Today my family and I went to spend my nephew's birthday here. What should've been a fun afternoon turned disappointing due to the treatment we got from staff. First our waitress told us rudely that we shouldn't be ordering from other people just her, when we told her we ordered from someone else because she was never around she answered that "she was busy with drink orders coming up and down." This interaction was a few minutes because she would still answer us rudely instead of acknowledging that we wouldn't have known that there is only one waitress per table. We went up to management to let them know of this uncomfortable situation we just had and they sent a manager to speak to us. The manager came by our table and never apologized for her behavior and instead just gave excuses, one or them being "She was having a bad day" ???????. On top of it all food took forever, orders came out wrong, and even though we were a big party no one really kept up with us just bad treatment all around. The service was quick friendly and made me feel comfortable when I was just eating alone. The service and experience at top golf has always been a positive experience. Great place for kids and adults for some outdoor golfing fun. First time trying out the food however. Burger and wings definitely look amazing...burger great size and presented very well. Only negative is they over seasoned it....Patty was already a bit on the salty side, but kitchen went ahead on salting over the egg as well. Which idk why....wings were good not dry and sauced up just about right, best part were the fries...tasted hand cut fresh. Cool even if you're not a golfer! Took golf in college, but coach just paid attention to two players who were taking course for an easy A! :( Three floors indoor and outdoor! We of course choose the 3rd floor. :) Nice areas to sit and play. More later; just arrived. Well, Top Golf lost a star! I keep trying to get some help with the screen and being ignored. I guess guest service is lacking.. We were in Houston and screens here different and totally suck! They don't have the screen that shows us where the ball lands or the speed. Sucks big time!!! Wait staff says that they have the ability, but it's a no. Maybe in the future... After awhile, service picked up. Fun time had anyway, so we left happy. read more

We were not able to reserve online and was taken as a walk in. The wait was not long give or take 30mins. Our waitress was really attentive. One of the managers came up to us to apologize for the long wait on the food and added extra time to our game ( good gesture) my Husband and I ordered their smoke house BBQ Burger and the mac daddy burger. Both burgers had good flavor HOWEVER would have been better if it was hot. Our friend ordered the flat pepperoni pizza but she was not impressed with the taste. **HOT ADDITION TO THE VALLEY** Top Golf had a booth set up at a 5K I ran a few weeks ago, so I was able to get a cool $10 off promotion deal. So disclaimer, I've been to the Top Golf in Vegas (massive and there is a rooftop pool and club seats) but I would say the interior, feel and vibe are on par (all puns intended :) like their other locations. The minute you walk in the place is full of energy, the TV has the games going, and everyone's just having a good time. 4 star on the game: The prices vary depending on the time slots you visit. At night it's about $23/30 min or $45/hr. It's a bit pricey I think, but they do allow you to have up to a party of 6 at each bay so with a group it's not bad. Also, you have to pay an additional $5/ person one time membership fee in addition to the bay price. There's enough clubs and even little clubs for kids. It's 20 balls per game and you can continue to play "new games" during your game time. Even on a cold day it's nice cause they have heater controls at your bay. To be honest, you don't need to know how to golf in order to have fun. 5 star for service: The staff was really helpful and nice. The place is also new so everyone's just extra welcoming. Overall, I would say it's worth checking out with coworkers, school friends or family or corporate events. Hopefully they run more promotions to get people to visit more frequently and repeat visits. read more

I had the bright idea of coming here on a very cold day. (Note to self: do not do that again.) They did have heaters that worked very well, but after an hour I started complaining to my husband that I was ready to go! Lol. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. The place was nice. We ordered dessert that we ended up just taking home because we were still stuffed from eating dinner elsewhere. Donut holes were still delicious the next day we ate them. I couldn't quite get the hang of swinging. It's not as easy as it looks on tv. Haha. My husband was in his element. Expect a 2-3hour wait for the Golf Bays. Waited at the bar area and goid thing some games were showing so that sped up the waiting process a bit. The food/drink service is pretty unorganized....I can't tell how many times I looked around and the food runners are asking each table if they ordered what was being brought out. But on the bar area it's great for sports season so while you are waiting for that 3-4 hour waitlist then it's a good time killer. Foood was ok Golfing is fun of course but pricy. read more

I've gone to Topgolf in San Antonio before and the Pharr location is similar. The first time we came to this location was right after their soft opening and everything went well until we ordered food. My husband ordered a plain and dry burger with cheese and they brought him a burger all the way. Then we told our server they took it back and brought it back all the way again. We cancelled that order since all of us were done eating. The manager did come and waived our play time since there was an inconvenience. I've gone several times after just to drink and watch games but we don't order food. They have a great selection of tvs with multiple games that you can see at once. Went the other weekend for the first time. Place was amazing. Atmosphere is great, food was amazing. I had the Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Very flavorful and i enjoyed it very much. Had 2 micheladas and they were good, a bit pricey but expected when going to a place like this. ONLY CONPLAINT is the service. Our waitress was very rude. Lol, now the food though, that's another way different story, we got the nachos and they were 7/10 (decent) we also got the pulled pork sliders which was probably the worst pulled pork i have ever eaten, i DO NOT recommend them at all 0/10! I couldn't even finish a second one. The pulled pork doesn't even taste like pulled pork, it tastes like beef with honey.. but other than that the experience is A-1 as long as you stay away from the pulled pork sliders lol. read more

I want to begin by saying that the Ultimate Nachos are thee best with sour cream BUT the Pulled Pork Sliders on the other hand are not soo good. New Topgolf is right off the highway and is pretty simple to get to using the GPS and the parking is definitely much better than the San Antonio location. Once we arrived we walked in and were greeted by a team member that directed us to the counter to reserve a hub. Since I have previously been to a Topgolf I recommend if you are going to get food like we did eat before you play because then you lose time trying to do both at same time. We then sat at the open bar and the first thing we noticed was the huge screens to watch games. We ordered two burgers mine was the Mac Daddy Burger which is a fried green chili macaroni burger which was super delicious and it also came with fries. After we were done eating we went to our hub located on the 3rd floor which can be reached by the stairs or an elevator. Once there a team member helped us sign in and select our length of time to play and briefly explained safety rules and types of games that could be played. We did have a waitress wait on us but we already ate so we did not order but was nice just in case we wanted any additional food or drinks. At the hub you can control all the area such as the fans, heat, and TVs right from your hub. We played for one hour which ran $33 for both of us also all golf clubs are provided but you do have the option to bring your own. We then started playing my only negative review is that the length of the driving range seems smaller and I couldn't tell if there was actually a long drive hole along the back of the net as there is in other Topgolf locations. Once done playing our waitress asked if we wanted extend our time or if we were done playing and provided us with our bill. I do recommend going to Topgolf even if you have never played before I always say it is the "glow bowling" of golf that who do you know that is a professional bowler but everyone goes. Went into top golf on a Saturday thinking about renewing my platinum membership. But after the service we got I don't think I'll ever go again. We were rushed to finish our food and our drinks before 12am Which is the time they close. We were asked multiple times if we wanted a box to go. at exactly 12:01am Our host was standing right next to us picking up or stuff and telling us that we had to leave. Normally in a restaurant/bars you are allowed to stay a few mins after hours just to finish yore food. For those of you looking for a late night out on a weekend don't go here. read more

Took our family and our friends family out for a night of fun. We enjoyed the appetizer food and the buckets of beer. We all had a blast golfing. We rented two bays for two hours. The last fifteen minutes we were harassed by our waitress about how we need to add time or cash out to leave. When we said we were going to just finish out our 15 minutes on the two bays she said they use the last 15 minutes to bust the area and set up for the next people coming in. We've gone to so many golf Topgolf places and only in McAllen they thought the last 15 minutes of our time we paid for is for them to bust the tables. We did finish our last fifteen minutes of our time on both bays while being glared at by the staff. The atmosphere is great, food is great, staff needs training. Very unprofessional. read more
