I have plant based diet. The waiter offered me the vegan chicken wings. Great! Was very good. There was a white sauce with it. I asked if that sauce is also vegan and he said yes. Next night I went there again. Same order this time the other waiter told me that white sauce is not vegan! I came here on 5/10/21 as my flight got delayed and my bf was hungry. We were sat around 1:56pm. We sat in the enclosed patio. It felt better than outside, but it was still warm. I wish they had the fans going. Waitress came around 2pm. Note: I didn't get her name, but she was fairly attentive. I was on the phone and wasn't very hungry as I ate already before leaving hotel. She took his order. He ordered the small spicy jambalaya for entree and 4 cheese spinach dip as an appetizer. The jambalaya was huge to be a small order. Both items were good, so he says. I ended up ordered the wings. Unfortunately, they were breaded, which I can't have doing keto. I didn't know until after I got them. Most places don't bread their wings. It's my fault for my most asking prior to ordering. Waitress offered to get me something else but I didn't want to waste them, so I just ate them and added another cheat day, which turned out to be a good idea because my flight continued to get delayed and I had to eat airport food. The wings were delicious!! We got a couple lemon drop shots a piece. The second round had crushed ice in it, which was odd. Plus, they tasted more juicy than a solid mix of juice and liquor. The best steak I've had in the Valley. When your head nods back from the unexpected flavors on that first bite ,then it's money!!! The poke bowl is more like a salad, but very tasty indeed!!! Missed it so much. The sticky fried rice patty gives it an interesting twist to eating it. Pizza was mehhhhh I would save calories for something else The lemongrass Angolotti pasta needed more lemongrass. I didn't really taste any but my wife said she did...barely. Chicken nachos were very ample yet some of the chips were burned black. Chicken was rubbery tasteless chunks. Maui chicken was awful. Could not tell which pieces of chicken was served. Chicken was moist and covered with an ok soy based sauce. Six chunks of pineapple comprised the Hawaiian theme of the recipe. Broccolini was tough and some was actually blackened. Jasmine rice was large portion with no flavor. One diner had large steak and was very pleased with tenderness. Parmesan mashed potatoes were so-so. Carrot cake was coated with cream cheese icing that had the consistency of thick glue. Taste was just ok. Not worth a return visit. read more

I really love Calamari but the Calamari they brought out was was heavily fried and too crunchy/hard, I dont like it like that, im used to it being soft and manageable. This is a great deal, especially if you're in a crowd and want to try a lot of different things. My husband and our four year old had lunch here at La Plaza Mall on a Sunday. We sat on the patio because the weather was nice, but be aware that flies and gnats will come in once you get your food, and the music is very loud. Our waiter was helpful, and he gave us plenty of time to decide on what to order. My husband did not enjoy the Cuban Roast Dip, and my daughter didn't care for the kid's spaghetti. I used to catch soccer games often in the Yard House of San Antonio La Cantera. I wasn't a huge fan of the place because it's overpriced but the beer selection is good and the service wasn't bad. However, I visited the location in McAllen and they refused to put on the soccer game and actually had NO SPORTS ON ANY TV. They were also out of about 1/4 of the taps.
