This was the very first time trying Yard House. There was a 40 minute wait, which was expected because it just opened last week. I ordered the Sandy Sangria and I was pleasantly surprised because it wasn't one of the drinks that the hostess or the waitress recommended! It was really delish! For dinner I ordered the Poke Nachos which are A M A Z I N G!!! My mom ordered the Chicken Nachos and they were Ginormous and very tasty as well! Their oversized booths leave plenty of space for kids to shuffle around or for large parties to watch a game in comfort. Menu is overwhelmingly diverse, the brews are off the tap, the vegetarian options tasty, burgers well paired with truffle fries, the location nicely situated in the new wing of the mall. It's a huge place too. While this helps reduce wait times, it also means growing pains. The wait staff while very friendly still need to reduce mistakes, correct them more promptly, catch dirty serving plates before putting them on the table, and stop disturbing customers every five minutes by asking if they can take a plate off the table. I assume these will be smoothed out eventually, so I'm sticking with five stars. read more

Second time visiting and decided to give it a second chance. Our waiter was Rose. She approached us and offered to take our drink order. She brought it shortly after, and as we ordered our Poke nachos for appetizer I asked to PLEASE not add sesame seeds as I was allergic to them, she brought us the plate with sesame seeds. Then we placed our food order while ordering second serving of drink, Rose spills my friends drink over my face mask as she crosses over me to place down, doesn't apologize, doesn't offer another face mask and leaves. Then my friends food order had just run out so they offered her another option(pepper Jack burger). She gets her order minutes later after ours, then bun was hard and didn't include(sriracha mayo) what the menu said. We call the floor manager and she offers my friend her first choice again and brings it over. My friend then orders a second drink, and guess what? A hair in her drink. Seriously???? Don't know if I will be back again after so many incidents in one sitting. read more

The bar was almost full and one of the bartenders was standing right in front of me and had an upset look on her face. I did not let that bother me and ordered when she was ready. We noticed the manager and wanted tell her but she had given us free beer because we had a cockroach crawl on us when we were sitting at the bar (previous visit and different review). I decided to pay for out tab and leave. I asked to speak to the manager to let her know about the taste of the Ultra. I realized when I told her that she had the same attitude as the bartender. I have tried to give this place a couple of chances before (cockroach incident and server tasting from our plate as he came out of the kitchen) but this will be my last time visiting this establishment. read more

I went here with my co worker to eat, ordered a to go order 30 mins in advance. We work in the same mall and it was pretty far from where we were. We asked politely if we could seat down and eat there and the guy that was attending us said yes, but then another girl named ximena joined in told us "no, only for people that order there can eat there" she also said how it was super busy and full but we looked around and there was a lot of empty tables. We said ok and we left. It was the way she said it. Super rude. Halfway back we noticed that they didn't include our drinks nor a salad. Two different sauces both equally rich in flavor. The chicken tortilla soup was outstanding I tried all 3 different Sangrias and I was very satisfied. I've tried too many sangrias from a numerous restaurants and I can honestly say the ones I tried today are now on top of my list of favorite sangrias The service was friendly... our server Donni was very attentive. For the price, I highly recommend you spend your time and money elsewhere. Very disappointed. Atmosphere is great. Not really a romantic place, but more like a classier sports bar. Screens showing the game everywhere, but not a rowdy environment at all. Service is good. Things that don't require much cooking, only arrangement, like the poke bowl, came out fantastic. Wings were decent. However, the 28 dollar 12 oz ribeye I ordered was terrible. I had a rare ribeye that came out medium well. However, I would have no issue if that was the only case. When they came back with a replacement, it quickly became clear to me that the cook had never eaten a rare steak in his life. It was disgustingly cold in the middle. Butter on top was solid, it couldn't melt due to how cold the steak was still. Essentially, the cook must've plopped it on the pan for half a second on both sides and taken it off. I was served a steak straight out the refrigerator. Lost my appetite after that. Did not even bother asking for a different item on the menu. I was disappointed, not only because my meal was ruined, but because these cooks really wasted two 12 oz Ribeyes. Bottom line, it's a nice place, but the cooks are either severely lacking in experience or have some personal vendetta against people who rare steaks. read more

This place has millions and millions in funding. Super corporate. When you spend your money here you're taking your money and giving it to some entity that does NOT invest back into our community. Menu items range from $10-20. Pricey. Service was not good at all. I get better service at the flea market restaurant I go to. We got dessert and had no silver ware.
