Country Breakfast - 3 eggs, bacon (or option ofsausage patties), a biscuit with sausage gravy, & hash browns. So filling!!

When traveling for work, I like to find local establishments to visit & support. I found the "COUNTRY OMELETTE" for breakfast via Yelp. Reasonable prices, Friendly and attentive servers, and a menu of choices. I would definitely come back her for breakfast but probably not prefer the "country breakfast #116 on menu). I'm soooo stuffed --- need a nap now.

2.5 stars: This place just isn't the same since the original owners sold & then the original location burned down (formerly located across from Melba's dance studio & old Sun Harvest). The menu has pretty much stayed the same but, the food (lunch) is always cold or lukewarm. Your safest bet is to stick w/the omelettes or a cold sandwich. This place is mostly for the older, retired population. The only reason I occasionally come is so my Mom can catch up w/old friends.

RIP original country omelette. The new spot is certainly cleaner than the old hole in the wall but it's just disconcerting. The whole place is done in movie chic... or movie ugly. Red and black walls, big movie posters, low laminate tables and ancient roll-y chairs scream tragic ghost town diner, not delicious food. Even if it was in a quaint country cottage, the service and the food is lacking. It actually has good flavor but prices and slow service just don't do much to rectify the fact that your eyes are bleeding. I think the reason this place succeeds is that in its old incarnation, it was a breakfast cornerstone. The anemic salad bar and a hideous bathroom are also highly unfortunate. Much better place with a few improvements in their food, service and decor.

This is one of the best breakfast restaurants we've ever been to, and we have dined all over this country!

Their main food are - you guessed it - Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches - but with a twist. We tried the A-1 Philly which had beef, bacon, grilled onions and provolone cheese with A-1 sauce. For this one we opted for fries in a cup which are fries with bacon and melted cheese whiz in a cup. The bread for the sandwich was fresh. The combo of the flavors was really good. I'm not a big A-1 fan because it can really overpower everything it goes on, but with this one, it was just enough to give it the subtle flavor but not overpowering. Very good. The beef was soft, flavorful and moist. The fries - I was skeptical when I heard 'cheese whiz' but I was pleasantly surprised - very good. We also tried the South Texas Philly which had beef, bacon, grilled onions, green peppers, tomato, lettuce and provolone cheese. I opted to leave the mushrooms off. It was also a really good sandwich with good flavors. I order the 'regular' fries and they were that - hand it fries - prepared well. In hindsight - I'd order the fries in a cup. I was very pleased with our food. The dessert menu is extensive and their specialty is a milkshake/dessert combo. The milkshake comes in a Mason jar and then the dessert is literally on top of it. I've never seen anything like it - the presentation was amazing. We shared a Nutti Salty Shake which was essentially a chocolate shake with pretzels, a brownie and Nutella. The top outside of the cup was lined with Nutella and pretzel pieces. The brownie was tasty - the shake great - it was just a super awesome combo dessert. We would absolutely come back here!!

The food came out quickly, and it was really good, I got the chipotle philly cheese steak and the dressed fries. Would definitely go again. They had an extensive desert menu as well that I wish i had had room for
