We ordered delivery one night and got 2 pizzas and 2 salads. The salads weee pretty plain with not much in them. The pizzas weee pretty good, I really enjoy the veggie pizza with cheese on it. We always got a pepperoni pizza which was good. The delivery took about an hour. The next night after we went out we came here for a slice of pizza after the bars. They are also open late with music on and bar with wine and beer so if you need a night cap you can come here! read more

Casual and tasty thin crust pizza and pasta. We had the carne carne pizza which my husband loved and the penna pasta. Both portions were big and we probably could have split one. Also thought the cheese bread was yummy with good sauce and fresh parsley which is always a refreshing touch. And the view from their balcony is a nice touch over looking the town square area. read more

First of all, there's a guy who reviewed in here named Mike C. with all his special ways of grading pizza. Listen Mike C., don't complicate pizza bro. Take one bite and judge it. No need to bring up some elitist "I grade Michelins with..." stfu. It's pizza. It's cheese sauce and dough. And based on my opinion after living in NYC and Philly, this pizza has cheese that usually doesn't exist west of the Mississippi. They have very good cheese on the pizza. The kind that keeps stringing while you take your bite. Perhaps the dough could be crisper but without the NYC and Philly water in the dough, it's impossible to duplicate east coast dough. But Mike C. wouldn't know that with his Michelin taste buds. Go get this pizza. It's a decent price and there's lots of space and tables. You're in Wyoming. So incredibly good! We loved the upstairs dining- looking down over the square! The pizza was delicious. The sauce incredible! I love the Mediterranean pizza and a Caesar salad. Just keep in mind they are only 12 inch sizes. Food comes out quick even with a crowd. read more

The service was awful. Music was WAY TOO LOUD. DONT RECOMMEND! when I turned the music down just a tiny bit, the guy came over and turned it back up and told me that I can't touch it. It was way above 85 decibels. And other people in there were saying it was way too loud too. He had to turn it down to tell us that we couldn't touch it. Then turned it up super loud and turned it to face right at us. what a jerk. read more

Now RE-incarnated as Yeah, Buddy Pizza, this place still puts out good pies. The Sicilian is robust: square, thick crust mounded with pepperoni, it will satisfy any carnivore. Of course the establishment still pumps out good Napoletana pizza; perhaps not as thin as the original, but good nonetheless. A number of beers on tap as well as a full are are available to slake your thirst. Service is pretty quick, if not totally professional. Downtown Jackson with a hankering for pizza? Really liked the vibe of this place. Service was bomb! Food was good, 4 stars because their basic pepperoni pizza literally sucks and I didn't know you could make such a basic pizza suck so bad. Located in the main Jackson Square area near the famous Antler Arches. A small cozy pizzeria offering freshly made pizzas and pastas. We ordered the burata prosciutto and elk piccante pizzas, a pasta tartufo and Caesar salad. The pizzas snd pasta were good. The salad was good too but portion was a bit small in my opinion. It looked more like an individual side salad and it was priced pretty hefty at $11, I was so unimpressed I forgot to take a picture. Otherwise great place for lunch or dinner. Came twice with my best friend while we visited Jackson. One of the best pizzas we've ever had! The Waluigi is phenomenal for anyone who likes moderate spice. The staff is friendly and helpful. (FYI I was here in the off season, so it wasn't busy). Music and decor were modern and fun. Loved sitting on the balcony and watching people/cars go by. Great stop for lunch or dinner. read more

So happy with our experience. Owner came out and talked with us as well. We had an elk pizza and cheese pizza. We went through Jackson and tried all the cheese pizzas to try and be like the guy from barstool. The Margherita pizza took the cake. The atmosphere with the deck, and great cocktails took the cake. I like this place. Every year coming back to Jackson we stop at least once at Caldera for bite of pizza. The place is located on the second floor with big window facing the Main Street. A lot of day light make you feel warm and welcoming. Today our choice was a "Pera Cipolle" and Arugula salad as "primi" Delicious, thin crust pizza. It was well baked and toppings are in right proportion. This kind of pizza is calling for a good beer and I founded "Janny Lake Lager" a perfect match. After so many years coming back got surprised that the owner started to charge service fee. Bad move which put employees payroll on customers. Watch checks still have line for tips. read more

Had the Bison Lasagna as takeout. Was quick and delicious! Very flavorful. Didn't dine in but I did go pick it up and the inside looked great. Very casual, cool space. A must try pizza spot in Jackson! We had the elk picante pizza (pictured), and stuffed mushrooms for an app which both are a must order! The restaurant has some outdoor seating with views of the town square and the inside of the restaurant is super cute/ has a classic pizza parlor vibe. We went here for an early dinner one night before the rodeo, we loved it so much we came back after the rodeo and got cheese pizza slices (yes they do pizza by the slice too!) for late night snack. This isn't a bad pizza pie but the service was bad or maybe that particular server was having a bad day Came by and ordered 2 pizzas to go and the person behind the register copped an attitude and didn't know the pizza name I was trying to order; by the way please stop with the Italian names for the pizzas, just give them a name that's easy to pronounce. Any way she had a smirk and was unfriendly, rude and then she forgot to put in my appetizer order. So when I came back to pick up the pizza the appetizer wasn't ready, so she tried to blame the printer lol I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes while my pizzas were getting cold. She didn't try to make it right just blamed the printer- sad Updated review: *************************** I didn't know Jackson hole business owners are so thin skinned. I am more than happy to give 5 star reviews for 5 star food and service; unfortunately that wasn't the case when I visited Caldera. Instead of humbly apologizing and making it right, the owner blames the pandemic and "impatient tourists" and the entire state of AZ(I suppose CA, TX, NY and Florida have suffered due to their lack of precaution as well?) Good food, but the music is annoying and too loud--it's like a Disney mix that's cheesy and impossible to ignore. I've never asked a restaurant to turn down the music, but I had to here. They turned it down about 2%. We got out as soon as we could. Later some local teens confirmed it's brutal to try and eat in there--they just get their food to go, so it's not just my lame old ears... read more

The pizza was pretty bad, tasteless and very lacking in the ingredients, very thin toppings. Also ordered the stuff mushrooms and they tasted like frozen TV dinner. The salad was decent. Our waitress was very nice and sweet. No booze are served at the restaurant. The Yelp check-in doesn't work, no beer as they do not have a liquor license. Pepperoni pizza was great and came out quickly. A 12" was the perfect size to split for two people. They also had NA beer on tap which I appreciated and don't always see at places. Had a nice balcony so we were able to eat and watch the busy street below. I'd come back again. read more

Stopped by for a quick 12" pepperoni to go for the kids and while in line to order was greeted courteously by one of the pizza chefs who took the to go order and I was on my way in less than 8 minutes. All the kids loved the food so a big thumbs up! read more

After years of eating at another "food network visited" pizza place I thought I'd try yeah buddy this time through JH. Wow! Why'd I wait so long?!?! I got the carne con carne and it was very tasty. The key to really good pizza is quality ingredients and solid execution. While their competition seems to be resting on their past success and just trying to get by. Yeah Buddy really does fulfill their promise. The pizza really is so good you'll want to say "YEAH BUDDY!"! I now have a pizza place again in JH. It is pricey, but when you taste the pizza....you'll know where that money went. The other great thing is they're not nickel and diming you on stuff like a side of ranch. read more

I grew up in NYC, I know good pasta. The best pasta dish I have ever eaten is in Jackson, WY, at Yeah Buddy. It is called Pasta Tartufo, served with homemade elk or bison sausage (I order the elk exclusively), it is off the charts good. It is so good that I could eat it every night, I am not kidding. Not only is it off the charts good, the portion size is so big you could eat half, be satisfied, and save the other half for later, but you won't. It is so good that you cannot stop eating it. I live in Jackson and as a Yellowstone and Teton NP tour guide I have recommended this dish to hundreds of people. The feedback is always the same...off the charts. Give it a try if you are in town, you will not be disappointed!! read more

When you do pizza right, it takes time. We make it fresh. Every day. We start early to hand kneed the dough; mix our own special Bison, Elk and Pork Sausages; prep the fresh pizza toppings; batch our own house made pasta sauce recipes; and whip up our savory salad dressings. Our cool little upstairs pizza place has been a staple in Jackson since 2011. Originally named Pizzeria Caldera, it has been the go to pizza spot for locals and travelers who know where to find the best pizza in Jackson. Now named Yeah Buddy Pizza, we have a new look and good vibes to match the adventures in this one of a kind place in the world - Jackson Hole Wyoming. When you make it to the top of the stairs, you are greeted with the smell of good pizza. Established in 2011.

Pizzeria Caldera was founded by Chris Hansen, who spent many years studying the art of pizza. Chris and his wife Miga opened Pizzeria Caldera in December 2011. The Hurd family took over ownership in early 2021.

Meet the Manager: Annie Joe Rob H.

My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Just remember to take your hat off at the table.
