Stopped by on a Thursday night. The music and lively atmosphere is what drew me to this location. I was actually on my way to The James Room for a cocktail. The place is very nice and upscale. There was plenty of outdoor seating though due to my lack of a reservation, me and my gurl had to do bar seating. Staff were attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. I had the tagliatelle alla bolognese "di zaghini", which was absolutely delicious. My only complaint would be the temperature of the food when it came out. Wasn't cold but was not as hot as I like my food. That's just my preference. Flavors were great and pasta was cooked to perfection. Can't remember the name of my drink. It was tequila based and was more sour than sweet but was still pretty yummy. Overall an awesome experience. I'll definitely return to try other items. read more

There is without a doubt the Yeppa Buckhead location is one of, if not THE, hottest restaurant in the city. I recently moved from Buckhead to the Beltline and was excited to host two friends at dinner here. I travel often and returning recently from Boston may have given me high standards for Italian food, but I was vastly disappointed in our experience and the food overall. After my third time visiting Yeppa I feel confident in saying, the only thing this restaurant has on the menu that is worth your time is their foccacia. Every other thing I have tried on their menu: pizza, pasta, chicken, all extremely underwhelming. The reality is--you go to Yeppa for the vibe/ambiance, NOT for good Italian food. Came here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. we were seated at a fire pit table which was a unique setting. starting off, service was not great. we could barely hear the waitress over the music, and it seemed like she was distracted with other things.m. this continued throughout the night. several of us had to tell her our orders 3-4 times. we waited for drinks 30+ minutes, and had to remind about things we ordered (when the waitress could be found). our food came out quickly after ordering, however. the ravioli was absolutely divine. would maybe come back just for this dish. my friend and i split this and the lasagna. lasagna was not terrible, but not worth the price, and it was also cold when it was served to us like it had been sitting a while. wouldn't order again. at the end of the night they told us that they would not split checks, which was not advertised or told to us at the beginning of the meal. not a big deal, but still nice to know. on top of that, there was 22% large party (7 people) gratuity!! this was the thing that was insane to me. large party gratuity is understandable at 18%. but 22!!!!! tipping culture is out of control. AND we were forced to pay this despite the horrible service we received. this alone was enough that i likely won't consider returning, especially to this location. read more

I thought the atmosphere was really amazing. It was a bit loud we sat in the back by the bar but it was a very busy Thursday night. Overall I liked the vibe and the drinks were amazing. We did get several pastas. The ravioli was by far the best out of the pesto, linguini with mussels and strozzapreti that we ordered. The gelato was very good. Definitely plan on coming back. Only reason it's 4 out of 5 was because the pesto pasta needed more flavor and the mussels were a bit fishy. read more

Atmosphere is definitely a 5-star for a date night! Food- I'd give a 3-star mid option-Overall, I'm giving this a place a 4-star due to it's concept and vibes and nicely located on the Beltline. I did not enjoy the food we ordered. While I ordered a variety of dishes ranging from the rosemary sea salt focaccia, polpettine, a FOCACCERIA pizza, salad, and side dish- I was not impressed by the tastes and notes of each dish. Meatballs were not juicy or tender having mixed with wagyu beef & pork- fancy potato purée quickly turned into stiff mashed potato, the broccolini was undercooked. It was difficult to cut and eat. I was definitely looking forward to the PROSCIUTTO COTTO E FUNGHI FOCACCERIA, but it was exactly as described-nothing exciting (sliced ham, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese under the ham). The focaccia bread was sprinkled with over powering chopped rosemary like sugar crystals on cookies. While I enjoyed how they opened late night and had options that are great for sharing-I'd skip on the food and focus on the drink menu and getting a seat in open patio section. Maybe I'll give it another try with the pasta dishes, but definitely coming here for YAPS and drinks and opt out of the foods. read more

I expressed it to the waitress that they were a little dry and the manager immediately came to make up for it by taking it off the bill. Although I didn't express that to receive money off, it was greatly appreciated. We also started off with the focaccia bread and you can't go wrong there. Great flavor and cooked the way it's supposed to be. Ordered the bolognese and yes yes yes! A little on the smaller portioned size so don't expect to share it. As long as it comes out hot, you'll be pleased. Great flavor and no complaints. Soooooo we're probably on our 3rd side of whipped potatoes, something is in there that keeps you ordering..... yummy. If you're ordering drinks, you'll be in good hands, don't worry. Overall definitely recommend if you want something that's a bit upscale, nice ambience, great customer service, this is the place to be. Don't think because it's on the belt line prices will be less expensive....its your typical restaurant in this area. Will be back and I do recommend. Wow, pretty bad, we are from nyc. This place would not last 45 days in ny. Perhaps appreciation for good Italian food is different in Atlanta, but we were astonishingly unimpressed. To add insult to injury, the service was pleasant, but shockingly chaotic. Furthermore, the hightop we sat at shared a bench with two other diners who were rocking away and jostling me throughout the meal. It did remind me of what it might be like to eat while riding on a subway car, which was cool. I think if you were laser focused on focaccia and pizza from the menu you might survive a meal there, but otherwise I would look for many other options first. read more

I loved yeppa on the beltline! Got the aperol spritz which was amazing and my boyfriend got the limonata frappe which he loved. The service was great too - i wasn't expecting it to be fancy at all. this place is perfect for a cute date night. good lighting, good volume. we sat on the patio and weren't too hot and thought the vibes were great. you are close to the people next to you but that doesn't bother me. Now the food was amazing! our appetizer was the prosciutto and mozzarella and it was SO GOOD. I still dream about it. the pastas were so great as well; perfect. the portion sizes aren't huge but i really enjoy that because i don't over fill myself! Highly recommend! read more

Writing this to make other diners aware: when you make reservations you want outside. Inside dining is basically the less cute bar area, all hightops with backless stools. Totally fine, but OpenTable didnt really make this clear and I thought I was booking seating in that open air, but covered area. No big deal but they should make it clearer online what you are reserving. Maybe change it to be labeled bar seating? We just got a drink and skipped dinner because Im not about to eat $150 of pasta on a stool. We'll def be back to eat a full meal in the real dining area. Disappointed all around. Our dinner started off well - seated quickly, yummy appetizers, attentive waitstaff. However, it went downhill quickly. Our server brought us very obviously unwashed place settings, spilt water all over the table and didn't clean it up, knocked a knife off the table and it almost hit a member of our party with no apology. After we ordered our appetizers, service was extremely slow. Once we received our food, the spicy pasta did not have red pepper flakes in it (an integral part of the spicy aspect) and the cacio y Pepe did not have pepper in it (it looked like Alfredo) - the sauce had even coagulated by the time it reached our table. Unacceptable for the prices they are charging. They also served our sparkling rose in coupe glasses ??? Beyond the food, the ambiance was very off. The stereo system would blare music every 5 minutes or so, so incredibly loud for like 30 seconds. Additionally, The server begged us to leave a review with his name so he could win $200. Very unprofessional and unconcerned about the poor quality and experience. I will not be returning and would recommend to look elsewhere for Italian. read more

Our experience at Yeppa was made even more memorable thanks to our incredible server, Shonda. From the moment she greeted us, her warmth and charisma stood out. She had a natural way of describing each dish that honestly made me want to try everything on the menu , it was like listening to a flavorful story unfold. You could tell she really knew the menu inside and out, not just in terms of the dishes but the ingredients and the inspiration behind them. She was polite, professional, and made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. Her energy added so much to the atmosphere, and you could see she genuinely loved what she does. Whatever you do don't get tuna appetizer, meatballs and mashed potatoes were microwaved, $18 salad is just a handful microgreens, pasta is undercooked and soggy at the same time. This was our fisrt time at this location...our server, Kareem, was very friendly and helpful, even giving information regarding the background of the restaurant. The seating was fast, drinks-Aperol Spritz and Hugo Spritz were very refreshing. The focaccia bread was amazing; the mussels were good too. So disappointed with the management team here. We made a reservation for 10 for me and my brothers birthday on a Saturday. Knowing we were going to have a few over, we tried to make another reservation for another 10 top which the restaurant declined. Since this location is on the Beltline we decided to go anyways figuring the rest of the group could just hang at the bar or other tables. When we got there they informed us they knew we had more than 10 (obviously we tried to make another reservation) and made it incredibly awkward for our group letting us know that no one could go back and forth between those that were seated and those that weren't even though our table was conveniently located outside of the bulk of tables and towards the back. Totally understand not wanting us to hover around the table but our group was being very respectful and standing at other tables/getting other drinks from the bar as to not confuse our waiter. Our waiter was so friendly and nice and trying to work with us but management wouldn't let go threatening us with a $3500 minimum for over 10 people. That is ridiculous and should have been communicated when we requested the second reservation. Our group was planning to spend all day here and spend $$$ and instead closed out quickly and walked over to another bar where they gladly accommodated our large group and we spent the next 3-4 hours. I'm sure this place is great if you have a small group but larger groups stay clear. They will make you feel like an inconvenience when you're just trying to support a new business. So disappointed and could have absolutely been prevented if they let us plan ahead and allowed us a second reservation. read more

i love the buckhead location but this new one just wasn't it for me. we sat outside and there were ants on the table. the appetizers were honestly incredible (we got the caprese, ahi tuna and yellowtail), so i had high hopes for the mains, but my salami pizza was one of the saltiest things i've ever eaten. my friend also had the same complaint about her margarita and another about her pasta, so may have been something in the sauce? the portions also aren't huge for the price point. plus, we were there for over three hours - everything just took a looooong time. will be sticking with the buckhead location! read more
