a delicious Chicken Katsu Teriyaki Bowl which has a crispy, panko-breaded chicken breast served atop of white rice and Yogis' signature sauce. Or, as a hometown boy, my favorite is the Arizona Bowl, which comes with delicious crabmeat, cucumber, and avocado also served on top of white rice with a signature sauce. Of course there are also the sushi rolls; including a classic California roll done in Yogis special style. Two of my favorites are the Dragon Roll; which is a California roll except this is served with freshwater eel and avocado on top; and the Firecracker Roll; which has spicy crabmeat, cream cheese & jalapeno on the inside and is deep-fried before serving. Yogis also has an excellent variety of noodles; including Yakisoba, Butter-Garlic Noodles and Udon; all served with your choice of veggie, chicken, beef, chicken & beef combo, or shrimp; or even naked if you prefer. While there are plenty of restaurants in the downtown area, Yogis grill is always top choice. Other than the cleanliness and friendly staff of this place the food is top notch. I have a friend who was not a fan of sushi but after introducing her to Yogis she never looked back. We always get the Vegas roll and California roll but if you're a fan of spicy foods like me you can't go wrong with the crazy tuna roll it says it in the name it is crazy delicious! You also can't go wrong with the firecracker roll its literally an explosion of great flavors. For those who absolutely can't do sushi they also have other wonderful options like the chicken teriyaki bowl, (also another one of my personal favorites), gyoza, udon noodles, or can't go wrong with a freshly made salad, the options are endless. The food is the best part but it's also a nice little hang out spot with a nice patio seating area or you can dine inside, either way you'll have a great experience. I came to this place with my daughter because a friend of mine recommended it. Let me tell you, I was not at all disapointed! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and my sences were assulted by the smell of the mouthwatering food being cooked. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl as well as the California rolls and my daughter ordered the soy beans which she loves with just a little bit of salt on them. We shared everything since there was a LOT! The chicken and beef teriyaki bowl was a big portion and the meat was cooked to perfection. There was just the right amount of savory sauce and the meat was so tender and juicy. The California rolls were a lot bigger then I had expected which was a very delightful surprise. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and inexpensive for the portions they give you. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back! Being originally from Seattle, I can say i have some pretty high standards for asian cuisine, especially when it comes to Japanese food. But i can say that Yogi's grill has got some of the best in Arizona. Their chicken teriyaki had a perfect smoky/grilled flavor which melded perfectly with their teriyaki sauce. The sauce wasn't just some run of the mill sugary soy sauce, but had the perfect meld of tangy, sweet and salty, the added green onion adding a delicious bit of a kick to it. My brother got the rainbow roll and said it had the perfect soft and chewy texture, loving the salmon and avocado blend on top. i also got the tofu cutlet bowl, and a lot of people mess up when it comes to tofu but yogi's grill did it just right, the outside having a crunch while the inside remained soft and warm, drizzled in their delicious signature sauce. overall the meal was splendid, loved the service, atmosphere and most importantly, the food. read more

So I've never eaten at Yogi's grill ever and when I started working downtown, I wanted to have lunch somewhere close and convenient. Yogi's is in my building and I thought I should at least give it a shot. I walked in and met with a blonde hair and blue eyes dude named Travis. He was super chill and I asked so many questions about what comes with the combos and what's in it and ingredients blah blah haha he was super helpful and patient with me. We decided I'd try the Arizona bowl.. omg I loved it! It had crab meat with avocado with white rice and some lemon. I was so happy and so I been going ever since. Yogis Grill is one of my personal favorite places to go and grab a bite to eat. The food there is so delicious and I've never encountered a problem there. Their Beef yakisoba is a must to try when going there, as well as their potstickers. The yakisoba is filled with such rich flavors, it has the pan fried noodles with veggies as well as the side of rice and your choice in meat but they do have just a veggie option which is great. No matter what I get always have a side of potstickers that I just can't resist . They have such a variety of great options to choose from which is the reason I'm always going back to try more. This was my first time going here to eat and it was absolutely delicious. I'm usually very picky about my sushi but there was nothing to be judgmental about here. When the sushi got served it's presentation looked amazing and the taste didn't disappoint. The teriyaki chicken bowl was also outstanding. The rice was soft and fresh, the sauce complimented the meat greatly, and the meat itself was moist and the whole thing tied together nicely. The service was something that didn't have any issues either. The server gave us enough attention to make the visit very welcoming and they had a very pleasant smile with every check in they did. Great service and good food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. Don't believe the reviews from the guys at the Trump rally. They were looking for an excuse to be angry. There's more to the story, but they saw what they wanted to see. It was a confusing night with threats of protests and riots. The folks at Yogis did the best they could given the circumstances, which turned out to be better than what most places were able to do. Don't let a couple of guys who were looking for a reason to be angry sway you from eating here. It's a great place. Also, bring your Trump hat, or Hilary, or Bernie, or whatever. I definitely would have to suggest the udon! It comes out really nice and thick and the soup is steaming hot. If this is your first time here and you're looking to get full I'd also recommend getting the chicken yakisoba and substitute the rice for veggies. Every time I order it this way they're always very generous with the colorful veggies. Not only does the food look great, but it tastes amazing too! The teriyaki bowls are super delicious as well. They're always super fresh and healthy and the food comes out quick. The sushi rolls here are fantastic. The avacado and caterpillar rolls always hit the spot. For as long as I've been a customer with yogis grill, I am exceptionally happy with not only the great service provided which is always a plus , but the food is absolutely delicious! Yogis has a great selection of plates as well ,There is a variety of sushi rolls for sushi lovers, ranging from simple California rolls, to rainbow rolls. Yogis also provides plates with both chicken and beef ! Not only do they have sushi as well as chicken and beef but they also have a variety of stir fried noodle plates, I am in awe every time I come to yogis ! We are in Phoenix for a convention and needed to find a place that has good food for vegetarian and others. A group of us walked over from the convention center and checked out the menu. We ordered, tofu, vege-meat with brown rice, and chicken. The server helped us decide and they were so polite and helpful with the menu items. We got our receipt and a page for when our order is ready. The place is well lit and very clean, including the restroom, and the background music varied. The decor is very nice wood top tables and wood wall display. The food was ready in good time. Everyone said the food is delicious. This one is a keeper. read more

I'm always looking for place to eat, close to the light rail. Unfortunately, not too many options. Unless, you are willing to pay restaurant pricea or eating cheap, greasy food that makes the rest of the ride not so pleasant. I usually order the chicken teriyaki, rice and noodles is my favorite! Wow this place has great customer service! The food was yummy and its for something quick while you're in downtown but what really made a good impression was my server Travis. He was friendly checked up on me making sure everything was good and it was. I most impressed when i saw him sitting outside after they closed and it turns out he was waiting for an uber eats delivery guy to come pick up the food. It's crazy how long it takes to get food from uber eats and the like and the fact that he was waiting to make sure somebody got their food reflect very much on the business and him as an employee. My roommates and I decided to get some lunch after picking up a friend from work, we had seen good reviews for yogis grill and we came here to try the teriyaki. I ordered the chicken teriyaki , and I must say it was phenomenal. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce was excellent. Not only that, but the restaurant was also clean and well kept, the staff was attentive and polite. Plus, one of my roommates who is very particular and picky about how they like their chicken was impressed as well. I would totally recommend eating here! I walked in for the first time expecting to taste something new and they manage to please me at it's best! I tried the spicy tuna bowl because I love tuna and a hint of spicy food so why not try something that offers both. I loved the bowl because it had a hint of cucumber and avocado, and lemon not just the spicy tuna. Their customer service was splendid and I love the way they treat their new customers and loved the way they answered my questions when I asked about their side extras on the menu .
