    A recent, delicious strawberry matcha.

I really like this spot. It's a casual, laid-back vibe with a cozy, homey interior and a couple seats outside during warm weather as well. It's dog-friendly if you want to pop in and grab your drink with your pup, and they post mini Polaroids of the dogs that have stopped by on the wall. The drinks are excellent and crafted by talented baristas. You can sometimes get a bit of a line but they move it along quickly. The best motivation to stop by is that I can nearly always find street parking within a block of here on East Carson, convenient and it costs maybe $.40 for the amount of time you need on the Pittsburgh parking app.

Delanie's Coffee did not disappoint. The iced coffee was smooth, well-balanced and not overly sweet, exactly what you want when you're craving something that actually tastes like coffee and not a dessert. The menu had solid options and the space had a good vibe. Service was friendly and quick. Honestly one of the better coffee stops I've made in a while. Will definitely be back.

This place has a great college vibe, creative menu offerings, unique seating (including a loft area), delicious coffee and smoothies and friendly service.

I had to come back here a few times on my trip because it was so good! The Tiramisu drink had me coming back on repeat. It had a perfect ratio of coffee, sweet, and creamy. I also had the coffee cake which they warmed up for me and was a great addition to my tiramisu drink. I really like the ambiance here. I brought my laptop and worked from the cafe for a bit. It was pretty packed with people working as well. The staff was super sweet and made great recommendations. This place is a must try!

One of my favs in the burgh! All the employees are so sweet! They have coffee, smoothies, teas, and food! The tiramisu latte and the matcha latte are my favorites. They do get busy in the weekends and seating goes fast. They are very pet friendly too.

Had the most PHENOMENAL cookie butter iced latte. First time trying and will definitely be back!! I wish there was a little more ice in my drink but still was amazing

I was told to try this place because of the cute atmosphere and it lived up to the expectations. It was nice with a downstairs and upstairs loft area where people were gathering and working. I personally wasn't a fan of my chai but I loved the fact that you could get 8oz cups, especially for kids. I was severely disappointed in the service though. It comes with no kids so you have to do it yourself at the end of the bar. When I put my lid on the Americano, I had to put a sleeve on because it was scolding hot to make it to the car. When I did, the lid popped off and I spilled the entire thing on the counter and all over the ground. I repeatedly kept apologizing to the 3 staff members there and one finally did say "you're good" but no one helped. I couldn't find the napkins or the trash can and had a small child alone with me. It was mortifying and everyone around could see me struggling, I felt like even though they were busy, they could have had some compassion and at least pointed out where the napkins or trash can was in the 15 mins I was there cleaning the counter, underneath all of the additional supplies on the counter, and the floor instead of just watching me and working around me silently. My child was trying to help me find the garbage can, it was just a mess. I felt so bad as is and that just made me feel worse in a very accidental, stressful situation so I won't be returning.

Great SS coffee shop. They also always have local fun treats to try. Their seasonal drinks are also always well thought out. I thoroughly enjoyed my honey oat latte. The upstairs is perfect to study or to meet a group.

I was out and about one morning and decided to grab a drink at Delanie's. I've heard great things about this place so I wanted to check it out. I visited the Southside location around 11:30 AM on a Saturday. Upon arrival, the line was out the door. It was a nice day so I didn't mind waiting outside. Once inside, the space is beautiful. They have upstairs and downstairs seating and the space itself is very open. They have an expansive menu and I'm sure there's something for everyone. I ordered an iced chai latte with oat milk. Even though it was busy, my drink didn't take long to make. I'd like to come back and sit in next time. My iced chai was great as well!

Some friends and I were staying just off Carson St. for the Halloween weekend. After seeing how walkable Delanie's is to our accommodations so we gave it a try. The iced tiramisu latte I had was delicious and reasonably priced, even without the cold foam (dairy allergy). Others in the group I was with also kept talking about how good their drinks and bagels were. We all agreed to walk back the next morning for breakfast. The second day was just as good! In my mind, Delanie's is the ideal cafe - walkable, reasonable, and delicious! There was plenty of seating for those who want to relax for a bit. Next time I'm in the area I will be back!

Lovely coffee shop in South Side! This is a great place to study and get work done while enjoying coffee & breakfast. Their establishment has two floors, with some seats overseeing the rest of the shop. There are many plugs lying around, as well as free wifi. I ordered a lavender iced latte and carrot cake muffin. The carrot cake was tasty, but I couldn't really taste the lavender flavor in my latte at all. Service was friendly, and it took about 10 min to receive my drink on a Sunday morning.

A very inviting atmosphere where you could easily spend hours reading, talking with friends, or working remotely. The barista was very personable and although there was a line, it moved quickly. They have items for sale that I greatly enjoyed browsing while waiting for my drink and sandwich. I ordered the Mexican street corn sandwich and wish I ordered more than one - it was so tasty!

What a cute, unique cafe in the southside. Love love love. The layout is great. Love the seating on the upstairs and the many books library feel. Came here on a cold day and felt warm instantly walking in. I had a tomato soup with ginger tea and my husband had a yogurt parfait. Both were yummy and we enjoyed it. I would definitely be back to patronize the business.

My husband and I ate one lunch here. Indoor and covered outdoor seating was available. The employees promptly greeted and seated us, and I appreciated that they recommended specific menu items to help me choose. After a reasonable wait, the foods were brought to our table. Here are my ratings for what we ordered: Grilled Shrimp - 5 stars - Several large, juicy shrimp were on skewers and had been perfectly cooked. Sides were mixed vegetables and a mix of rice and bulgur. Chicken Shish Kebab - 4 stars - The chunks of chicken were large and juicy and had a mild seasoning. On the side was rice pilav. Turkish Tea - 4.5 stars - This black tea was a good size and was served hot. Packets of sweeteners were available. The total price was $55 plus tax and tip.

Donor Kebab was over cooked. Dry. Chewy. Tzatziki sauce was fine. I ordered two extra mini-cups of tzatziki to help me finish the donor kebab. (Extra $1). Bread was very good. The space is tiny and unassuming, and the restaurant seems to be a family run operation. The interior is much more nicely kept than you might guess based on the outside of the building. The staff were very friendly, and all of our food was well packaged. I strongly suggest taking a look at the "Persian Cuisine" section of the menu; in many cases, that section is more interesting than the Turkish grill. In terms of food, things ranged from excellent to pretty good. The hummus was good and nicely textured, but not exceptional. The kashke ve bademjan was excellent, particularly when paired with the nicely toasted flatbread it arrived with. The Mediterranean salad and Tabouli salad were both nicely done, with a nice level of lemon acidity and some shredded cheese on the side. The veggie kebap was fine, but generally flat in flavor: it really needed some of the sides and some hot sauce to fill things out. The red lentil soup was simple with a subtle spicing but ultimately deeply flavorful. The ash reshteh (noodle soup with beans and spinach) was generally good but would have benefited from toppings that would have probably been provided in a dine-in environment. All told, this was a nice little establishment with some excellent Mediterranean and Persian style cuisine. They seem to churn out some high quality food from what seems like a very small kitchen. I could imagine eating in or ordering takeout, but note that the interior space is fairly small with a limited capacity.

Our fave foodie neighbor recommended this over highly-rated Med Table (still haven't tried that place yet, so our verdict is out!). Overall, our meal was really good (not great). Appetizers: hummus & baba gannouj were tasty. We opted for their "regular" size which has given us plenty of leftovers! (Other options: small & large). Hummus was the fave; I've definitely had more flavorful baba. We opted to toast all the mounds of huge pita that came with the meal, though. We're not fans of cold, "raw" pita with dips. Entrees: I got the Genie's combo plate - a couple of interestingly spiced , though somewhat dry chicken thighs (spice called "mishwi" - seemed almost like a Berbere-type seasoning w/ cinnamon in the profile) on a bed of basmati & a helping of tasty, crunchy pickled turnips & Lebanese salata (like Mediterranean pico de gallo). The standout item on this place - far and away - was the roasted, spiced cauliflower. I would have that ALONE - no chicken. I liked the dish, overall, but it didn't knock my socks off. I would look for solo-cauliflower next time. Hubs got the Shish Tawook rolled pita - he really enjoyed the grilled chicken with pickled turnip and excellent homemade garlic sauce. He said he'd def reorder. Top tip - get that garlic sauce (if u like garlic). It's AMAZING. No dessert for us, though what an impressive list they have! We also ordered the labneh, hummus with chicken and lamb shawarma, and the kafta kebabs (rolled up in some sort of tortilla) which were all fantastic! If we come back (which we will) I would just order the baba ghanoush instead of the rainbow platter, all the other dishes we ordered, and maybe one additional plate.
