I really loved that he did lots of stretching at the end and checked in about pressure as sometimes it was quite deep but at 35 bucks for 30 mins, I will probably be here multiple times a week. Start a timer on your phone when they actually start your massage. This is the third time today that they have shorted me 10 minutes and want to argue about it. I'm very calm. Just show them the phone and they get it. But not ok they are shorting me and others time that is not part of the treatment. When they are soaking your feet. Or towel wipe down or transition from the foot massage to the chair massage. That time does not count anywhere else you go. It's the time from when they are using their hands to work on you. I understand when a company is busy, but 4 different walk-ins were taken before me after I had waited patiently for 25 minutes. I was then brought the the massage chair and waited another 10 minutes before my 30 minute massage was to begin, starting at 2:13pm. My masseuse stoped on 3 separate occasions to tend to people coming in and setting them up for their foot massage. He then promptly stopped at 2:40pm. As you can see that was not a 30 minute provided service, but I was charged full price and when I stated facts he just looked at me. I went ahead and paid, but explained that I would not be coming back to a place that does not provide a service that should be expected. The massages are WAY better than alternative high-priced exclusive spas, but without the frills (which I don't need) and for very affordable rates. They target the tight spots, know the reflexology for feet and give great deep and thorough massages, helping to loosen my tightness, every time. I'm convinced it's an investment in my long-term health as I always feel so much better afterwards. And while I have walked in for a massage at busy times and had to wait, what else do you expect when something is in high demand? I don't fault them for that. I had a 30 minute foot massage which was just rubbing my leg repeatedly and not really getting into my feet. I thought, off day, ok. It includes a 30-minute reflexology foot and leg massage and a 30-minute chair massage for your back and neck. I would recommend this service. I try to go during the weekday because it gets busy after work hours and on the weekends. I can walk in and never have to wait. Everyone here is relatively intuitive; however, one therapist applies too much pressure, but I just let him know that it's too hard, and he listens. They are affordable and deserve five stars. I just paid $42 to get beat up. This reminded me of a massage I got at a women's prison in north Thailand (don't ask...) Is it brutal? Yes. Do these people know EXACTLY how to massage your foot to make your worries melt away? also yes. Trust me, you might want to ask them to stop, but bear through it and your feet will feel so much better afterwards. It is Eastern medicine at its finest. The chair massage was an entirely different experience. That I would give 1 star if I could. I am covered in bruised and it was ineffective at actually massaging me, instead it was just a lot of pressure on random pressure points that just plain hurt. I've been going here for quite some time - about 6 times. It's inexpensive and I tried most of the combination massages. I highly recommend Combination 4 - 40 min full body + 30 min foot. It has the most value. For other options that are either shorter or not for the table full body massage, they seem to have to rush through it. I agree that it is either a HIT or MISS with the other options. Perhaps they put the most experienced people on full body or you can TRY and ask specifically for a strong massage. Beware that the staff don't speak English well so you can't ask for any customization in the massage options - Just answer whatever is on the price sheet. Furthermore, if one has never been to an Asian massage before, note that the chair and feet are done out in the open. BRING SOME HEADPHONES if you wish to cancel out any converstaions going on around you but I don't mind, everyone still speaks softy in Chinese. The full back is within a private room. For the value, I don't mind to continue to go, but I long for one closer to my home in Buda, TX or a space where it's a bit less crowded. They're getting more business lately. Tip something. If you don't like this style of massage, understand that this is how it is in Asia. They rubbed your feet for a living. I don't know how they do it but they always gets the knots out of my neck and upper shoulders and I like it how they don't go soft on me and beat up on me even though I'm a girl. Whenever I go to a "spa," the therapists are more hesitant to give me a really deep massage. Also, this place is super cheap. $12 for a 15 minute chair massage? Hell yes.
