The steamed spare ribs and beef chow fun were okay but nothing memorable. The scallion beef pancake was another standout, especially with the dipping sauce, and even the simple cucumber salad was refreshing and well-seasoned. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the chocolate bao. It wasn't bad by any means--it was just much richer than I expected. The chocolate filling is very decadent, so one was more than enough for me. If you love rich chocolate desserts, you'll probably enjoy it more than I did. Overall, this was an excellent meal, and I can absolutely see why it's included in the Michelin Guide.
