Update: came again, artichoke dip is amazing, flatbreads are tasty, the entrees are good, but the service is really really good. The servers are just as attentive and nice as last time. 10/10 service!

The food and service was fantastic ! Good selection of craft beer as well! Had the "standard" pizza, Native Texan beer and the flatbread appetizer with three dipping condiments was delicious .

After coming to this restaurant before I'm disappointed with the food. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup and Al pastor pizza. The tortilla soup tasted nothing like a tortilla soup, more like a tomato beef broth with chicken oh and no tortillas. Different would be ok if the soup actually tasted good. The pizza was actually sent to the table without cheese? Was told this pizza didn't have cheese so I had to send it back to have some mozzarella melted on top. Unfortunately we won't be back, nothing special here.

You had me at thin crust and "mini pizza" (like the size of a dessert plate). So salad and mini-pizza was the perfect lunch portion for me. I ordered the San Franciscan as I always love a good sausage, roasted garlic and fresh basil on my pizza and this particular one had it all... Menu is well varied with pizzas, calzones, flatbreads and dips. Mention that it's your first time, and you may get a free dessert....I did ! Btw, Sally, my waitstaff was one of the best...she is a role model for customer service!

I ordered the dip sampler to go and added marinated cucumbers for $1.75. There were only 3 pieces of cucumber. What a ripoff.

If it were busy I get it but when there is only 2 tables in the restaurant come on. Yet when the men in suits walk in they waited not even a minute and had thier menus at the table. I hadn't even finished my food when she was asking if we wanted the tab already. I should have asked if she was kicking us out already. My husband felt like we were being judged and treated like we didnt have money. Then when she brings us our change she is standing there waiting for the tip. I am a server myself and never treat guest based on how they are dressed and much less wait for a tip.

Staff didn't even acknowledge me or take my order in the 20 minutes I was there waiting at the bar. The place wasn't busy, there were maybe 3 other pairs of people at the bar and 2 tables taken up. It was 6 PM on a Thursday so the place was close to empty. The bartender was too busy talking to the barback and didn't even take my order. In that time, he checked on other customers at the bar then returned to his conversation with his coworker. It's never good for a bartender to do the rounds and ignore a client that hasn't yet been served ESPECIALLY on a slow night. This type of treatment can make a client feel profiled or discriminated against. Nothing else to say about this, never going back and I'll gladly recommend other places to people looking for a GOOD bar in McAllen.

The ambiance is that if a five star establishment one goes to when celebrating a special occasion. It's exclusively an indoor dining establishment. That said, expect to pay a pretty penny for your meal and drinks. As for the food, it's not worth the price you pay, in both portion size AND taste. They have gone above and beyond to make this more of your typical pretentious and Instagram'able establishment. That said, I had a fantastic time sitting at the bar and enjoying nice company. During our first brunch visit, the waitstaff's enthusiastic recommendations felt a bit overwhelming--almost to the point of pressure--but we chalked it up to eagerness to help new guests get acquainted with the menu. The space has a club-like vibe, likely aiming for something virtual and modern, but compared to places we've experienced globally, it didn't quite hit the mark. We started with a dish we believed was our appetizer, but it turned out to be something else entirely--our actual order followed and ended up being almost a duplicate but with much less flavor. That made the meal feel heavier than expected. My husband found his plate fairly average, but we understand that new places often need time to refine their offerings. When the bill came, we noticed we were charged for the original appetizer. No fuss--we paid for what we ate and had the rest boxed up. Unfortunately, the green chilaquiles didn't reheat well and lacked flavor the second time around, as well. I dislike throwing food away, but it wasn't worth a sour stomach and ruining the rest of the day. So, I opted to throw it out. Because the restaurant came recommended a couple of weeks later by a friend, we gave it another try. Again, the staff greeted us warmly, though they forgot to bring out the complimentary bread. My husband politely reminded the manager, who graciously handled it himself. This time we brought my daughter. She ordered the stuffed chilaquiles, we had been served previously as an appetizer. The plate this time was overly drenched in a bland sauce. I requested salt to balance it out, and my daughter eventually gave up, scraping off most of the excess and leaving the rest. She was disappointed and left with an upset stomach. My husband mistakenly ordered the regular chilaquiles--made with an enchilada-style sauce instead of a fresh salsa--which was unfortunately a miss again. I had tried to warn him, but the loud club-style music made conversation difficult. I had ordered the same dish on my first visit and left most of it untouched for the same reason: the overwhelming amount of sauce that turned everything mushy. In the end, we paid for a meal that none of us finished -- not once but twice. While we appreciate the staff's energy and hospitality, the food's execution just didn't meet our expectations. Sadly, we don't anticipate returning.

When we got inside the host told us the wait was about 15 minutes. Boo, one big reason why you're not five stars right there. Got seated, and once there I saw that the majority of the restaurant was empty. There were maybe only 7 other tables occupied, so why the wait then? Our server was fantastic. I'm part of their e-club and got a free appetizer. I chose the sweet and spicy boneless chicken. This was SO GOOD - would highly recommend. There was plenty for 3-4 people to share as an app. Ordered the Outlaw ribeye as it's supposed to be a big piece of meat. During lunch the entrees get only one side, at dinner you supposedly get two. I got the mashed potatoes. I got the peach iced tea which I wasn't a big fan of. We were served a loaf of bread to start us off which was very hard to cut and I wish we'd gotten another one given our group size. Mashed potatoes: great. Steak: great, it was cooked as I liked and had a good taste. I told the server it was my birthday and he got me an ice cream on the house. Bonus points for this, this was great!

We got there at 6:40 , table for 8 5 adults 2 kids and a high chair , was told 20/25 min wait tops . There were booths available and plenty of space . 30 minutes go by I ask and was told it's going to be another 20 to 25 minute wait . Keep in mind it was my father in laws 70th birthday and he wanted to eat there . I get it I've been a server before , worked in the industry but when the hostess tells me 20/25 minutes really means 40-45 minutes I start to get upset . Was told " sir you don't have to get mad " I do when I have a. 2 year old who's been waiting for almost an hour , who's hungry and crying because u was told the wait wouldn't be that long . We finally got seated after almost an hour to wait for another 10 minutes before a waiter or anyone approached us . We ordered Sri js and waited another 10-15 minutes before they got there . Once they got there we ordered our food because we knew it would take another 30/45 minutes before it came out . I ordered another drink as did someone else from the table . It never came , nor did the extra bread we ordered . I went to the bar and upended a tab , got bread and took it back to the table . Food showed up and was bland and tasteless . So not worth the wait nor the bill . It's a shame that this location has unmotivated children working as servers and hostesses . We learned last night it's better to just buy streaks at he. And grill them ourselves . Never again . If you are the manager or the owner you should look into this . The bartender working last night was awesome I'll give y'all that !

The pizza was delicious and the crust lived up to the hype as absolutely fantastic. But let's also talk culture and ambience. I learned this place has been open about four months. Let's face it, you can get pizza a million different ways in a million different places. So why here? What makes this place special in my mind is not just that the pizza is delicious but that it is a truly family run business that treats you like family when you're there. Brothers Alfredo and Victor were who I met. Also involved are a sister, a brother in law, mom behind the register, and Alfredo Sr. serving fresh popped popcorn. And what they created together was a fun, electric vibe that felt like a community. And they invited in seven food trucks that complement the park with a variety of other food types so there's something for everyone. In the end, I just love success stories and I want to help champion this family for having the vision, resilience, and drive to bring this community closer together with great food.
