Grateful to find this place walking this morning. Very friendly and quick service. Grabbed my wife an ice coffee which she said was great. Really good location and worth a visit.

I stopped by here this past Sunday with my wife and our twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday morning we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this morning we decided to go to convive coffees north shore location. I honestly didn't even know it was there until recently whenever I ran by it. It's located right near PNC Park on North Shore Drive. The inside isn't too large with seating for 6 or so with two tops and then a couple of coffee bar seats. It was bright inside with their lighting and white countertops and felt cozy and clean. Interestingly there was also a coffee cart in the corner with a grinder and two espresso machines that it looks like they could roll outside on game days. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a 20 oz latte while my wife went with a 16 oz iced coconut mocha latte and then we got a sausage and egg breakfast burrito to share. Total cost before tax and tip was $22 which for Pittsburgh was definitely on the higher side of things. I first tried the burrito and thought that it tasted good. The filling mostly consisted of eggs with some tomatoes and a smattering of sausage and black beans. It was tasty, especially with the hot sauce that they gave, but felt a little small for the price. After that I was able to taste my latte. You could tell that the coffee was freshly roasted from the taste and it was somewhat bitter for the first few sips before my palate settled down and it became good. The whole milk paired well with it and there was a nice ratio of milk to espresso. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. While I thought that everything that we had was on the good side of things, the prices definitely would make me consider.

Stopped in for an iced coffee on a hot Saturday morning. This is a new location and it's bright and fresh! The decor is vibrant and inviting. They have plenty of merch and coffee beans on site, along with some pastry and breakfast options. The staff were super friendly and fast. Only one person appeared to be working and she took orders and made the drinks all within a few minutes. There were a few seating options inside, but none outside.

I was hoping to get a pour over to try some of the beans, but unfortunately, they don't do pour overs here.

I stopped by SoFresh in downtown and this was a full spread--and every bite delivered…read more I ordered the Caesar wrap, the Mediterranean salad, and the warm teriyaki bowl with salmon, and everything tasted fresh, balanced, and filling without feeling heavy. The flavors were clean, vibrant, and well-seasoned--exactly what you want when you're choosing to eat better without sacrificing taste. For drinks, I tried the Sunrise smoothie with added blueberries, plus their berry lemonade, and both were refreshing and perfectly blended. I also grabbed chips and matcha to round out the meal, which made this feel like a complete lunch (or shareable spread). What I really love about SoFresh is that it's a healthy, vegetarian-friendly restaurant that still offers protein options like salmon, making it easy for everyone--whether you're plant-based, pescatarian, or just trying to eat cleaner--to find something satisfying. If you're downtown and want food that's fresh, flavorful, and intentional, SoFresh is definitely worth the stop.

I stepped inside and it was a cute little quaint place. Not big but a few tables, cute decorations and multiple kiosks. You dont place your order traditionally which was different only because if I had questions then id have to wait for someone to come to the front. Not a big deal to me but elderly people might have issues. I ordered 2 smoothies, a chicken, black bean and cheese quesadilla, and a fruit cup. Ready for the total? $33..... insane. The prices are very steep. If you go in for just a smoothie thats a little more acceptable but to pay $5 for a couple strawberries, half a banana, and half an apple is crazy. The smoothies are also not even that great. I got my son the strawberry banana one and it was so bland. I got the sunrise sunset one and it was somewhat flavorful. I did ask my son if he liked the quesadilla. He said it was good so I have to take his word on it. I dont eat gluten so I didnt try it. I will say after waiting about 30 minutes for our stuff, the guy who worked there was very nice and brought it out to us. Im not sure if thats their policy or it was just kindness but I did appreciate it. All in all its a 4/10 for me. Too expensive for too bland of flavor.
