Gyeran Mari (rolled omelette)

Service - 5/5 Food - 4.5/5 Ambiance - 4.5/5 This is their second location, where Palisades is their first. Both are wonderful places to dine; this one offers just more room between the tables. This restaurant is renowned for its raw seafood, specifically its raw marinated crabs. They are also highly recognized for their soups, and could soups. This location has a parking lot, whereas the Palisade location has street parking. We ordered the following: ~ 굴전 Gul jeon -- Pan-fried battered oysters 4.5/5 stars (better last time at Palisades) ~ 号意 百板鱿鱼 Hot Stone Pot -- Marinated squid with vegetables over rice in a hot stone bowl 5/5 stars ~ 새우장 Raw Soy Marinated Shrimp -- 5/5 stars The oysters in the Gul jeon were so plump and delicious, but we felt the egg batter was a tad overdone. The hot stone pot had generous amount of squid, and the spice was hot but not numbing. The shrimps were the stars of today's dining. To make your life easier, they supply you with plastic gloves and a package of seaweed paper. Put one of the gloves on your less dominant hand and, using your chopstick for the dominant hand, you can now easily peel off their shells. I had mine as a temaki. You would swear it tastes like lobster, but at a much friendlier price point. For those who look forward to banchan, they gave us cucumber salad, bean sprout salad, stir-fried fish cake, and, as a bonus banchan, they gave us Gyeran Mari (rolled omelette). Every dish was nothing short of pure comfort food. I wish them much success, as I marked this as one of my go-to places for authentic Korean cuisine.

If you like Korean raw crabs , this place is a must try: (+) came here on a Sunday noon, got seated right away, no reservation (+) they have parking lot for their customer which makes things easier (+) the waiter was super nice and attentive (+) have a wide variety of Korean food including bbq (+) their raw crabs is a must try, they were so fresh, and they prefer you eat it at the spot vs taking it to go due to liability issues (-) there could be some more noodles in the soup , we asked for more and they were really nice about it

Crabs is my most favorite thing to eat. Wanted to give another go at raw marinated crabs again. I didn't like it the first time. Seeing how popular this dish is in Seoul I thought it be best to try it in Fort Lee. We ordered a small and my only complaint is that I wished the crabs had some roe. The small order does not come with any shells. I wanted to try eating it by putting some rice in it. I enjoyed it more this time and was glad I ordered it spicy. The menu also offers amazing homemade style Korean stews. I would come back just for their Gul Gookbap (oysters, seaweed soup w/radish, chive, mushroom, tofu & egg). Service: 10/10. The gracious owner came by often to give us lots of napkins, refill a couple of our banchans and asked how we were enjoying our meal. I got excited when he gave us a complimentary delicious egg dish. Thank goodness for free parking on the side of the restaurant because finding one in Fort Lee is hella hard. Original location in Palisades Park.

Great food. I came for the ganjang gejang and also ordered the ahjae gookbap (not pictured). The raw marinated crab came in two varieties - a premium Korean version, and a regular version. I got both and enjoyed both.

This is one the best spots for soups, raw marinated crabs, and cold noodles! I am glad they opened another location that has parking. This location is more spacious than their palisades location with more tables, a parking lot, and two bathrooms. You can even bring big groups now, but would recommend reserving ahead for that. My favorites are always the soy marinated crabs, bibimnaengmyun, and the soups! The soy marinated crabs are always full of roe and marinated so well, but not too salty. It pairs perfectly with rice. Their spicy cold noodles are always a treat and perfect for the hot summer days. You can't go wrong with any of their soups - my favorites are the Samgyetang, dakdoritang, and the seolleongtang. This location has more items on the menu! I recommend trying the haemul tteokbokki - it's spicy with a hint of sweetness from the seafood. It's packed with seafood and the rice cakes are nice and bouncy. The haemul pajeon is also amazing - super crispy and loaded with filling. The service is always great which is why I come so often! I would love to gatekeep this place since the food is so good and the prices are super reasonable. I also love buying their kimchi to go - it's more of a fresh kimchi so it's crunchy and spicy!

Fresh, delicious and just the perfect lunch that hits the right spot. I didn't want something too heavy, yet wanted something nourishing and felt like my mom would make it for me. There are no thrills or wows to the decor but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Homey and a great lunch spot.

The marinated crabs had great flavor but the body had limited filling which was the only disappointing part because theres not much to mix with rice. The Suyuk Muchim aka sliced broiled beef with spicy vegetable salad was a hit but portion was small so we ordered two to share. Theres definitely an overwhelming about of kimchi underneath compared to the amount of meat. Their soups are super rich and delicious, and the short rib meat was soft and easy to eat off the bone. One of the better places in bergen county for marinated raw crabs!

The soy sauce and spicy marinated crabs are amazing here!! The portion is great for the price and the service was also excellent. They made sure to check that we had everything we needed during the entire meal. I'd definitely go back!

LA LA Galbi

Can't recommend this place enough. Some of the best authentic Korean food I've had. Service Was wonderful and the place was very welcoming. Great vibes ! Highly recommend their Galbi and their Bulgogi soup.

When you're bored of the usual Korean food such as K-BBQ, tofu soup, noodles, et cetera, then this is where you go to satisfy your Korean palate. Food is excellent, prices are budgetary and an ample parking lot combine to make it a top listing venue for Korean dining.

Trekked from Edison to Fort Lee to try this place! It was my first time having Korean marinated raw crab and ahjae gookbap has converted me to a lover! Prices are really reasonable and everything from the complimentary side dishes, to the mains were delicious. I'll be thinking about the crab for awhile and will be back when I'm in the area!

Found another great Korean spot in NJ and the prices are so reasonable…read more The lunch combo is a great deal. We got the seaweed oyster soup with beef and grilled mackerel. The soup was so fresh and flavorful that I would honestly come back just for it. The mackerel was a big portion, crispy outside and tender inside. The Mul Naengmyeon was such a surprise. It's not the usual sweet and sour style. The noodles were super thin and cold, and the broth had a really unique flavor. I loved it. We also tried the Sundae Platter and Seafood Scallion Pancake. The pancake was a little oily but so good, with big pieces of seafood. Big portions, good prices, and lots of side dishes. We ate really well for under $20 per person. Good for both a quick solo meal or coming with a group.

Decent food, reasonable prices, and good service overall…read more Gamjatang (4/5): Good portion size. The broth was decent but not great; it leans more on the herbal side and isn't as spicy as other places. Oyster, Seaweed & Beef Soup (3/5): Packed with seaweed, but only came with about 5 oysters and very little beef. The broth had a strong, decent seafood flavor. Fried Spanish Squid (3/5): This wasn't on the menu, but I was excited they could make it since I'd seen photos from 7 months ago. However, it was baby squid rather than the body of the squid. It also felt a bit overcooked, lacking that fresh, chewy texture

Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Still tastes great with the rice Bibingnaeng (8/10) - Really solid cold noodles with beef, pear, and cucumbers? Great way to finish off the meal.

We did the AYCE option on a Sunday afternoon. Not terribly busy, so it was very relaxing. The…read more90-min time limit seemed like unnecessary pressure but it's about all we needed anyway. First time for me, and hopefully not the last. Unfortunately, I live in DC but this will definitely be on the list of favorite restaurants to return to. FOOD: Holy Shabu-moly! The fish cake, veggie, noodle, dumpling, sauce selection was too much. Seriously, I mean that literally. Patrons are paralyzed by the paradox of choice. Fewer options would help me focus on the essentials and allow me more time eating than deciding. Lol. Honestly I wish I would have just focused on ordering the meats. SERVICE: We had a young waiter who was very attentive, professional, accommodating, and understanding. Also, an older gentleman who I can only imagine was a manager, stopped by to fill our water glasses and ensure we were happy with everything. FACILITY: Not exactly what I would call spacious, especially if this restaurant was packed, but it was very comfortable, especially since we had a large wheelchair. The bathrooms were immaculate. VERDICT: Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

One that serves vanilla and green tea ice cream and the other that serves vanilla and mango sorbet. And alll of the ice cream and sorbet were SUPER refreshing. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------- + Even on a Monday late morning to early afternoon, there were 4-5 tables occupied, including us. Considering how good the food is here, I can totally see this spot getting very busy on weekends. + As of April 2026, the all you can eat pricing is very reasonable with it ranging from $18.95 - $35.95, depending on the time of day (lunch or dinner), day of the week (weekday or weekend/holiday) and whether you want to include meats and seafood (which I TOTALLY recommend).

There as one older waitresses in particular, whose name I did not catch, but she was exceptional in her service -- to not just our section, but to everyone. She seemed to understand well how to cater to the restaurant patrons, taking into consideration that we were grieving a loss of a family member/friend. The food was excellent. The "banchan" side dishes were fresh and savory with continuous refills. They provided us with appetizer of the two types of "jeon"s - when was seafood and one was kimchi. I ordered the super sized "galbi tang" (갈비탕 - Short Rib Soup). I say "super sized" as it's quite larger in quantity than any I have ever had in any restaurant! . They had already pre-sorted the meat from the bones which usually are included in this particular dish. The amount of meat was incredibly abundant and absolutely savory and soft to chew. The meal was so big that I packed most of it to go and it sealed up almost to the top of a quart container! Other guests tried the "oohguhgi galbi tang" (Short Rib Cabbage Soup - 우거지 갈비탕) and "bibimbap" (Mixed Rice with root vegetables - 비빔밥) which looked delicious and ample in quantity as well. The restaurant is located off-shot from Lemoine Avenue In Fort Lee (soon after you cross Main Street) and turn into their driveway right before Charim Restaurant/Paris Baguette Cafe. Parking is plenty for free and the entrance has stairs and ramps for wheelchair/walkers. The bathroom is to your left as soon as you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Service is prompt and courteous (with exception to one younger waitress who was a bit curt and ignore requests but the older waitress I mentioned prior really saved the day! ). The managers were professional and helpful in directing the guests to the right places. Overall experience in food and service was 4.8/5.0. Q Grill was recently named top 10 KBBQ spots in NJ/NY. Will definitely visit and enjoy their other menu selections!
