I had the jambalaya with pasta, and let me tell you it was incredible! They offer the option of rice or pasta, but as a pasta lover, this was a no-brainer for me. Years ago, I used to love the jambalaya at Elephant Bar, which I thought was the best at the time. Sadly, most (if not all) of their locations have closed. But this? This was even better! Hands down, the best pasta jambalaya I've had at any chain restaurant. I've eaten here multiple times before, and they have never missed. From the hot wings to the pizza, and even the burgers everything has been phenomenal. But what truly sets this place apart is the customer service. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and kindness. Every staff member, from the hosts to the waiters, is courteous and attentive. The Ambiance was great too it's a bit of a sports bar so they had TVs going it wasn't crazy loud pretty acceptable to me. I stopped by for lunch with my co-workers. It's pretty quiet here during lunch time on a weekday. I'm unsure if they had lunch specials in the past but it'd would be nice for customers like me coming in for lunch. Everything is about $22 and up besides appetizers. I'd stop by for dinner but for lunch time, it might be a good idea to do something to bring in customers for lunch. I love their check out machine at each table. It's easy to split the bill. I ordered the Whiskey Burger which was really good and tasty along with Truffle fries. My wife also got a burger which was ordered medium rare but was not and was sent back. Yard House is located at the Pasadena shops behind the Playhouse. There is a parking structure, but otherwise hard to get to by walking. It's on the second floor, located closed to Starbucks. The inside waiting area is not too big. There must have been 3-4 parties ahead of me, and we were all crowded around the hosts trying to stay inside for the AC. It was hot outside! For a party of three, we waited about 15 minutes, like they said we would. The menu was extensive and so hard to make a decision. A big question for me is always - should I try to eat healthy for this meal? Their dishes included smaller portions, which I appreciated very much. I know I can't always finish the entire dish by myself, so having the half option was perfect. I ended up getting the smaller portion of the kale and romaine Cesar salad with chicken (+$5.50). Decided to come here on Sunday to watch some football with my husband and daughter. They weren't that busy and we were seated immediately while walking to our table my husband had asked can we get a table that was close to some tvs that were showing 2 specific games and the server responded that's there's tvs everywhere and just took us to our table. So we weren't in view of one of the games that we wanted to see. Anyways the girl who sat us ended up being our server I'm not sure if she was training or what but wasn't too familiar with the beer menu. She didn't really check on us often. We celebrated after grad here since it's a restaurant that opens late at night. The service is so friendly and the waiter constantly refilled my coke ( I was super thirsty after grad). A few days ago, my significant other and I stopped by for a quick bite before catching a movie. She ordered sliders, and I went with a pizza what should've been a simple, enjoyable pre-show meal quickly turned into a disappointing experience. Her food arrived in a reasonable time, and she finished her entire meal within 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, my pizza was nowhere to be found. I wasn't initially upset I figured I'd ask for it to go and enjoy it warm during the movie. When I flagged down our server, she apologized and said she'd get it boxed up right away. But when she returned just a few minutes later with the pizza in a to go box, I was stunned: the pizza was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. That made it clear my order had been sitting in the kitchen the entire time, completely forgotten. No explanation, no adjustment, just a quick apology and cold food in a box after a long wait. The lack of basic attention and care from the kitchen and service staff made what should have been a casual meal feel like a complete afterthought. For a place in the hospitality industry, this level of oversight and indifference is unacceptable. 0/10. I won't be coming back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their time, their food, or basic respect as a customer. read more

I had average expectations, but the cut was excellent for the price. It was perfectly salted with a great char and rub, and it was an excellent medium rare. Barely any gross fat as well, mostly just the flavorful marbling, so definitely worth the price. Dessert: The lava cake is was the only thing that was just okay. It wasn't super moist, but it was decent for the price. Service: the service was acceptable. Nothing too special, but for how busy it was our server was doing a good job. Ambiance: It's a Yard House. We sat down, and it was an odd experience as there was an employee working right in front of us yet no welcome or signaling to the bartenders to take our order. My friends and I came to celebrate the end of our final and we were seated very promptly by a nice host with a great upbeat attitude. We showed up in our nursing school white scrubs and joked we were part of a religious cult. The host rolled with it. When we arrived to our seat our server Chantelle came to greet us. She's such a warm and hospital person! We ordered some drinks and Chantelle carded our whole party, you can really tell she looks at our actual birthday because she's expecting her baby on the same day as my friend's birthday! Chantelle throughout our whole meal made sure to check in with us, and brought us some more water (without us even having to ask), and checked to see if we'd like to order more food or a second round for our drinks. Honestly never really been a fan of yard houses, they are loud, smells like spilled beer and chairs/booth and table are always a little bit sticky. We went during dinner hours, and just parked on the street since parking isn't free. Waiters are okay depending on who you get, but either way its not memorable. It took a while for my order to be ready. When I received my food, I noticed there was no sauce in my bag. Hate parking at The Paseo. 90 minutes free (with validation) is not enough to enjoy this HH. However, there are lots of chargers for EV's, (including Tesla Superchargers), and the price is reasonable. When my car is done charging, I leave my drink, get my car, leave the secondary parking lot where the chargers are and go back into the main lot, thereby getting another 90 minutes. I like to think of myself as frugal but you may think of me as a cheap bastard. We're both right! read more
