Me and my wife went to Yard House for the first time and honestly everything was amazing. The alcoholic drinks were really good, the food came out fresh and tasted amazing, and the service was top tier the whole time we were there. Our waitress was super sweet and even suggested some off the menu items for my wife which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming. Everybody there had a great attitude and made us feel comfortable the whole night. Even the dessert was amazing and honestly one of the best parts of the night. Definitely glad we decided to try this place and we'll for sure be coming back again.

Jaw is dropped, the food and drink this places was phenomenal. I don't mean to over react but I kinda have to. The garlic lobster noodles were actually to die for. My family and I went on a really cold day but tbh it didn't bother us due to how every single food item on the table melted in our mouths. Our waitress was so nice and caring, they seemed very busy that day but she was still always giving us such excellent service. I will come back again 100 more times. For the wings, burger, and noodles!!!

Great happy hour.

I love a great corporate restaurant. Everyone is so well trained from the host staff, servers to the food runners. They have a great happy hour with discounted food and beer. You won't leave hungry. Huge portions.

I always enjoy coming here to dine . We ordered the chicken nachos and Korean chili garlic wings during their happy hour and it was worth it . The nachos dish was huge and the wings were delicious. We got our moneys worth . Drinks were delicious. . Our waitress was nice . She was only a week in and did an amazing job .

First off, our server was great and very attentive to our needs. The food came out in a timely manner. We sat outside, usually I don't want to sit outside, but we had a group of teenagers with us. The firepits helped out a lot. The food was overall good.

Yard House is an New American sports bar restaurant chain well known in the mainland US. I wasn't familiar with this establishment prior to moving to California, but happened to visit twice now. I highly recommend their weekday Happy Hours from 3-6pm, as their appetizers and pizzas are half-off; I ordered 2 items for under $30 with tip which was a steal. Appetizers: Poke Nachos (4/5): A bit of a spicy kick comes with jalapeños, nice blend of ahi tuna, sauce, and Wonton nachos. I feel that authentic corn chips would actually work better, so if Yard House changes their recipe I hope I can try again! Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds (5/5): My first time trying anything like it; imagine cheese sticks with less breading, surrounded by a thin crispy layer. Loved every bite. Entrees: Truffle Cheese Burger (4/5): A heavy, umami rich white cheese type of burger. Sauted mushrooms would have been a good add-on. Three Cheese Pizza (2.5/5): I thought it would have generous portions of cheese but the thin crust pizza was mostly tomato sauce. The server was kind enough to have the kitchen remake with extra cheese so the 2nd one was much better. I liked Yard House, despite not being a sports or a bar-type of person. Highly recommend their Happy Hour, I would come back for that alone.

Anything I've ever ordered here, never fails. The food is always delicious and served in a timely manner. Service is always great and the place is spacious with plenty of seating.

Matt our server was fantastic and he made our experience a whole lot better. The calamari and wings were great appetizers. The lemon garlic wings were delicious. For our mains we had the Nashville hot sandwich and the 3 choice taco meal. The best taco was the fish, it was perfectly fried and flaky. There was an issue with one of birria tacos and Matt spoke to Leanne, the Manager, who made it right by bringing a new one and a carne asada taco as well. Again, the customer service was great! I would definitely come back to have Matt as our server! p.s. they have the patio seating if you have a dog.

The seating was comfortable but I have a food allergy to dairy products and when I asked our server Carolina if the white rice was plain she stated yes that it was only rice. When I took a few bites something seemed off. I stopped eating and again asked our server letting her know it seemed off she stated she had to ask the manager. Turns out the rice was cook with butter. She took it off our tab but I was left feeling yucky the rest of the day. Every one else enjoyed their meal though but I won't be back as it is not suitable for dietary allergies. The disappointing part was I had to ask twice. I would have much rather she had checked the first time if she wasn't sure how something was cooked.

We love coming to Yard House at the Promenade Mall from time to time for their Happy Hour specials that run Monday thru Friday from 3 to 6pm. Most appetizers on their menu and pizzas are half off and everything is tasty. We ordered their poke nachos, chicken lettuce wraps, classic sliders with sweet potato fries, cheese curds, fried calamari, and three cheese pizza. Everything in decent portions for Happy Hour, tasty, freshly made and our server was attentive and quick. Although it gets busy, service is usually on point as is the food. We went about when it turned 3 and were quickly seated also. Even if you don't go during Happy Hour, the food is usually pretty good at Yard House.

I like the selection of beers they have here. I also like the diverse food choices here as well. They serve edamame which is interesting. My boy ordered a pizza which I thought was OK. My mother enjoyed her fish, but again, she loves being out with me so she enjoys most of everything! Lol The inside is pretty roomie and the outdoor has a lot of tables too. The service is great and the food is decent. There wasn't a particular dish that stood out for me but the beers here are pretty good!

I had to leave a review because this is by far the best and my fav Yard house i've been to! The service is the best and food is always top quality amazing prices for what you get. Chill vibes and a nice bar. Lauren was a fabulous server that made sure everything that came out was a 10/10. This location is the bomb.com

I've come to the Yard House a handful of times over the last few years and I'm surprised I have t written a review yet, but tonight's service by Darlene here was rockstar level, so a review is definitely in order. This was a Thursday night, and we didn't realize until we got here that meant the place would be packed for Thursday night football. We put out name in on the wait list thinking it would be an hour, but the host told us 40 mins, and we were seated in 28! So thank you! It was 4 of us, including my little guy, so the staff here so they had the foresight that we were definitely in need of a booth to keep him contained and in close quarters! We were seated with 2 minutes left in happy hour, and Darlene RAN over so we were able to order food (pizza for the kids) and an appetizer at happy hour prices.... REALLY stoked on that. But that is just one example of the amazing service Darlene provided throughout the night. Although EXTREMELY loud withjsoc and the bar atmosphere watching football, it was still good enough that we were able to talk at a normal level. I've been on a weight loss journey, so always watching my macros... I ordered the steak bowl and it was delicious and filling (500 calories And 41 grams of protein!). My wife had the shrimp bowl and the lids had pizza. This was just a great family night out, and would definitely recommend.

Hands down, this is the best restaurant in town!…read more Since moving here, we've really missed San Diego's food scene--but last weekend, my wife and I visited 1909 for the first time, and we found that 1909 rivals many of our favorite places in San Diego. We started with a "Dirty" Vodka Martini for me and a Mac's Mule for her. Then, we ordered the Caesar Brussel Sprouts, the 1909 Burger, the Cilantro Lime Fish Tacos, and a couple more cocktails along the way. Everything was absolutely delicious! What really stood out, though, was the service. The entire staff treated us like we were longtime regulars--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and reminded us of some of our favorite places back in San Diego. If you're looking for great food, excellent drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile, this is the place. We'll definitely be going back!

Would definitely come back to try more of the drinks and menu. The 1909 bloody mary was 10/10. One of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had. Seriously was amazing - spicy, flavorful, everything you want Eggs your way - standard 2 poached eggs, toast bacon and potatoes. Potatoes were super undercooked but the poached egg was perfect. Bacon was also a lil undercooked. Cranberry white cheddar salad was banging I must say. I added shrimp and it was suuuuper good.

The minute you walked in, the ambiance just wasn't it. Perhaps because we were the only minorities there and everyone else wasn't (including the staff) but it was uncomfortable having people stare at us while we were eating and having our own conversations. Someone came to get our drink order and then it took a bit of time for our actual waiter Leila to come take our order. She did mention she was doing something else. we ordered the steak and frites and their pork chop which was the special of the day. I ordered my steak medium rare and the rest of the table ordered it in medium. When the steaks came out, the waiters seem confused as if they weren't sure which plates went where and when asked if that's a medium rare steak, they stated yes. That steak was medium and it was also dry and under seasoned. It was also tough and chewy. The fries were either undercooked or overcooked. Chimichurri sauce had no flavor to it. We did also order the cedar salad which was delicious. Their calamari and wings were as well. At the end of the night, Leila asked our friend how he liked his steak because it didn't seem like he ate anything. He said it was okay and she kept insisting you can be honest and kept pushing the matter. This was extremely uncomfortable because there was no need to make him feel like he was put on the spot. while I understand the need to want feedback, if your guest says it's okay and seem uncomfortable, maybe leave it at that. She then came over to me and asked about my steak and again saying, "you can be honest." Why wouldn't I be? I did tell her the steak was cooked incorrectly, that was not a medium steak and pointed out that it was dry. There was this awkward silence at the table because honestly there wasn't a need to keep pushing. Simply asking how was it would have suffice. They did end up comping my steak which was nice of them however the entire experience just wasn't pleasant. From the ambiance, to the crowd, to the food - wasn't worth it.

We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. Should we really be able to see a plunger and a dirty toilet brush while washing our hands? Service-wise, our waitress was nice, but overall it was slow. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
