I'll be making this a part of my regular routine. I've been in need of regular bodywork but it's so pricey - until now. Thank you Xin Spa for offering affordable massage. If you are not familiar with Asian spa/massage studios, be sure to do a little research before going. It's not a fancy spa experience and you might hear other people's conversations during your session. This location is clean and comfortable and I truly enjoyed my massage. I will be back - hopefully every other week. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the music was a bit loud and a little too elevator music sounding, just not my thing. read more

Stopped in for 30 min back massage. The therapist was good, however the room Was not very clean the towels they used to wipe off the oil smelled terrible. I left feeling slimy and smelling like dirty laundry. read more

Almost always available and they do very good with tight muscles. Very consistent messages across the different staff members.

Super sad that I could not even communicate what I wanted to see the set up to make a decision on whether or not I wanted a service. Not being able to have this interaction I could not convince myself that I would have the experience I was looking for, so left :( read more

Excellent deep tissue massage. I did the 90 min massage. I was stiff, sore and tight when I went in and was so nice and loose when I came out. Thank you Xin Foot! I recommend you drink lots of water before and after to flush toxins out. read more

Had a great deep tissue massage from Jen today! You can't beat the price and how easy it is to hop in for a 30 minute to a 90 minute massage! read more

Affordable deep tissue massage and highly recommend Jenny, she knows a lot massage techniques, she is awesome.

Odd experience. I was in town with my husband and two other friends and we decided we wanted a foot massage. We found this place on google. Their menu had combos of foot plus other massages. I really only wanted the foot massage but a combo was all I could get. I'll start by saying that I've had less than 10 massages in my life and only one other foot massage but lots of pedicures. I'm aware I'm sensitive and prefer a gentle touch. I went with the foot, head and back combo. My husband and I were in the same room together. His was a low bed that he described as two tables, pushed together with an awkward seam in the back area and his legs hung off, bending at the knee to soak his feet in the bucket of water. Mine was a high bed where I had to bend my legs to put my feet in the bucket on my bed. The traditional music was a bit too loud and not exactly relaxing. My first masseuse was a man and I started fully clothed, not realizing what to expect. He started with massaging around my temples and forehead then drug his fingers through my hair (full of hairspray) getting tangled and pulling my hair. I asked him to stop. He started pushing into my head with his fingers very hard in alternating spots, I asked him to please be gentle. So far, not relaxing at all. He must have felt my vibes and a woman took over. The foot massage was okay, pretty strong pressure. She moved to my back, asked me to take off my shirt, which was fine. She was pretty brutal after several requests to lighten up. I'm sure many people love a rough massage but I just don't. After so many requests, I figured she would get the hint but she was relentless. My husband informed me that she used her elbows, I'm still sore two days later and I can't turn my head fully to the left comfortably. Everyone in my group agreed it was all a weird experience. The price was low, so I guess that's a plus. If you want an intense, very rough massage for cheap, this is the place for you. The door advertised a happy hour price between 10 am and 11 am, he didn't give us the special and all together ignored our question when we asked about it, only responding with noises. If I lived in Austin, I would not go back. read more

This was ok. Not bad not good. I was a little disappointed when I asked for a combo and just got a massage. You go to a foot spa to get your feet rubbed and that did not happen. So TIP when you are ordering be careful because when the ask full body it's for a massage not a combo. They do also have a combo on the menu. The massage was also awkward because they started on your back then turned you over to work the front. Also they charge $2 credit card processing. read more

So I called to see if they had any availability on the same day. The gentleman I spoke to said yes, when can you come. I said I could be there in 15 and he said that's fine. I was 6 mins late, just with traffic and trying to find the place. I was then told by the front desk receptionist (which there was a huge language. Barrier) to come back in 30 mins. I waited outside in my car for 30 minutes. I come back and they take me back and then suddenly they ask if I made an appointment. And I was confused, of course. I tried to explain and they basically told me to call back and make an appointment. Like why do I need to do that if I am already here? This was a horrible first time for me and I will never go back. Zero stars if I could select that. read more

A-MA-ZING. Got the combination massage which is a great price for 60 minutes (only $50) and almost fell deep asleep because the foot massage was so relaxing. The body massage was definitely firmer and was quite intense but I'm sure you can ask for a bit softer if that's what you want. It was super thorough and I felt completely boneless when it was done. The atmosphere of the place is nice, light pink walls and the right combo of darkness and quiet, relaxing music. The service was great and everyone was really nice. Highly recommend. read more

Xin Foot Spa - Reflexology Near Me - Austin, Texas

Best place in Austin for a massage. Would definitely recommend to anyone in south Austin.

I have been stalking Yelp for months waiting for one of these places to pop up in S. Austin! The massages are 1/3 the price of a standard American mid-scale spa and usually twice as good! The environment is not set up to be plush - so adjust your expectations accordingly. But the massages are easy to schedule and generally very good! read more

the whole spa is a hallway connected to several small rooms for massage. The whole area is painted in pink. There is a small reception desk located at the front entrance .I wasn,t offered a choice between a female or male. I was automatically given a massage by a middle aged male. When given a face massage he concentrated on my temples not asking anytime if the pressure was alright(it was rough) The foot massage is not anywhere connected to reflexology. The piped in music was provided by a smartphone connected to a speaker.sitting on a ledge in the hallway..Water is provided in super small cups, A discount is offered after 10 vists the 11th visit is free When you think about it your spending an average of $300or higher to get a free massage at an average of $29 to $30.This spa is located in a strip mall with very little parking My visit was very uncomfortable read more

I've had two amazing massages here and was excited to have found such a great place. Unfortunately my great experiences have been overshadowed by the bad. I made an appointment for my husband and I at 5pm one Sunday. When we showed up, the front desk person couldn't find anything and kept asking if I had called and from what number. I showed her proof of the phone call from that morning and she realized she had made a mistake. So instead of apologizing and telling me to come back, she and another employee brought us back to give the massage. My husband's massage was fine, but mine was horrific. The woman doing mine was answering the phone and yakking loudly to her coworker in the room and also the one in the room next door! Through the walls! Talking extra loud so the employee in the next room could hear her. How the hell is that relaxing?? I really couldn't believe how badly half ass she was doing my massage. One hand massaging (if you can call it that) and one hand on the phone. She also left to run up front whenever someone came in. If it was just me, I would have gotten up and left, but I didn't want to mess up my husbands massage so just stayed quiet. When we were done she did a quick "sorry, we're busy" and ran out of the room. She knew she did a crap job. It's been about a month since that experience so I figured I'd give them another try and while there would pick up a gift certificate for a friend. The woman at the front desk spoke no English at all other than continually telling me "you come back, no appointment". I kept trying to tell her I just needed a gift certificate and she had no idea what I was saying and just kept trying to get me to leave. I finally got through by typing certificate into a translation app. She finally understood and chicken scratched the amount on an index card which was my "gift certificate". Finally another employee came up and wrote out the amount on a thank you card which was at least a bit more presentable than handing my friend an index card. I will make sure my friend knows it's a crap shoot on whether they have a good experience or not. Very sad, I really liked this place at first, but now it seems they are too busy to do a good job. read more

Got a great foot massage from Lily. Four stars instead of five because of the $2 upcharge for using a credit card and the lack of English speakers on the premises. I said no to attempts to turn the foot massage into a combo, so I didn't have problems with the upsell that some other reviewers have reported. read more

It takes a lot for me to be dissatisfied with a service and even more for me to write a review....I actually think this is the first review I have left a company due to dissatisfaction. It was the worst massage experience of my life. I walked in and the gentleman at the front had his feet up on the desk. I had called ahead to ask about availability and be must've recognize my voice because he was insisting I take the 90 minute massage which is what I was calling ahead to ask about. When I decided to only do the 60 minute massage he was transparent about his disappointment. I reviewed the options and he was quick to try to force me into one of them. I selected and option and funny enough, it ended up not being the service that was provided to me. I definitely didn't think the gentleman with such lack of manner at the front would be the person also giving me a massage. He walked me into a room and closed the curtain without giving me any instructions or idea of what to expect. I was a little uncomfortable after how aggressive and rude he was at the front desk. Throughout the course of the massage it quickly became apparent that he had little to no professional training. Why he was massaging in some of the spots that he massaging was beyond me. Most of it just felt like a skin rub. While on my stomach he jabbed me with his elbow to a spot on the back that I'm pretty sure is tighter now than before the massage due to the shock of the jab. I could've gotten a random friend of mine to do a better job. Not once did he advise me what he was going to do next or ask how I was doing. I was so glad when it was over that I prepared my cash in the room so that I could quickly pay at the front and leave. Having been in the service industry for a big part of my life I typically pay at least 20%, but in this case I really couldn't justify doing so. In fact, I was struggling with paying the amount of the service. I did not feel a tip was appropriate after the way he made me feel guilty at the beginning for not going with the hour and a half massage and for the terrible massage itself that has me in more pain now than before I went in. Either way, as I was leaving he (and another lady behind the desk) started demanding that I pay a tip. Never again. read more

Absolutely AMAZING ! !!! Got a 90min full body massage from Wendy. Great pressure, she found every knot. Will definitely be back! Make sure you tip well they deserve it read more

I went to Xin Foot Spa because of 2 coupons advertised on their website. One for half off services for the first 3 months of their grand opening (cashier verified that they have been open for less than 3 months) and the other for a couple's massage which would include free oil and hot stone massage. Here is the link to one of the coupons. http://xinfootspa.club/special.html I also came because their prices listed on the website looked good. One can't complain about a 60 minute body massage for $40 especially if therr is a half off coupon. Here is a link to the prices below on their website. http://xinfootspa.club/menu.html When I went in, I presented the coupon and was immediately told that they do not honor any coupons. They then showed me their menu of services with prices that far exceeded the prices listed on their website. I asked if I could pay what was advertised on their website. And again, I was told that they do not honor the website prices. So I figured, ok, maybe this is just a cashier saying this, how about if we ask the boss. I asked the cashier to call the boss, and the boss, clearly stated that they would not honor the website prices or the coupons advertised on their website. And what she said was clear as day. I explained that that was baiting and switching but neither boss nor cashier was willing to honor their own advertisements or website prices. I have screencaps of the website price listings and of the coupons that are clearly advertised on their website. I tried calling the establishment to see if maybe they would rectify the situation but even the person on the phone said that they don't honor the prices advertised on the website or the coupons on the website read more

GREAT MASSAGE. AWKWARD/NOT SO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am very torn about my lpw rating. The massage itself was wonderful; the lady went above and beyond applying intense pressure. However, there needs to be a clear understanding of what you are paying for AHEAD OF TIME. I told the man at front that I only needed a neck massage. Once he put me in the room he told me to undress. Again I told him I only needed a neck massage. I even pointed at my neck and shook my hands at my legs and body. 10 minutes passed before the massage therapist came in and began apologizing. I told her I only needed my neck massaged. I told her again and she understood me. 25-30 minutes into the massage she had me move from the table (undressed) to sit on a chair so she could better work on my neck. The massage was great, the pressure was amazing. Until she stopped-_- She was working hard, which I totally understand, but she stopped massaging and informed me the new price was $60!!! I was dumbfounded. I told her I asked the guy up front for neck only. She repeated that it would be $60. I held my ground and said we could just finish the massage then. She left the room and got the price menu from up front. We went back and forth over what I initially asked for and what she was saying. I told her the guy up front didn't tell me about a price increase. She said she was the one saying the priced increased. We finally settled on $50 for a full body massage (from the initial $35-$40). It was very VERY AWKWARD from that moment on. I had another 30 minutes or so left. Once the session was over I knew thet were going to push the issue at check out. That is exactly what happened. By the time my wife got up and left the very awkward conversation at the cashier I was talking to the entire staff there about what was initially agred upon (neck massage) and what their changes were halfway through the massage. They asked me if I wife had money(luckily she already left) and I said no. We had several minutes of back and forth stares and my continual explanation that they cannot just change the prices halfway through and that the guy at the front should have told the massage therpaist what I had asked for. I finally just told them they need to be more forthcoming next time and the massage lady I had was asking for a $20-$30 tip. I told her she deserved that amount ,but when it was all said and done I did not bring that amount of money with me. Alas, amongst several flabbergasted staring Chinese people, I left the room...fully expecting some yells or a handful of candy to be thrown at me. Truly truly awkward experience. But the massage was good. Enjoy at your own peril. read more

Excellent massage, can't beat the price. I can't wait to go back! This would be an excellent choice for a couples massage, too, as it isn't too formal or awkward, but they have cozy double table setups. read more

Not bad. I requested a deep tissue massage and at first it was definitely not deep tissue but I asked the lady to work on my shoulder some more and she did. I do think it helped. very very bad massage. do not come here. i repeat do not come here. the massage definitely suck. i had for 90 minutes body massage - they just move their hands and pretend they are massaging. i told the masseuse to make it harder, what she did was just press and press. i dont know what shes doing at all. and the lady keep stopping in the middle of the massage and look at her phone and play with the phone every five minutes. this place is not even professional at all. i had to tell them to stop but they kept doing the same thing. their manager was very rude and didn't help at all. they didn't even finish the massage and said that they even said bad things in chinese and after living the place they splash a cup of water behide my frind and i like we are bad luck. wellness foot spa is way better. its located opposite number one massage! read more

***First things first - do not drink from the water cups they give you. It is completely rancid with MOLD which is a health risk*** I usually come here pretty regularly because I live so close, and each time it's a different experience. Today was the worst experience I've had here. My massage therapist's technique was extremely aggressive and fast. There is a difference between applying pressure and being rigorous. Not soothing at all. During my session, his phone rang loudly, he answered it and actually talked on the phone. TWICE. That is just not something you do on the job let alone doing it while providing a "relaxing" service to your customers. When I was done, he charged me $5 more than normal. Also, he gave me a cup of MOLDY water. Owners - if you are reading this, please get this taken care of ASAP read more

Your level of satisfaction at these types of massage places is all about your expectation. If you expect The Four Seasons Spa you will be disappointed, but you're not paying Four Seasons prices either. This is not the type of place that takes your health history and gets to know you, but if that's not what you need, this is a great service at a great price. Went with my fiance and got full body massage (1 hr) for $40 each. Since we went as a couple they added hot oil and hot stones for free. Services providers speak minimal English which was fine with us. They were super courteous and did keep asking during the service if everything (pressure) was OK. The place is nice, new, tastefully decorated, quiet with nice background music, smelled clean and fresh, they offer you water upon conclusion of massage, and they even have a discount card (visit 10 times get 11th free). If you like supporting local business and people that work hard, and you want to feel great, I recommend this business. We will definitely be back. Their current promo of $30/hr foot massage, wasn't a bad deal but the foot massage wasn't that great. It was a lot of rubbing of the feet and leg, not much pressure applied to the feet. I've gotten plenty of foot reflexology and this place just wasn't up to par. read more
