A friend suggested this place as I've been recovering from massive surgery and my body has been in interesting positions to keep me as comfortable as I can get. A new frills Asian style maSsagae parlor with a variety of affordable services in this economy okay. The front door is hilarious declaring NO HAPPY ENDINGS. We were greeted kindly. I looked over a variety of services. I opted for the $45 1 hour which 20 minute feet, 20 minute neck and shoulders and 20 minute back. I don't recall the gentleman's name I had and he was brilliant: lead me into the public room (private services are extra) and had my feet soaking in warm water. I recommend wearing a tank top and shorts. Loose fitting and comfortable. This was such a nice treat and really a beautiful way to support my body in its healing process. Staff is very friendly and efficient. You definitely need to advocate for the intensity that you want during massages. I am pretty sensitive and like them very soft, but the massage therapist here are very strong and are used to people being able to handle their strength. I was referred to this place by my hairstylist and everyone in her shop RAVED about their foot massages! These poor ladies are on their feet all day and apparently the foot massages are FANTASTIC but I got a full body massage on this day. I just walked in, so I don't think appointments are necessary unless there's a really busy day. There were 2 beds in the room I was in, so couples massage would be very easy to accommodate. I feel like, for the price, it was a good massage. It's a standard, Thai one-size-fits-all massage, with little to no talking with the massage therapist before, during or after the massage - so no target issues were worked on. If you want a relaxing massage, this is great (although there was a not of slapping for blood flow, I assume.) :) If you have tight areas you want worked on, maybe not. read more

I actually considered if I wanted to write this review or not so people wouldn't find out about how great this place is. $45-$55 for a fully body massage is just beyond amazing. This place is great. I came here yesterday with my aunt and they were super friendly. I got the deluxe 1hour massage, it was $45 + my choice of a $15 tip. It started with a head massage, then upper shoulders and arms, then feet/legs then back. I was honestly very apprehensive about my massage because it was the first time being massaged by a man, but honestly, it was really nice, and I was comfortable. I didn't catch his name but he had glasses. The massage room was nice and dark and had pleasant music playing. There were about 10-12 beds in the same room which was new to me but also no big deal it turns out. The prices are fair and the service is great. I would definitely recommend this place :) read more

My husband and I stopped in here for our date day. We filled out the required forms and headed back to our massage therapist. I had a female who delivered my foot massage. The massage was a 10-minute foot soak with the rest of the time focused on my lower legs and feet. The room was set up in an open area with about 10 or so recliners/beds. This is a similar set up from my experience minus having the recliners flat. For the foot massage, you have your feet placed in a 5-gallon bucket. It was slightly awkward with the position but nothing horrible. Afterward, the therapist will take the bucket away and use the recliner foot stool for your legs and feet for the rest of the message. My therapist overall was just okay with her technique. She seemed to have a cold because she was sniffling a lot which was slightly distracting. My husband had the combo massage which was a foot massage with also a neck/face massage. He said his therapist overall did a fairly good job despite smelling a little like a smoker. Overall, the price is decent. I would come back again but hopefully, get another massage therapist. One strange thing after the massage, they put your socks back on. He applies the perfect amount of pressure and almost reminds me of Thai massage. I Went in for one hour table massage. I Got the new guy "John". He did a great job! I usually call an hour ahead although walk in business is usual. This time I got the VIFEET package for discounted fees. I always feel so much better afterwards. Last time I got Ella to work on me, she's great, also! This is not an all service, therapeutic spa. This is an affordable, to the point, no English speaking massage place. Point to where you need a massage and they will throw elbows, knuckles, everything into that spot. I get a chair massage here at least once a month because unfortunately I carry my stress on my shoulders. I get the same guy every time and I swear he has a passion for making sure his customer leaves knot free. He pops my back, neck, and digs his elbow deep into my shoulders until the stress is released. I am so grateful i found this place! What a gem !!!! Don't come in here expecting a eucalyptus shower, come here to get your pain released. My mother and I went ot FR on Sunday for the $35 deluxe massages (15 foot soak 15 upper, 15 min back, 30 min reflexology) Here a the reasons for the 2 star review: 1. the receptionist: when my mother and I went on Sunday, the receptionist was pretty blase and not super helpful. For instance, she could have mentioned that we should be quiet entering the next door. Then as we are leaving, she asked if I had tipped my masseuse in a somewhat accusatory manner. Knowing that I would be getting a massage that day, I had an assortment of bills to tip the masseuse in cash which I did before exiting the massage room. Here's my problem with the receptionist asking me: Totally none of her business, and very annoying, given how blase she had been about checking me and my mother in. All of a sudden she cares about something? Secondly, it is on their website that tips are at the customer's discretion so there is no reason why the receptionist should be trying to shake me down or shame me. Especially since I had already tipped my masseuse. It would be one thing if she'd asked in a helpful way but it definitely was not. 2. the vibe: I thought it would be more like a nail salon but it's like a cross between a nail salon and a massage room: everyone is on their own beds but all in one room but it's dark and somewhat quiet in there 3. the set-up: there should be a big sign on the door that says "entering quiet space". I just figured there was another hallway or waiting room or airlock between the front lobby and the massage room 4. the chairs/beds: I found it very uncomfortable to have my feet in a bucket at a 90 degree angle from my body and the bucket was too small for my feet so my toes were curled weirdly. It put pressure on my low back in a very uncomfortable way and it was awkward to even ask if I could take my feet out of the bucket. And the water wasn't even warm or swirling. It was a bucket the size of a medium floor pot with room temperature water in in. 5. the quiet: it's quiet enough that it is awkward to talk to your tech and also quiet enough to hear other people snoring, farting, sniffling, and coughing. All the coughing and sniffling was starting to gross me out after a while since it is just a big open room 6. the massage: I kept having to remind myself that massage works whether you believe it does or not. My tech seemed to be in a rush, like she was trying to do an hour service in 50 minutes. It was the first time I'd ever had a jack-rabbit massage. At some point though, she seemed to find the pace and it got better. It's a more Eastern massage so feeling like you're been beaten up is is part of the charm. I guess I just prefer being beaten up more slowly? I could tell she had really worked hard, especially on my back, so I did give her a $10 tip as I was not sure how well or often they get tips and I wanted to give it to her in cash as I was also not sure if they tip-pooled on the card tips since they basically treat you like cattle at the check-in. When you get a pedicure, you write your name down next to the tech and you both sign, no such documentation here... Is FR for you? It is great if actually booking a massage is hard for you since it is walk-ins. However, it is just the luck of the draw on who you get. It's cheaper than typical massages because you are giving up the privacy of a 1:1 massage and potentially catching airborne illnesses from your fellow customers. If you do go, be sure to wear clothes that they can get under with their hands and that you don't mind getting rumpled and leave the jewelry at home. read more

An adult male gave me my massage felt good but he must have smoked recently bc I could smell the cigarette on his hand during the facial enough though you can tell he washed his hands a few times. Former massage therapist, reviewing by far the shittiest massage . I went for a massage a week ago Tuesday. I wanted to feel relaxed and to get rid of some soreness post work out. I called ahead and requested a female therapist for 2 hours deep tissue Swedish massage. I get into the room around 6:15, and the therapist (a male) walks in after 6:30. His nails were so long I was repeated pinched, and had scratches all over my body. He repeatedly touched my outer labia, when I yelled at him to stop, he said "ok fine" While face down he pulled my buttocks up and apart- no therapeutic value to that, he intentionally wanted to see my genitalia and got a full view. A woman walked into the room and argued with the man for about 3 minuets in which the massage stopped, my exposed body was shown to whoever was in the hall. The massage also ended early- by 8:15. The therapist hit my face face as he was finishing and said "oh sorry" then just walked out. I laid in the table and cried, got dressed and called the policewoman file a report on sexual assault. At footy Rooty they had signs posted that said, "no happy endings, no exceptions" but this man had other ideas. There is no therapeutic value to touching or viewing a persons genitalia while reviving massage. That is sexual assault. Not only was my request for a female therapist not respected as a woman working through PTSD/ trauma I'm angry. The point of a massage is to relax feel renewed to heal parts of the body. None of that happened for me. I was more tense walking out, than when I went in. Please save your self the anger and emotions, do not go to Footy Rooty. read more

My first experience going to an asian foot massage place. I have to say it was one of the best massages I've had. I typically go to Massage envy and my therapist here was better than a lot of the ones at message envy. This place isn't for everyone. The communication is very limited. They don't ask what your pressure preference is and are on the firm side, which I like. Also do it few techniques that I haven't experience at other places. Different but felt great and my therapist hit all the sore spots. You share a large room with other customers but the place was clean, very quiet and relaxing. For 35 dollars, I got a foot, upper back and reflexology massage. You can't beat a 35 dollars massage for full 60 minutes massage at any fancy spas. Highly recommend but might not be for everyone.
