Iced Dark Mocha Brûlée Boba
Joe P.

As promised, I came back for a savory croffle and I was not disappointed! The croffle has a syrup glaze that perfectly complements the turkey, egg and cheese! This would be a perfect meal to start every day! We also could not skip out on the boba tea. We got the taro milk tea with coconut milk and 50% sugar. I think the coconut milk gives it enough natural sweetness that we could go with 25% next time, but it was still so good. As usual, their boba is a step above others because it is so fresh. The cookies were also so good; think Tate's think crispy cookies. Service was quick and friendly, and the interior is still so clean and welcoming! We will be back!

I was extremely excited for this location to open because it is officially the closest Yaas tea location to my house! Located right near the AMC movie theater, this is in a prime location. It is extremely clean and modern looking on the inside. You have the option of ordering on a kiosk but there are employees behind the front counter to answer any questions you may have. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced matcha oat milk tea with salt cream cap and boba. It was amazing! I ordered 50% sugar and it still tastes pretty sweet without being overpowering. The boba is made fresh throughout the day and you can tell because it reflects in the taste. Overall I plan on visiting this establishment often and trying some of the other drinks as well.

Their drinks were water down. So disappointed only thing was good was the boba soft and chewy.

So glad to see a Tea place in the lake grove area. Menu has so many options and the cup is super cute and reusable! Staff is enthusiastic and friendly. Kiosk ordering is easy and fast!

First time at this location and I love it! The employees are super friendly and greeted me as soon as I came in. What I love about this location is that it's in a shopping center, so I don't have to worry about parking. It's a very clean location and love that. The employee that helped me out was super sweet. The food is great and love the cookie jar. The employee brought everything out for me while I was at my table. Which is a nice touch! Will definitely come back here again.

This place is so adorable, warm and welcoming! The staff members were exceptionally hospitable and patient. Everything we tasted was delightful! So grateful for the opportunity to go. I only wish it were closer to home and I hope the other locations are as amazing!! Will definitely stop in whenever I'm in the area though

The selection was great. They even have slushies. This time I got Iced Green Tea with Boba for my first experience. I also opted for 25% of the amount of sugar they typically add to have it less sweet, I love that there's options! I really enjoyed it and had plenty of boba in it as well. I'll try something new when I'm back out that way!

My last visit (Friday afternoon) I ordered a Medium Wintermelon Milk Tea (you can get it without the milk), Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles and a Grilled Shrimp Rice Bowl. Everything was delicious and very flavorful though I felt the Garlic Noodles were a bit on the saltier side and the Wintermelon Milk Tea was a bit too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). There were a lot of flavorful chicken pieces and the shrimp came with about 7-8 pieces, also very flavorful. They have 3 different sauces that I was given since I was eating there and just returned it to the counter once done. My favorite of the 3 was the more liquidy one though they all tasted great. The place is located in a strip mall with a lot of free parking. There's some seating inside and one small table outside. It's spacious and clean. They have great background music playing and their unisex bathroom is spacious and clean as well. The food came out in a reasonable time and the staff (I'm assuming maybe the owners) were also very pleasant.

I needed a little caffeine so I opted for my earl grey with boba only a tad sweet. It did the trick. My friend and I shared a banana pudding. Yaaas Tea is my go to for boba because no other place makes boba like them! Their boba is made fresh every hour on the hour, is flavorful and therefore, tastes amazing! I was recently in the area (end of January 2026) for an appointment and had gift cards for Yaaas Tea purchased from Costco ($25 x2 gift cards for $39.99 - and there's sometimes sales on top of this!) so why not? I initially used their self serve kiosk to order but then realized the way the card scanner was placed, that there was no way to swipe my gift card into the reader which was kind of annoying. The employee who was there however, was more than kind enough to take a picture of my order and manually put in the order with the regular cashier at the front. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade with Mango Popping for my son and he loved it. For myself I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Boba which was delicious. For our food, I ordered a Turkey Egg and Cheese Croffle and an Egg and Cheese Croffle (for my son). Both were delicious, made fresh and very filling. Last time I had also gotten their cookies (very reminiscent of Tate's cookies) but when I inquired about them this visit, she said they were in the process of baking fresh cookies on premise! Super excited about that! There were a few tables in the front of the store and the whole store itself was clean, spacious and brightly lit. Plenty of free parking in the lot at the front as it's located in a huge strip mall. I will definitely be returning any time I'm in the area and craving a bubble tea and/or croffle sandwich!

We've found this surprisingly hard to find around Stony Brook. We usually have my inlaws bring food in from Commack when we want good Chinese, but we were really hoping to find a local spot that hits the spot. The other night we asked our nanny, who has lived in the neighborhood for a lot longer than us, to suggest a place for great Chinese. To our surprise she suggested Tai Chi. We were like, what? The bubble tea place? But she wasn't kidding, so we gave it a try. And WOW. We weren't disappointed! This is going to be our go-to place for great Chinese food standards. It was hot, delicious, good portion sizes, and the price point was right. Highly recommend for what we ordered, and looking forward to trying other menu items soon.

When I asked my daughter, "when did that get there?" She responded, "it's new and I hear it's pretty good. We should try it if you're in the mood for bubble tea." Once inside, there is nice seating if you are looking to sit a bit. Looking up at the many choices on the board, the folks behind the counter immediately asked if we were ready to order or needed assistance. As I inquired about the differences between the drinks I was torn between, my knowledgeable server thoughtfully explained the drinks and how I could also customize my sweetness level. The high level of customer service for a mall shop was quite refreshing and more of a reason I would come back. I ultimately chose Sweet Sunshine: mangos and lychee mixed with jasmine green tea, with lychee jelly. Since my roommate does not speak Chinese, we communicated entirely in English throughout the visit, and the staff at the front counter also spoke to us in English. I have been to this restaurant many times before and have usually left an 18% tip. This was my roommate's first visit. After we finished our meal, my roommate paid the bill but did not add a tip. After noticing that no tip had been left, the staff member at the front counter came directly to our table and asked my roommate, "Cash tips?" My roommate seemed surprised and responded, "No."This interaction already made us feel very uncomfortable and pressured. In addition, both my roommate and I felt that the service had not been particularly good. After that, the staff member shouted toward the kitchen in Chinese: "These two are freeloading! They didn't leave a tip!" Since my roommate does not understand Chinese, he did not know what was being said. However, I understood the comment and found it highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful toward customers.
