I was a little disappointed with what I got though. There was no powdered sugar, they did not provide any syrup (on the side would have been good), and it was generally bland. The sausage patty I am almost certain was the same you could find at the grocery store, Jimmy Dean sausage pattys, they come in 8 packs... Unlike just about anywhere I have had breakfast, including side of the road diners in the middle of nowhere I was not offered a refill on my coffee. I should've asked though because I was double charged for all the drinks at my table. They were only $3 each (the coffee too) so not a big deal. As for ambience the place has a really great vibe and they even had a performer playing spanish guitar. The place got pretty full but I am not sure why. I don't plan on visiting again and I cant give my recommendation for them with this experience but try them out if you will. You may have a better experience.

This place is always packed... especially during special occasions, so be ready for a wait. I won't hold it against the place .. because good things come to those who wait, right? Servers have always been attentive. My wife and I always enjoy their buttered rolls... delicious start to anyone's night. We try to hold off on ordering more because the main entree is coming up ..but it's a hard temptation to say no to more buttered rolls. The cook on the meat has usually been spot on. This night, I had chicken fried steak. The portion was more than enough, the cook was nice and crisp, the gravy had the perfect combination of salt and pepper, and the steak itself was cooked perfectly. My wife's steak was cooked to her liking of well done. The topping of mushrooms added the perfect element of earthiness and texture to each bite...it was delicious! The loaded potatoes were a given of course... And everything paired perfectly with a cold draft beer. If there was only one tidbit...I wish they would expand their draft selection, considering many others nearby have considerable draft choices...but that is splitting hairs. One of my favorite places to enjoy an evening with my wife...and it will be yours as well!

First our waitress told us rudely that we shouldn't be ordering from other people just her, when we told her we ordered from someone else because she was never around she answered that "she was busy with drink orders coming up and down." This interaction was a few minutes because she would still answer us rudely instead of acknowledging that we wouldn't have known that there is only one waitress per table. We went up to management to let them know of this uncomfortable situation we just had and they sent a manager to speak to us. The manager came by our table and never apologized for her behavior and instead just gave excuses, one or them being "She was having a bad day" ???????. On top of it all food took forever, orders came out wrong, and even though we were a big party no one really kept up with us just bad treatment all around. We waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came to attend to us, and even after our order was finally taken, our drinks took over 5 minutes to arrive--after we had already been waiting for quite some time. While we continued waiting, we also noticed three ants crawling/passing by our table, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning, especially in a restaurant. The food itself also took an extremely long time to come out. At that point, the whole experience felt like we were constantly waiting for someone to acknowledge us, bring our drinks, and eventually bring our food. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but the combination of the slow service, long wait times, and seeing ants around our table made this a very disappointing visit. It wasn't even that packed to begin with, maybe 5-10 tables were being used. I really hope management addresses the service and cleanliness issues because this is not the experience I expect when dining out.
