Came back after a year, and was quite pleasantly surprised and happy! Prices still remained VERY competitive, and drink quality was quite good for the price. I think I just caught them at a bad time before when they just opened. I got their Tiramisu latte now a few times, half sweet and extra shot of espresso, and I really love it! I love getting their Ham and Cheese croissant with it (freshly toasted) all under $7 with the drink, a great deal for a solid breakfast. I tried their Ube muffin as well which was very flavorful. It also came free with a greater than ten dollar spend. Not everything is perfect. I'm not the biggest fan of the meat burrito (although still a solid value, and filling) or their Vietnamese coffee, but overall you can't beat their overall quality at this price point. The owner is also very hardworking. You can see his care into finishing each drink and food item nicely and personally hands it to you. Will be back. Happy to support a mom and pop business.

I heard that they serve affordable food and coffees and I didn't wait a second to get there. I ordered tuna melt which was a little on the oily side but for $4.99 it's really good. Cold brew had instant coffee flavor but again for $2.50?!?! You can't complain... I really appreciate the owner for serving food this affordable. Do not forget to tip!!!

"Whhhhaaaaaatttt?" was the word I said out loud (and in my head) when I saw Yi's Cafe's prices. Takes me back to the early 2010s when prices were reasonable, and going out to eat wouldn't burn a hole in your wallet. Beautiful cafe drinks for under $4 and sandwiches under $6. Again, "wwhhhhaaaattt?" It is unheard of and unseen in this day and age. Boy I miss the living in the 2010s as a kid but I'll just come back to Yi's Cafe to be nostalgic then and enjoy their amazing prices and value. My fiancé and I felt like a simpleton that day so we went the basic route ordering a Cold Brew and their Hot Vanilla Latte, with a ham & cheese croissant to share. Came out to less than $15 for 2 drinks and a pastry. Again, unheard of in this day and age. And I should add - just as delicious, and it tastes even better with their prices. They have fresh baked muffins on display, and it was very tempting to look at, too. I can't wait to come back and try more pastries, and their cool drinks (e.g. Tiramisu latte, Dalgona Whipped Coffee, Lychee Rainbow Soda, etc)! There was only one man making all the orders. He is very efficient and friendly, too! He welcomed every customer in and had a very warm hello and goodbye - I appreciated that! A lot of the customers we saw go in and out seem like regulars too and knew the man by name. Loyal customers here! There are a couple of chairs inside and outside to sit. Parking is on the street, but there is plenty on Foothill Blvd or Wigwam Ave (the next mini street to the right). Needless to say, Yi's Cafe will be my fiancé and I's go-to spot for coffee and pastries now! We love to support a great local business that is honest with their prices, that's what everyone is saying here, and we gotta spread the word!

There are not enough words in a Yelp review to say all I want to say about this place, but I'll give it a shot. Yi's Cafe is a spot on the corner of a street that is a bit unassuming, with just two tables and a bit of seating outside. But don't let that fool you, this is one of the best cafe experiences Arcadia, and even SoCal, have to offer! Even though it was my first time, it felt like I'd known Eric for years. His friendliness, down-to-earth style of handling things, and open communication about wait times were highlights of the amazing customer service here. We waited approx. 20 minutes for our food and drinks, and were offered two free pastries along with it. We got a banana chip muffin and a matcha muffin, both phenomenal quick bites that satisfied our cravings and hunger for a bit while we waited for our food. We ended up spending about $23 for two entrees, two drinks, and two muffins. The bang for your buck here is unbeatable. I've never seen anything like it. The two entrees we picked were Yi's Beef Burrito and the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious and hearty, feeling more like a nostalgic meal from back home than lunch out. The drinks are quite literally $4. $4 for a coffee nowadays is like winning the lottery on your first try. No better feeling. Both were amazing, with bold coffee flavors and strong notes of tiramisu and cookie butter. No notes at all. Overall, I think this place does exactly what it needs to. It's a small, corner shop-style cafe with an owner that cares about his customers, remembering "usual" orders and having conversations with them while making their drinks. He's patient, hardworking, and deserves all of the success he gets! I hope Yi's Cafe is around to stay, because I will definitely be back! 10/10.

Inexpensive, no-frills spot to get your caffeine fix and a meal for about $10 or less in 2026!! Wooh! I ordered the chicken panini for $5.99. I tempered my expectations and expected a mediocre sandwich due to the price of $5.99 but was pleasantly surprised to receive a hot, generously-filled sandwich all within 5 minutes! I ate outside at one of their two tables and noticed a handful of people come in to order their drinks. Will try one next time!

July 2026 Food/Pricing - Very reasonably priced drinks and food! The chicken pesto panini is our go to and only $5.99! Service/Ambiance - Small place but does have a few chairs inside. More chairs outside as well. The staff is always super nice! Parking - Street parking.

For this economy nowadays, you seriously can't beat these prices. Affordable sandwiches that don't cost almost $15/20 and drinks that are under $10 is hard to find. I got a chicken pesto panini and black lemon tea for $8/9. AND it was filling and good. Will be back to try more stuff. Hopefully they bring back their full menu of foods soon.

This is a teeny tiny joint in Sierra Madre. They sell a few muffins, which is what I came for, and some sandwiches, along with coffee and teas. I got there literally as they were closing up and was worried everything would be gone. Surprisingly they had most of the muffins, and when I asked if they were in fact out of the blueberry muffins, the owner told me there were more in back (probably just made). Thank you! I got some blueberry muffins, cinnamon bun muffins, a banana chocolate chip, a couple of matcha, and a couple of Ube muffins. I guess you get 13 for the price of 12 or 12 for the price of 11. It's your choice. I got the extra muffin. The blueberry muffins and cinnamon muffins were fantastic, the ube were very good, and the banana chocolate chip was decent. Matcha is an odd beast - sometimes it is delightful in sweets and desserts and sometimes it is totally unpleasant. I know there are different types of green tea, and I think that's what makes the difference, but I could be making this all up for all I know. What I do know is none of us liked the matcha muffins. Also, they don't use any preservatives, which should make everyone happy. Just keep in mind that within two days the muffins will be stale and hard as cement, so only buy what you can eat in a day. Still, I would totally go back for the blueberry and cinnamon muffins and probably the Ube, too. Their drinks also look interesting. They have an extensive selection of choices. Stop on by and give them a try for the muffins, if for nothing else!

I think I've found my favorite local cafe! Yi's Cafe has amazing coffee and foods for an incredible price. I can't believe they are selling latte's for under $4, when most other places are charging almost double. I ordered the hainan chicken burrito and it was so flavorful and a very decent portion. It includes rice, scallions, cucumber, and Hainan chicken. The staff are super friendly as well, as they offered a free muffin when I came in. Plenty of parking in front of the store. I'm definitely going to become a regular here!

This cute little place has been on my bookmark for a little while now so I was so happy to have tried it today. It's a little shop, but it's ran super efficiently with friendly service. Reading some other Yelp review and seeing some of their TikTok's, I knew I wanted to try their Hainan Chicken Rice, Chicken Pesto Panini, and their Tiramisu Latte. I did order all of those things, and added their chicken tacos and their Iced Dalgona Whipped Coffee. We came closer to their closing time and they gave us some blueberry muffins to try, which was better than some bakery muffins I've had. I have to say... Everything was pretty good, but my favorite would be the Chicken Pesto Panini and Tiramisu Latte. Other cafés, they would probably charge double the price and not taste as good but, Yi's Cafe definitely does it right! The Hainan Chicken Rice was decent for the price but the chicken was a little dry, the rice needed a bit more chicken stock, and I wish the sauce had more ginger in it. Other than that... It was pretty good. With all the food and drinks I got, plus tax and tip included... It only cost around $38. Which is such a steal for the quality of food and drinks that you get. There is so many good things I wanted to try on their menu, especially their breakfast sandwiches. I have to come back and try their Spanish coffee and get another Chicken Pesto Panini and tiramisu latte. So good! Make sure to put them on your bookmark and try to go support this small cafe. Your wallet and stomach will thank you!

A cozy little shop with a lot to offer! The chicken pesto sandwich was freshly made with rich pesto balanced with warm cheese, chicken, and tomato. Soo good. My sister got the salmon sandwich and really enjoyed it. It's crazy that we also ordered two drinks (the tiramisu latte is amazing) and it was only $20! And on top of that 2 free pastries for spending over $10. It's so rare to find kindness, quality, and generosity all in the same place in this economy. Friendly service too! Cute little place right across from the Dollar Tree. The prices can't be beat! And the food was good too. The whipped coffee was my favorite. Will have to go back for that. Interior- There is no interior. Whole place is size of my master bathroom. Outside had one table set up. Food- Blueberry muffin was semi-sweet and was loaded with plump fruit. Excellent. Amazing cafe with shockingly great prices and DELICIOUS drinks. I noticed this place opened up near me, and when I saw the prices I could not believe my eyes. $4 for coffees and other wonderful drinks!! The matcha is so good and I love the tiramisu latte too. I have tried many other cafes and this has got to be my favorite. I always leave a tip when I visit because for prices like these, they deserve tips. The pastries and sandwiches are also so so delicious. My favorite are the muffins and spinach danish. This is my first ever review and i'm not a yelp person so you know that says a lot. I got the iced caramel latte and lychee lemonade. Service was fast, and the drinks are pretty affordable at $3.75 each. The latte was a bit too milky for my taste, and the syrup in both drinks settled at the bottom. I would've preferred if they had been mixed beforehand. The straws were also a bit flimsy, which made it hard to stir. Still, not bad for a little pick-me-up. read more

Hidden Gem!! Cute little family owned cafe on Foothill. Feels really casual. There's a table outside, but it's mostly grab and go. The drinks and food here are excellent. I had the Dalgona Coffee and my wife had the Vietnamese Coffee, both the right balance of sweet and coffee. The prices for each item is even better. You can't get these prices anywhere now a days... 4 dollars for drinks and 5-6 bucks for food menu items. You really can't beat that in a lot of places. The quality of the food is really good too. I found out they make a Korean ramen with house made soup base. That sounds so good for a cheap and satisfying meal. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, because it's not really my thing. But this place is just an absolute gem. Not only is it so affordable, but every item there is pure quality. I'm very picky with coffee. A bad coffee will sadly ruin my day. So let's say if I'm craving a good caramel latte, I would used to drive to jones coffee. If I need a sea salt caramel done right, I go to cloverleaf. Now I only need to drive 5 minutes to not only get a good superb caramel latte, but a good vanilla, tiramisu or even a good Vietnamese latte. And what really adds the cherry on top they are absolutely just top notch for friendliness. Highly recommend to every coffee junkie who loves quality and a friendly place to go to! read more

The Yelpers got it right -- this place is fantastic! Parking isn't the best, so be careful getting out of your car. I had the banana bread loaf and it was perfect -- crunchy on the outside, moist and wholesome on the inside. read more

3 spinach danishes, 1 chocolate danish and a vanilla latte--all for $11.25! The danishes are crispy and perfectly light for a morning breakfast and the latte is not bitter at all, but I do recommend getting an extra shot to really boost that coffee flavor. This little hole in the wall was such a good find. Tucked into the part of Arcadia past the 210 freeway, the shop was filled with people by the time we got our order. Our drinks came out within 5 minutes after ordering, the guy who took our order was also making it. Tiramisu latte tasted very much like I was biting into a tiramisu with the cream top being mascarpone and the heavy dusting of cocoa powder. Perfection! Though we would've preferred the Dalgona whipped coffee to be slightly stronger. Just give it a really good mix before you take a sip! We really can't complain when the coffee is $4!! Also got a homemade blueberry muffin, can't beat the price of $1.75 . We'd go here again to try other drinks and other pastries, maybe their sandwiches as well. The parking isn't hard to find either, it was a Sunday and the lot in the back had a couple spots open. There's also parking on the street nearby. Amazing find overall! read more

This might be the most bang for your buck place in the SGV. $4 coffees, $5 sandwiches. The quality is good. My only complaint is the ham and cheese croissant. There was only one piece of ham so you couldn't really taste the ham, just the croissant. I know it's only $2.50, but I'd rather pay $4 for more ham and cheese slices. My favorite is the hainan chicken. The flavors are lovely, the rice is cooked perfectly and it's only $10. The place is small, but there are some outdoor bar tables. The service was quick and the two guys working were really kind. read more

The most amazing service, food is extremely reasonably priced as well as the drinks. I really enjoy the chai latte as it is not too sweet, and it has a lot of flavor. I also really enjoy the chicken pesto Panini and I think that three dollars for a sandwich is way beyond reasonable. I can no longer go back to Starbucks after having this place. Found this place on my way back from a hike today and WOW! This place is a gem! The prices were unbelievable and everything was delicious! Had a dirty chai latte, blueberry muffin and chicken pesto panini and everything was fresh and yummy! Wish I had pictures but everything was inhaled fairly quickly. I am sorry to say the Hainan Chicken rice is not something I will recommend at all, even with that amazing price. Especially if you are specifically looking for that, it is really far from what it is. However, the blueberry muffin will be something out of this world. By far the best muffin out there! I wish more people will come and check out their amazing pastries. read more

But when a paying customer calmly gives you feedback about the food, there's a difference between saying, "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it, I'll mention it to the kitchen," and basically dismissing them. For a locally known café with this many reviews, I expected more pride in both the food and the customer service. I'm not comparing Millie's to Denny's or some giant chain. I actually expect more from an independent neighborhood café. Joey: great job. Potatoes and eggs: good. Second bacon: good. Chicken fried chicken: dry and disappointing. Handling of customer feedback: terrible. I came in because of the reputation. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to it.

I've been coming to Yi's Cafe in Arcadia for months now, and I honestly can't believe I can still get a delicious coffee for $3.75. In a world where coffee can easily cost $9-10 (and not even taste that great), this place is such a gem. The quality is amazing!!! smooth, flavorful, and always consistent. My go-to order is a vanilla iced latte with whole milk and cinnamon powder, and the owner already knows it by heart. What I love even more is seeing him greet so many customers the same way & remembering their orders and treating everyone like a regular. It truly feels like a community spot. My husband loves this place too. We live in Whittier, and anytime we're in the area or when I'm at work in Arcadia. I always try to stop by. I'm big on supporting local businesses, especially ones that are this friendly and budget-friendly. They absolutely deserve the tips and the support. I couldn't recommend Yi's Cafe more. This place might be small, but honestly, that's part of its charm. It's perfect for a quick bite or drink on the go; not exactly the spot to kick back and lounge, so just a heads-up to future visitors. Still, I'd happily come back again and again. The cashier and owner are both incredibly warm and welcoming. They're impressively efficient, from the speed and precision with which they whipped up drinks for me and a group of WAVES customers that came in after was seriously impressive. Now, let's talk about the Chicken Pesto Panini easily the highlight of my visit. It was pressed to golden perfection, the cheese was beautifully melted, and the tomato brought a bright, flavorful kick. We came for lunch and ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice, and it was absolutely spectacular. The chicken was cooked perfectly--so tender and juicy--and the rice was fragrant and full of flavor. A solid 10/10 dish. We also tried a couple of their drinks. The Peach Lemon Soda was bubbly and refreshing, and the Dalgona Coffee was a perfect, creamy treat. But the most impressive part? The matcha was so strong and nutty, it tasted like a very high quality matcha powder. You can see the baristas hand whisking every matcha and you can tell they're putting in a lot of care into the drink. The sweetness was good it wasn't too grainy or bitter. The cashier was very welcoming when I went in even though there was a lot of customers. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking out this cafe. I would come back to try their other flavors!

The place is super nice, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, it's a great spot to grab coffee and relax. Loved the nuttiness and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet, and I loved the green jellies. Made it feel like I had a little dessert drink. The owner is very sweet and provides exceptional customer service. They clearly care about their customer's experience from the second you walk through the doors. It's a bright interior with service to match. So happy to see more unique coffee shops pop up in the area! Will 100% be back.
