I discovered TL Foot Spa completely by accident while driving down William Cannon in the middle of moving hell between apartments. My entire body hurt, I needed relief STAT, and their sign caught my attention. I looked them up online, loved the prices and the fact that I could book an appointment online, and decided to give them a shot. For my first visit, I booked the 20-minute chair massage + 40-minute foot massage combo. Both were good and my appointment started right on time. I did find it a little bizarre to have a towel placed over my eyes for the entire foot massage, but I suppose I can survive being off my phone for 40 minutes. Overall, a really good first experience, especially for the price. I went back a few days later for a 30-minute chair massage and OH MY WORD. So. Good. My shoulders and back were absolutely wrecked from moving and this was exactly what I needed. The second visit did have some hiccups, though. I had booked online several hours in advance, but when I arrived, both of their chair massage chairs (there are only two) had been given to walk-ins. I ended up waiting almost 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. They offered to switch me to a body massage for the same price, but that wasn't what I had booked or wanted, and they seemed a little annoyed when I declined. Once my chair massage finally started, there were also several interruptions while the employees were speaking pretty angrily to each other. At one point I actually poked my head up because I wasn't sure what was happening or whether I should just leave. Whatever was going on eventually settled down enough for my massage to continue, and apparently my massage therapist decided to channel ALL of that energy directly into my shoulders and back because GOOD LORD. In the absolute best way. He worked out so many of the knots from moving that I could have happily stayed in that chair for several more hours. One thing worth knowing before you go: as several other reviewers have mentioned, the language barrier can be pretty significant. Communication beyond things like "strong," "light" and "thank you" can be difficult. It's certainly workable, but it made some of the confusion during my second visit harder to navigate. The online payment process is also a little unusual. When you book online, you pay the full cost of the service upfront as your "deposit." After the massage, you enter your tip separately as a new sale while they bypass the normal tip screen. It was confusing the first time, especially combined with the communication barrier, but now that I understand how their system works, it'll be much easier next time. And there WILL be a next time. Overall, TL Foot Spa offers really good massages at very reasonable prices, and I definitely plan to go back. Now that I understand some of their processes and quirks, I know more of what to expect. The appointment delay, communication challenges and somewhat chaotic second visit are what keep me from giving five stars, but the actual massages have been excellent and my moving-destroyed shoulders are very grateful I happened to drive past that sign. read more

It is a deeper tissue massage but really perfect when you need to loosen up fast. The technician was very professional and use the perfect amount of pressure. I've just recently been introduced to Grace, and seriously... the second-best massage of my life. I always go for the combo massage (body + foot), and like an angel, she even included a walk-on-the-back massage as a bonus. WARNING: I typically call to book our appointments, but this time I used the online system after seeing availability and requested Grace and another female therapist. A few hours later, I received a call from the receptionist saying the time wasn't actually open and she wasn't sure why it appeared that way. Mistakes happen. I rescheduled and 20 minutes before the appointment, the receptionist informed me the appointment would be with two male therapists instead... NOTE: The reflexologists don't speak much English. If you have specific requests, don't be surprised if they're not fulfilled... they'll try but there's a major language barrier. read more

This is a SCAM!!! Do not waste your money here! We bought a Groupon for a 60-minute foot massage with sea salt and reflexology that was advertised as $140 then discounted 47% Off for $74.70. The in-store price for a basic foot massage was only $60 so Groupon was not a deal but a scam. When we confronted the desk clerk (who had to communicate to us via Google Translate), she told us "that platform (Groupon) has nothing to do with us". On top of that, before the foot massage even began, we were upsold by the female "masseuse" who charged us an additional $15 for a foot scrub that I typically don't even get charged for when I get a pedicure. However, we paid the $15. While I don't blame the employees, I am almost certain that something fishy is going on with the management. They have been reported to the BBB. Consider yourself forewarned. To be specific the $15 salt scrub was not a big deal. The reason for the one star review is the discrepancy and pricing between the store menu pricing and what is on Groupon. Shame on you for not being honest. read more

My massage was pretty good and it was very affordable. The place was new and clean but not a spa experience. More like getting a massage in the back of a nail salon ambiance. No water or hot tea at the end. No soothing music or salt rocks to rest your feet on. I did not try the foot part because I thought they were offering massages of your feet not massages with their feet. It wasn't until I came in and saw the bars on the ceiling that I understood the foot part of TL Foot Spa. In other words, they offer the Thai style massage where they use their feet to deliver the massage to provide added pressure. I didn't like that they asked three times if I wanted extra time. I think they should just explain at the beginning that this is always an option. I did like that I didn't have a twenty page document to fill out when I got there. I had a thoroughly relaxing experience at TL Foot Spa. I was greeted politely at the front desk and led to the dimly lit, aesthetically pleasing massage room. Slow, soothing music played in the background. My 50 minute massage appointment included hot stone and cupping treatment. The masseuse applied even pressure and checked with me to ensure that it wasn't too much at every step. However, she didn't speak much English so there was a bit of communication issue where she had to fetch the lady at the front desk when I asked for reducing the pressure during cupping. The oil included with the massage appointment is very basic, without fragrance but there are options to add a fragrant oil treatment like eucalyptus, lavender, etc for additional $10. This is a decent place of you are looking for a massage on a budget, without the bells and whistles of a spa. read more

We visited for our wedding anniversary as a midday couple's experience soon after they opened. We did call ahead and make a loose reservation - which they were flexible in adjusting when needed. The facilities were clean, therapists were ready to go as soon as we got there, and given we were the only folks there late morning, it was a nice relaxing experience. I stumbled upon TL Foot Spa and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem. I believe they just opened earlier this year. The interior is new, clean, and quiet. It's the nicest reflexology/foot spa place I've ever visited, and the quality of the services are top notch. Their prices are pretty much the same as the competitors too. I opted for the 60 minute full body and foot massage. My massage therapist, Ling Ling, went to work and she consistently checked that the pressure was good. She did a great job! Even the towels they use feel high quality. Overall 10/10 experience, I'll be visiting again soon. I would recommend bringing cash for tips if possible. :) read more

I decided to get a massage on a whim today and I'm SO glad I decided to stop here! I got the 20 minute chair + 40 minute foot massage combo and it was INCREDIBLE! It included a face and scalp massage as well. The place is dimly lit and it has relaxing music playing softly in the background. Everything is very clean, and none of the scents are too strong. The man that did my massage was super professional, always made sure the towels were where they were supposed to be.
