Yea Jip BBQ WE in Fort Lee, NJ. What kind of banchan do you like? I love a veggie forward banchan-filled with kimchi and spicy marinated cucumbers! At @yeajip_newjersey the pork and beef are equally delicious and fresh! You can't go wrong with anything marinated and I loved the galbi. The bulgogi was of course delicious as well. I loved this local BYOB Korean BBQ spot! Would def recommend! Follow @thehungrysw for more NJ/NYC suggestions! Yang yum Galbi 양념갈비 ODaegi Gallbi 돼지갈비 Bulgogi 불고기 Pajun 파전 Bin Dae Duk 빈대떡

Really enjoyed the bulgogi gopdol (Korean marinated beef over rice in a hot stone pot) on top of the whole banchan (side dish) service. Important to note that normally there are lunch specials but we came on a holiday so they were not valid. Regardless, I've returned a few times over the years and it's been very consistent and a great bang for your buck if you're in the mood for a wide assortment of Korean food. Parking can be tricky (welcome to Fort Lee) but if you're okay with it, there's tons of metered spots around.

Food (4/5): We got the seafood pancake, bulgogi stone bowl, and kimchi jigae. The seafood pancake was quite good with a decent amount of seafood. The bulgogi was also delicious with it being tender and flavorful. The portion for the bulgogi was awesome and in general from looking around at others' dishes it seemed like the portions were great. Finally the kimchi jigae was also good with a nice soupy warmth and nice kimchi flavors. The food came out extremely hot and sizzling and stayed that way. Super impressive but it does make it difficult to eat the food quickly since it's so hot. The banchan was a bit lackluster though with no fish cake (which is my favorite banchan) and the other banchan not tasting the best. My favorite banchan was oddly enough just a regular lettuce mix. Service (4/5): The server waited in front of us while we waited for our order. She helpfully took our order and was friendly. The water we got tasted a bit odd like it was slightly mixed with tea but the server explained that was the intent. The Korean banchan side dishes took a while to come out, normally we get it after we order. The food came out in around 15 minutes. Ambiance (4/5): Cool Korean bbq set ups with all wooden tables. The seats were spacious and reasonably comfortable. I liked the overall setup of the restaurant. The decorations were relatively sparse but it kept to a nice minimalistic view.

Pajun is a Korean pancake (some even call it a pizza). Yes, from a perspective, it is just batter with eggs, green onions, scallions, soy sauce, and mixed seafood. It is comfort food for games nights and binge watching, but the search for a perfect savory, crispy, golden (outside) and yet tender on the inside Pajun is a lifelong odyssey. It is Labor Day 2024 (weekend). At my home it is time to binge watch and discuss movies (TV Series). This Labor Day we chose the new miniseries, Shogun, based on James Clavell's historical fiction novel on 17th century Japan. Needless to say, Shogun (one of the best miniseries in recent years), end of summer, talk about "Eightfold Fence" and life of Samurais, made us crave for Yakatori. I set out for Main Street, Fort Lee (NJ) to the one spot known for their Yakitori. Sadly, that place (still exists) has stopped doing Yakitori. But I was committed to Main Steet (basically I had found parking). So while the initial intent was Japanese Yakatori, I quickly repurposed the mission to take home Korean Pajun (equally non messy party food). By sheer happenstance, something unplanned enabled me the joy of a perfect Pajun. The crispiest, the savoriest, Pajun I have ever had. I also got some Uguji Tang (Short rib soup with radish and cabbage). Watching Shogun, sipping Uguji Tang, eating Pajun, and debating Eightfold Fence; My Labor Day 2024. Before I forget, the place for awesome Pajun and Uguji Pang is Yeajip (235 Main St Fort Lee, NJ). I found out after I picked up the food that they have their own parking lot.

This restaurant serves up excellent Korean BBQ with a large spread of banchan and their kimchi is particularly delicious. The service was very fast and friendly and it tends to fill up pretty quick during peak lunch and dinner times. Really important to know is that this place is BYOB so bring some soju, beers or wine if you're looking to wash it down with something other than water or tea. There's a small parking lot for customers directly adjacent to the restaurant which is nice because street parking can be hard to come by. There's also a large municipal parking lot down the block in case you run out of parking options.

Very spacious Korean BBQ restaurant in New Jersey. Both service and food were great. I ordered dishes not kbbq, but their dishes are also delicious. Pajun (5/5): scallion/seafood pancake was crispy and delicious Galbi Stone Pot Rice (5/5): beef quality was great and the sauce was very flavorful Bulgogi Stew (4/5): beef quality was great but I would rather get Bulgogi bbq next time Byunguh Jorim (4/5)

I couldn't wait to leave my review. First time ordered a delivery from here. First of all, I want you to know ,customers ,that I did today a traditional Korean pancake with Mung bean and Jaeyuk stone pot rice. I was impressed with the first one, the pancake: it was well packed and had a nice presentation, also. It can be eaten by two people; has an amazing flavor; it gave me a feeling of a really home made food. The second plate was soft and has a mild spicy flavor. I can eat 3 times with it...it was huge. One interesting thing is that came with mushrooms , zucchini, kimchi and more vegetables on the side . That was great! Everything was delicious, fresh... I will recommend this place for sure Thank you guys and God bless you

Food: 4/5 Price: 5/5 Service: 4/5 The lunch specials here really give you a bang for your buck! Huge portions. I got Daegi Galbi (marinated pork rib) with Bibim Naengmyun (spicy cold noodle). Both were good, and there was plenty left over to take back for a second meal. Also, the banchan (side dishes) were great to snack on before our dishes came. Friendly and polite service. Overall, a good experience.

I got to-go so I didn't get their indoor experience but the take-out was amazinggg!!! Im definitely coming again!! My friends and I ordered together but they gave us each our own portion of the side dishes!! I was so excited when I got my own because we weren't eating together and I love the side dishes so I was originally sad to part with them I forgot to take pictures before we devoured it but we got their Kimchi Jjigae, Beef Youkhe and Ox-Tail Soup. My Korean friends said it was so good so definitely good!! next time we'll try their indoor experience

It was dinner time and we thoroughly enjoyed the food here. We ordered 4 servings of marinated beef short rib, stir fried glass noodle with assorted vegetables, and seafood udon among 5 people. Pricing was great! The servers were professional and friendly. We would come back here again.

Hoe deopbap (raw fish over rice and vegetables)

The portion was pretty big with lots of side dish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean settings and very nice service ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

About how many people does one BBQ meat dish feed?

That depends. If you eat with the bowl of rice and side dish, 1 or 2 people but, eating just the meat may be enough for one person per order.

Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.

The food itself is consistently good. The parking lot is very, very small and shared with the cafe next door, so parking can be a squeeze. Because it's so popular, it gets very busy during prime dining hours. They specialize in Korean beef soup. We ordered rice cake and dumplings and special beef rib soup. The fish came with purple rice and various kimchi and pickled veggies side dishes. They also serve korean hot tea along side the dishes. My special beef rib soup was very light and clear but full of beef flavor.
