I ordered a glass of the house Chianti and was very surprised at how good it was. I ended up ordering a liter for the table. I had the minestrone soup and the flavor was bold and amazing! My GF opted for a house salad and it was pretty good. She decided to go with the chicken fettuccine as her entrée and was quite delicious. The sauce was not too thick but had tons of flavor. I decided to go with the linguine scampi with shrimp and a lemon butter sauce and this was 10/10 amazing! I finished the whole plate and used the house bread to mop up the left over sauce! The bread tasted fresh and airy. The staff was friendly and like I said the environment didn't scream Italy but none of that matters when compared to how good the food is. I would have eaten this food in the alley, it was sooo good! This place is definitely a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back there and try other items on their menu!

I was not upset at this point - just hungry. Got the bag, looked in saw three containers and figured I was good to go. A salad, a capresse salad, and a side of Italian sausage. Opened up what I thought was the sausage - nothing but sauce. C'mon. If you're going to put an item in two containers put both containers in the bag. Bella Mia's was recommended to me so I thought I would check it out. First thing to note was…read morelocation. The address listed is a tad deceiving. The address is actually a complex, so you have to wander around to find the actual restaurant. (It's in section D - at the back of the complex) You'll need to drive around back to find a closer parking space. Once found, this is a quaint place that allows for intimacy and hearable conversations (except apparently, on the weekend when there's a lot more evening patronage). Lot's of open widows to allow the light in. As one would expect, it has a (modern day) Italian theme. I was seated almost immediatly and presented with a menu that I had a hard time choosing from! I ended up with the lasagna that was a pretty huge chunk of pasta with lots of homemade sauce, and plenty of cheese (although I would have liked a bit more simply because I like the stretch of cheese overload!). The combination cheese blend and seasonings was delicious too. It would have been nice it the waitress was more helpful with recommendations. I like trying new things instead of the old stand-bys, but all I got was "everything is good". It makes me think the staff really hasn't tried much. So - I went with the old stand-by, lasagna. I don't want to take anything away from the lasagna, it was good, but maybe try something else next time. The staff needs to learn flavor profiles. I also had the carrot cake. There were some raves about it, but I have to tell you...it wasn't (to me) all that. I don't know if it's made at Bella's, but it just seemed like standard, run of the mill cake to me and at a HUGE cost of $9.00!!! For that price, you shoulld be able to expct that it was scratch made. Speaking of cost... this is not a cheap date place. Expect to open the wallet. My chunck of lasagna, which includeed a ceasar salad, and a couple pieces garlic toast, was $17.00!! Combine the $9.00 for the carrot cake, and my LUNCH was $25.00!!!! My take away is, the food is good - but not amazing (as I was promised). It's a lovely, cozy place to take a date, but a pricey place for a family or two people. If you've got a few pennies saved, it's a nice change of pace - but not a regular hangout if you're on a budget.

This place is amazing! When you step in you don't even think you're in edcouch. The atmosphere is different and beautiful. I've gone three times and made sure I got different things and they all are good. The first time I went I ordered their fried chicken with I believe mashed potatoes but I will never forget their side salad because it is amazingly delicious I don't know what kind of dressing it is but its amazeballs. The next time I went I got there Philly steak sandwich and usually I don't like Philly steak sandwiches but this one was really really good. The third time I when I took my mother for Mother's Days and they had complementary mimosas and I ordered their tres Leche French toast with eggs, potstoes and bacon and it was amazing it was so good and then I saw that my mother got which was meatloaf and I ate some of that too. I don't know what seasoning they use but it was freaking delicious even my mom said it was better than what she makes. My sister got what they called the Monte Cristo sandwiches, I took one from her and I don't know what it has but it's freaking delicious. I'm literally in my car, sitting right now contemplating on what to order to go because it's all f****** delicious and I don't know what to order. I hope this helps. read more

This is an amazing and delicious restaurant in Edcouch Texas, that has the most amazing home-cooked meals pastries breads cookies, to die for. Their Mamosa's are out of this world, especially the cucumber Mamosa that I had today. This restaurant is a must go to place. I had the grilled chicken chipotle sandwich and a strawberry vinaigrette salad. The flavors and taste was impeccable. While my husband had a bacon cheeseburger, with onion rings. And once again yes the bread for the cheeseburger was homemade and so were the onion rings.
