Very roomy place to get a drink and study, so work, etc. The latte was great, the barista clearly knew what they were doing and were very friendly as well. I liked the vibe and the seating at the Bloomfield location as there were seats near the big open window. I ordered tea and a muffin and both were good. My friend's coffee also did not taste good. As a coffee shop, it really should have good tasting coffee. I've heard the other yinz coffee location's coffee is good, so I am not sure why this one tastes bad. Otherwise this place is nice. There is plenty of seating and outlets so you can hang out with friends or come here to study and get work done. Staff was very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. I stopped by here last Sunday with my wife for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a local coffee place and on this morning we decided to go with this Yinz coffee location on Baum Blvd. the inside of this place is actually quite large with seating for maybe 40-50 people at both hightop and regular tables. At the register they have a number of cloches with their baked goods and then they also had three flavors of fancy pants popcorn for sale at this location. Lastly they had a small area with their merchandise as well as roasted coffee you could buy. For my coffee on this morning I went with one of their seasonal specials, a large oatmilk latte while my wife went with the small ginger snap latte. Mine was espresso, oatmilk, maple and cinnamon while my wife's was vanilla, ginger, brown sugar, espresso and milk. I first tried my wife's and really enjoyed it as it was ginger forward from start to finish with a hint of coffee in there too. After that I was able to try mine and thought it was also good. The prevalent flavor in mine was oat with a hint of cinnamon. It also had an underlying sweetness to it which was nice and I am guessing it was the maple, even if I couldn't pinpoint it as that. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees and thought that the flavors were good. read more

I have been to multiple Yinz locations throughout town (North Side, Bloomfield, Oakland) and I feel the need to discuss this Yinz location on Baum Blvd. Pros: the staff are amazing and demonstrate excellent customer service, although maybe not on the friends-and-neighbors basis you might experience at the Bloomfield location. The glass windows make for a great view and it's a wonderful, clean and polished place to grab a cup of black coffee or a cold brew on a sunny morning. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Cons: the limited hours! There are enough people residentially who live near this location who might want an evening cup of coffee, hot chocolate, warm tea, but unfortunately it shuts its doors at 6 sharp. Word to the wise: Yinz Coffee (across all locations) is very, very strong, to the point the coffee is like psychoactive potable oil. Order smaller sizes and drink in moderation if you react quickly to caffeine. read more

Beautiful cozy coffee shop right next to an Aldi. Very clean and fairly spacious. The menu is not huge but it definitely has a good variety especially in terms of syrups and sauces. There was only one employee that I saw, and she was very friendly and work quickly and proficiently. There was a little wait time between orders but that is perfectly fine with me and it was not long at all. I got the 412 in vanilla and it had a nice strong coffee flavor but not super bitter. My boyfriend also got the 412 but in hazelnut and the coffee flavor was not as strong but definitely had a nutty flavor that was refreshing! The whip cream on top was also delicious and had a lovely texture and smell. They also sell fancy popcorn which was delicious, I tried the pickle inspired popcorn and it tasted fresh and buttery but not very greasy and had a nice dill aftertaste! And for the single bag I got it was quite a lot for me probably as much as a bag of microwave popcorn if not more. read more
