Dined here around 9pm on a Monday night, so it was rather quiet. Had the nicest server; I think his name was Daniel, and he was relatively new. Great guy. He's going to be a nice bartender too--told us he may bartend! But I had to come on just to write whoever was in the kitchen Monday night 10/9/23 and made my spicy beef garlic noodles (boneless short ribs, mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, baby broccoli, gochujang sauce, crispy garlic) OMG one of the most incredible noodle bowls I have ever eaten in my life, but I'll ignore calories. Kudos to the chef. Hubby had one of the ribeye steak dishes that he said was delicious as was ahi tuna sashimi app. Hope to try again next time in Norwalk. PS the girls on the phone were so nice too cuz I had called twice that day to figure out where to park since we aren't from the area and the hours. read more

My family and I went here last night for dinner. I have been to Yard House before, but this is my very first time coming to this location. Our server was super sweet and provided great service. The food and drinks came out very quickly and we're very happy with this. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered the poke nachos as my main meal. My mother order the cob salad with salmon. And my dad ended up ordering the Nashville chicken sandwich. We all really loved our meals. We even ordered spinach artichoke dip to start. For your local train business I have always loved yard houses food you know what you're getting and you know it's gonna be good. We all also ordered drinks. My mother and I ordered the Long Beach Ice teas and my dad ordered a beer. If you're looking for somewhere with a large range of beer selections, this is 100% place to go. I love your house because you can easily have a nice family meal. You can go to happy hour you can enjoy time sitting at the bar, grabbing a drink there, so many possibilities at this place. My only complaint was at the music was a little bit too loud and it was a bit dark in terms of the lighting, so it was kind of hard to see the menu. But nothing a phone flashlight and just speaking a little bit louder can't do. I would say if you are someone hard of hearing, this might be a difficult environment to have a conversation in. We ended up here after looking for a casual place to dine between where we live in central CT and our friends who live in NY. I work nearby and always heard "Yard House" being thrown around in a positive light. We definitely enjoyed ourselves! They have an awesome pretzel...we devoured two! The truffle fries were good, but not the best, but we all loved our meals! My friend who got the orange chicken normally just picks at her food because she's picky, but she ate a ton! She said it was spicy but in a good way. I LOVED my house cheesesteak; the ribeye was delicious and the shoestring onions were perfect. For dessert our amazing waiter (Leslie!) brought us out the cheesecake and chocolate cake to celebrate a belated anniversary and an early birthday - so fun! Later on in the evening the lights did this fun blinking; maybe to the music? (which, by the way, they had a great playlist!) I couldn't tell...chalk it up to me having been up since 4:30 or because of the GIANT half yard beer I had *shrug* We can't wait to go again! read more

The food and drink are great at at the Yard House. The service at the bar is piecemeal. Things like offering customers a glass of water or giving them a place setting prior to food arriving just don't happen unprompted. It would be more appealing to visit if the restaurant had a door leading into the mall. read more

This never fails to please - great food , huge menu of beer and drinks , indoor and outdoor dining and they have a machine that lets you view photos of the items on the menu, order , pay and even get a printed receipt. Customer service isn't rude, just sucks. Called in a to go order, given the "ready in 15 minutes". Show up over 20 minutes later, told to talk to next counter (right side). Only to stand and wait 10 minutes before being asked my name. Then the order still wasn't ready. A lot can be changed as to first five longer pick up times. 2, have a better to go system as I'm sure everyone behind the desk can send out a to go order. My first and last time. Customer service is everything and this place just doesn't meet the standard. Lastly, parking is basically non existent if you want to be in and out quick. Be prepared to park in the mall and find your way there. read more

I ordered off the gluten-free menu. The bbq salad arrived with the battered fried onions on top which I immediately noted. Ten minutes later my "new" salad arrived with no fried onions. About five minutes into eating I realized that mixed into the salad, with the dressing, were the flour tortilla strips that were not to be included. Clearly they just picked the fried onions off the top and forgot about the other gluten item mixed in. They offered me another one but my friends were already mostly finished eating, and I didn't trust the kitchen, so I declined. It didn't help that a mouse fell from the ceiling, hit the person next to me, and then dropped to the bench between us before scurrying through a hole in the bench. Not a safe place for anyone with severe gluten allergies or those who don't like mice. read more

My original review was 4/5 stars. This one is a 1. It could be zero if that was an option. This was not the same restaurant I ate at when it first opened. This food was all frozen junk. Absolutely zero flavor to the actual food. It was drenched in sauce to hide the frozen rubbery mess it was. The fish and chips that are apparently a house favorite tasted like burnt paper. The rice in the orange chicken meal had to have been uncle bens microwave pouches. I know that burnt microwave taste and smell anywhere. The staff forgot about us multiple times. Not one redeeming factor this time. I wish it wasn't true but it is. OH AND IT WAS $70 FOR FROZEN FOOD. read more

I've been going to Yard house for several years now. Obviously their yard size beer is a fun way to drink but my personal favorite is their white wine Sangria. The food is reliably good and the service is excellent. Will always keep going back especially when I cannot make up my mind of where I want to go/what I want to eat! read more

Honestly the food is great 10 out of 10 it's very expensive but it's worth the money but I just wish they did deliveries whether it's to phone or through food delivery apps like DoorDash, Uber eats etc. that's all. read more

I went the the yard house in Norwalk. Incredibly busy on memorial day at 4:30. There was a wait with numerous visible tables, but whatevs. I had nachos, they were alright, not great. Had two pints of beer. They have a excellent selection. I really wrote this review because I am pissed off they have a 2 sample maximum on their beers. Regardless of how many drinks you order. I think it's insulting to treat all of your customers like they are trying to get drunk off of samples. I guess that's the price you pay for being a national chain. Got to a real bar, and get real service from real employees. Big business near its worst. I would have gone 3-4 stars if I didn't hate this insulting policy. read more

Came here to celebrate my nephew's graduation. Grossly understaffed for a place of this size. One person took our drink order and three different people brought them out one at a time. My nephew ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger that came out with no bacon. I ordered the Korean Ribeye medium. It came out so overcooked that I couldn't chew it. I sent it back and the new one came out warm on the outside and raw in the middle. Beyond rare. They never cleared the table after the appetizers so we struggled to have enough room for our plates and drinks. The unsweetened tea tasted like it was scooped out of a fish tank. When I went to pay they had both ribeyes on the check. This is clearly a place for drinks. Not food. read more

After only 2 visits, i think it's safe to say this place is awesome! For my 1st drink, I got a Pineapple express, which I love. It was very refreshing. (basically a pineapple mojito) Next I had the Malibu peach, which I also really enjoyed. For food we got wings, chicken nachos & the firecracker shrimp. Everything was fabulous, my fave thing probably was the wings. They were so crispy. :-) I like the whiskey pepper & bbq the best. The service was also very good both times. read more

Very awful start to an evening. Was told 5-10 minutes for a table and we ended up waiting 20. After waiting and being brought to our table , it was never wiped down and had long hairs all over it. The server came by and dropped off plastic forks and knives with napkins and walked away. We decided to leave. I have never seen such unhygienic practices. Will not be back. read more

Exceptional customer service, the appetizers were delicious. I highly recommend the tuna tartare and the firecracker shrimp. The steak bowl is delicious, and finally, there are more beers available on Taft than anywhere else. When you arrive, look up at the second floor. You can see all the beers on tap coming down the lines. The restaurant is family friendly so definitely bring the kids and have a great time read more
