We had a great pick up experience at Yinz Coffee. We ordered a hot green tea and a hot chocolate. Both were great and the employees were happy and helpful. The inside was clean and cutely decorated with Pittsburgh memorabilia

Another Pitt staple. These were all over town and I wanted to compare it to a typical breakfast joint like Dunkin or Starbucks. Honestly, it was quick and delicious breakfast food. Everything tasted fresh. The egg white, cheese and pesto sandwich was soft. There could've been a little more pesto but overall, it was a decent sandwich. I split the danish with my boyfriend and it needed a little more filling. The pastry dough was flaky and had enough icing. Oatmeal Latte hit the spot. It tasted like fall! It warmed me up as it was slightly brisk this morning. The employees were friendly and worked fast. Items are reasonably priced. There's a lot of seating inside to enjoy your meal or work on a laptop. Worth a try if you're in Pittsburgh looking for breakfast.

The coffee pri-ee good. Had the hot coffee before very solid imo. "The 724" now that was an excellent blended drink. Just the right amount of peanut butter and chocolate in the you could taste it and still taste the beanie flavor complimenting it. Gal behind the counter was very nice, helpful and oddly chipper for it being 7AM. Layout of the place is very open, bright, and clean. Perfect for combatting the crowded feel you'd get at some other coffee & bregfast shoppes. 8 outa 8 place is great.

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon and there was no line and only a few people seated inside the cafe. I ordered a 20oz tropical green tea, iced, and a burnt sugar ginger cookie. The tea was unsweetened and super refreshing. The cookie was soft, with a chew, and had visible pieces of ginger. It was amazing. The prices were very fair and the service was very friendly. The space is bright with high ceilings and exposed brick. It would be a nice place to work remotely.

Definitely one of the best iced vanilla lattes I have gotten! Top 10! Normally I feel like I go places and I get watered down coffee, or coffee with barely any flavor. This was smooth and flavorful! I asked for mine a little bit on the sweeter side and they gave me just that! Full of Pittsburgh memorabilia! Kid friendly!

We stopped in Yinz briefly and had a great time! We were on our way out of Pittsburgh from the Taylor Swift concert and needed a little pick-me-up for the drive home. I understand Yinz is a localized chain with a few locations around Pittsburgh. I immediately liked the atmosphere inside, which was buzzing with people sitting and working. I really appreciate a coffee shop that encourages you to sit and stay a while. The staff was also really nice and asked us tons of questions about our visit to Pittsburgh, which was very sweet. This Swiftie enjoyed their menu of Taylor Swift themed drinks. I had the Gold Rush Chai, their special chai latte with banana syrup. It was definitely on the sweeter side but I imagine I could have asked them to make it less sweet. I also stole a bite of my partner's bagel and thought it did the trick in a pinch. We had a nice little stop into Yinz on our way out of Pittsburgh. I can definitely sense why people like it so much!

A nice local coffee spot. Ample seating, latte taste great. No extra charge to sub whole milk. And lots of latte options. Definitely recommend!

I was very excited to see I was a block from this coffee shop and had to try it. The ambiance was very quaint and what you would think a local coffee shop should be. The barista was very pleasant and answered my questions. Since I visited later in the day, I didn't want my usual morning drink (cold brew, although they had it), instead I tried a February featured drink and enjoyed a scone. I will definitely go back to try more.

This is the second time I have stopped in for a cappuccino and was impressed both times. The interior is comfortable. I dislike "plastic" interiors but the interior here is warm and welcoming. I needed a pick me up after a bad day at work and going to after surgery physical therapy. The associate who made my cappuccino was very friendly and made a great cappuccino. As I have said a million times, a friendly associate is important to my overall experience at any establishment. . I wish I had taken a pic of a counter full of delicious looking edibles: cookies, cakes, many etc. The location is great for anyone going to the hospital, clinic or just going to the refurbished park across the street . It is on the corner of North Ave and Federal Street.

I absolutely love this local, dog friendly coffee shop! I stopped in on my walk the other day and my furry friend was not only welcomed, she got a little whipped cream treat as well! I got a strawberry smoothie and it was perfect to carry on my walk with. Their location is so convenient around great walking space and Ohio street so you can check out more shops. The people behind the counter are always warm and welcoming!

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.
