This is our favorite local spot for a massage! I have been twice now and I can't wait to go back. I get the combo foot/back massage. I got a different woman each time and they were both great. They actually take the time to massage and use true reflexology. I went in with back pain and left totally relaxed. It starts in a side room, sometimes with other ppl, in reclining chairs with your feet in hot water. After soaking, they dry them and massage. They then move you to a private room and you undress to your comfort level. You'll be in the same room as your partner. They then complete the back, neck and arms portion of the massage. read more

I love this place. If you like a super firm massage this is for you! I am a teacher and every teacher should get a massage during their winter break!! I love the room where they give you a foot massage. It's dark and cozy. Make sure you wear sweatpants/pants that can be rolled up over your knee. They do a full foot massage and also end with a calf massage. This place is efficient. As soon as I walked in, someone greeted me. I chose a foot massage and chair massage and was promptly escorted to the quiet room. I had barely gotten my shoes off when someone carried a warm bucket off water to soak my feet. After my amazing foot/leg massage I got a chair massage. I have not gotten a massage in quite some time so needless to say my muscles were tight. A 30 minute foot and 30 minute chair massage was 60 bucks. It was well worth the $1 a minute!! He did such a good job, I dropped him a 20 dollar tip!! Drop in and give this place a try! Went in and asked for the 30min foot reflexology from the gent who came running up there. He said and indicated "two minutes". It was less than that when several women came rushing out of a private area. The foot soak was about 2-4 mins in tepid maybe even cool water. Then a woman came in and pulled my feet out and sort of dropped them on the ottoman and pushed it to the chair. Finally, a woman appeared after another 2-3 minutes and sat down looking less than enthusiastic. She was barely understandable when she asked me what I wanted. I made out foot and said yes. It was barely adequate. However, she leaned against the wall like someone who would rather have been anywhere than there. She seemed annoyed. Kept looking around. Her pressure was light and not therapeutic. Someone was making a loud banging noise in the lobby and there was lots of talking. Very noisy environment. Finally she stopped. Then motioned for me to come out. I was disappointed as I had saved money for a little while to be able to afford that underwhelming experience. I took my money to the front and she asked me how much I was paying for a tip. (She could say THAT word and make it understandable. Which is a little funny.) Anyway, the man then came and said,"you told me you wanted the 30 minutes foot and 30 minute back". I said, "no...I know that I said 30 minutes foot reflexology because that is all the money I have available." He scowled. It was a very unpleasant experience. I went in the early part of the day too. I would not recommend. The customer service is not good. The woman I had did not seem appreciative to have a job. They attempted a bait and switch. And they demanded a tip. AND it was noisy. Clean, courteous service. Fair priced. Unlike most reflexology spots, they don't have credit card fees - which is nice! Recliner chairs with plenty of pillows and towels for your comfort. Massage itself was decent. Deeper pressure. A lot of reflexology places advertise foot massages but typically lay down and they almost do your whole body. I usually go here and enjoy the massages, however the last time I was in a man was snorting and grunting very loudly. It was gross and disgusting. He was very close to the rest of the customers. He seems to be a regular so you think they might ask him to go into a private space. I was trying to relax and all I could hear was his heavy breathing and snorts. I've been coming to this massage place for a few years and it's always been great. The prices are very reasonable and totally worth it. I went in again today and had the most amazing deep tissue massage by Hunter. I got the combo reflexology followed by a massage. I was so tight and way overdue for a good massage and got one. I was greeted and given a bottle of water. Then ushered in to a comfy lazy boy type chair under dim lighting and given a foot soak. He gave me a therapeutic foot massage and then after 30 minutes we went to a private massage room for the table massage. I feel so much better. Nice place, convenient location near me! The four stars is because the website and the price list out front BOTH clearly show $60 for the price. If I hadn't specifically asked, I would not have known that the price is ACTUALLY $76 for a hour. A very fair price, but this isn't clear advertising. My #1 place to go for massages! I always fall asleep in the middle of my massages because they're so relaxing. I've come for years and only had 1 less than positive experience where it felt like the guy was literally trying to pull my skin off my body. Every other time has been perfect. On a side note, this is the most honest spa in town. I lost/left an extremely sentimental piece of jewelry for almost a year, but never thought to ask about it even though I had visited dozens of times after I lost it. One day I started thinking about where it had gone and re-traced my steps from memory. So the next time I'm there I ask the clerk if a long time ago they found anything and I describe it. They open the lost and found drawer and there is my watch that I lost...still there after a year!!! You guys are awesome! read more

I receive massage weekly. It was my first time at Relax Sun Spa. I requested a 30 foot massage. They took me to a quiet room with two other clients and therapist. Then my therapist starts massaging feet and she did not wanna be there. The phone rang and she jumped up. Someone came in and she jumped up. There was a whole bunch of talk yelling in another language back and forth between all the therapist. Then a man started answering the phone but instead of taking the call somewhere else he came in the room and was yelling on the phone. My therapist snapped her neck at least 6 times to look at the clock. She could barely make it one minute before looking at the clock. Yes it's only been one minute lady. I should have stopped the massage because it was not good or relaxing. I won't return. Even though it is close to the house. read more

I chose the 40 minute foot massage. I was shorted on time and most of the massage was on my lower legs with the same repetitive movement on the same spot for way too many minutes.... I would have had a great experience if the full 40 minutes was used and if my feet were more of the focus of my FOOT massage. I was very confused when it ended. Reflexology is not what I received. I wish I could put more stars. I am grateful for how my ankles and leg circulation feels but it just felt like my feet were almost being avoided during a foot massage. Always a great stress relief; foot or chair massage. Have been multiple times and will continue to enjoy their services. Only suggestion I have would be to prohibit customers from using their cell phones without ear buds or headphones. If you can't avoid your phone for a half hour don't be so inconsiderate that you force others to listen to whatever is so interesting. read more

I went in because I was having trouble moving my head and thought a quick chair massage would be my first line of attack. Not really a "spa" ambiance, nor would I call what was done to me "relaxing," but it was damn effective. I will be returning for another quick fix! I'd read the reviews and it was more peaceful than I expected. I was greeted and when presented with the menu indicated I wanted the 20-minute chair massage. The chair massages are done in a room with (potentially) others, but light music was playing (unnoticeable really), and it was dim, so that was nice. I sat down and my masseuse came out, adjusted the chair, and dug right in. (You sit leaning forward onto the back of a padded chair; your face goes in a soft donut like a typical massage table.) I was in the chair getting a massage in less than a minute from walking in; they aren't messing around. He did place a light towel over my back; the only time he made contact with my skin was my arms and hands, and very top part of my neck (they do your whole back and also arms/hands). I was very comfortable from the start. Well, comfortable meaning it was very professional, but the massage itself was very deep. There were few times I did some jaw clenching and deliberate breathing, knowing if I just counted slowly to ten it would be over, ha. I suppose I could have said something but I was sore/tight as hell and the guy was hitting all the right spots. Upon conclusion he did some stretching too. I was sore to the touch the next day; that said, I felt instantly better walking out of there, and even more awesome the next day. Big fan. I've gone back several times since my initial visit, always for a 20-min chair massage. I've had different people each time, with slightly different technique, but consistently good. read more

Very disappointed. The techs talked and laughed the whole time that we were getting a massage. Barely paid attention to actually giving a massage. My tech just kept going in a circle on my foot. I would of thought that they could at least watched a YouTube video on how to massage a foot. I'm seriously wondering if there is any training or a license. It was HORRIBLE. They also have gone up on their prices but lack service. Do not go here for foot massages. It's suppose to be "relax."Not listen to someone's loud and obnoxious conversation. SO disappointed that we had a bad experience tonight. This is the SECOND time I have been shorted on time by this place. (See my previous review) It's just not acceptable in this line of business when you are literally paying by the minute. Since I was also shorted almost 10 minutes by them a month ago, I looked at the clock carefully when they began what was supposed to be a 40 minute massage for my boyfriend and myself. Noted the time. Then they ended 10 minutes early, after only 30 minutes. I told them we would pay for 30 minutes since that's what we got and they tried to argue with me about the time they started. It was not a pleasant or relaxing experience. I also was not willing to argue; I know what happened. They finally admitted they shorted us 5 minutes, and took of TWO whole dollars. Then they were angry and rude when we didn't tip. I'm most upset about the fact that I really want to remain a customer here but I can't do it with people who are dishonest. The first time I was willing to let it slide ... I even gave them 4 stars. But this time, no way. I'm not paying for a service I didn't receive. I also don't recommend ever going in past 8pm. Our whole massage was rushed and we didn't even get to soak our feet in the hot water before our foot reflexology. So sad they choose to run their business this way. What a comedy of errors! - I made an appt on Thurs for Friday at 12. She didn't ask for my name but I forced it on her anyways. I signed up for Combo 2 which is a 30 min foot massage and 30 min table massage - I show up Friday at 12 and they seem befuddled. Part one of my service (30 min foot massage) started 25 mins after my appt. Time - The foot massage was good, no complaints other than the late start. - Then I got moved to a chair. Wait, what? I signed up for a bed massage not a chair massage! It was a horrible experience based on the employees screaming angrily at one another right over the top of my head. Been going here for years. Usually the massages are good. Stay away from the chair unless you like being battered and assaulted. The reason im writing this on to warn new customers that several employees here will just talk on their phone or to each other at full volume while giving you a massage. Today i left angry, not relaxed. We have mentioned to said staff several times about the loud constant conversation. I will not be returning. Im kinda bummed about it honestly. For me, it is the seating that makes this massage places different from the other ones like it. Most of the places I have been have a hard bench-bed like thing and your knees to feet hang off the end so your back ends up hurting. This place has recliner chairs and pillows that make it easy to find that perfect spot. I just had my 2nd table massage today and damn it hurt. It was nothing close to relaxing. I huffed and I cringed and I whimpered... I even had to tell the guy twice to ease up a bit. I felt bruised and sore but when I got up... I felt better than I have in months. My back is loose and my hips are good and my legs are not fatigued.... The foot massages are amazing too. I've had several here and the only problem I have is constantly waking myself up because I don't want to snore, lol. This place is definitely worth making regular trips to. read more

I feel they are affordable and I definitely plan to go again. The only thing that was kind of weird is there were like 5 employees kind of staring at me or suggesting something. Ummm, where has this been my whole life !! For real , I am in love , I have found the one !! After 3 weeks of moving and 6 months of plantar fasciitis plaguing my life , I have been looking for something like this and behold , this place is right my my house (both past and present)!! I'm so happy and relaxed. I called ahead and made an appt but ended up being an hour early and they took me right away. It was full of relaxing people so it looks like I hit it just right with only one chair left to fill. I wasn't greeted especially "friendly" but I will chalk it up to a possible language barrier. Anyhoo, I soaked my feet and got into full relaxation mode and the foot portion of my combo commenced. They have a menu to choose from upon entering that has combos for feet/hands or feet/chair massage etc. price point was pretty average for this sort of thing and honestly at places like this you get what you pay for so cheaper isn't always better . I got 40 min foot massage and 20 min chair and boy was every minute worth It!! Foot massage was a 4 star massage (my person answered her phone, which seemed odd with a sign clearly asking for everyone to silence their phones )but the chair massage was 5 star all the way... All the good reviews on here really made me have my hopes up for this place. First, the lady I had would use her elbows on me I left with my calves sore I had to tell her multiple times to stop using her elbows. Second they leave the door open while you're having a FULL BODY massage so that means you are naked with only underwear on, you're suppose to have privacy. As I was leaving I saw someone's butt while they received their massage walking pass leaving my own room makes me wonder how many people saw me! So from my review you can tell it wasn't the most pleasant experience here so I just tipped $5 even though I was very disappointed and the lady chuckled at me when she saw I was tipping that much like I'm so sorry I'm not happy leaving this place read more

If you want scented candles, peaceful music, and/or a conversation during your massage do not come here. Honesty: There are no scented candles. You do not have a choice of scents to add to the massage oil, this isn't Aveda. The music is actually annoying as it's on a loop every 1/2 hr. Oh and the massage therapists - if they are therapists - do not speak English. So now your asking why did you give them 4 stars?! Because they do their job and they do it well. If your back hurts. Like hurts. Go here and you will leave a new person. They find knots and aches I never even knew existed. The person I go to (I still don't even know her name) will stretch my back on top of the massage. She isn't afraid to kick my butt - sometimes even stand on it to get rid of a knot. I am a runner and I used to go to the chiropractor and a massage therapist all the time. No joke - All. The. Time. Now I'm down to 2 times a month. If you want a massage that works - without all the extras go here. Expect pain - the good kind. The kind you know things are happening. Again - fair warning, do not expect Aveda. I found this place around 2 weeks ago and only gotten chair massages. I've returned 3 times already because it is quick and really loosens me up . Im pretty tense person and under alot of stress and i feel really good after the massages. They give really good pressure.Really deep and stretching. They super attentive and friendly. Not what I was expecting when I walked in, it's decorated very nicely in an asian decor. I had a foot and back massage, both were great massages, and the price is very reasonable. I enjoy a pretty hard/deep massage and Linda wasn't afraid to dig in and use some force. Communication is a little difficult, they only speak a little english but they have a pretty thorough menu, so it's easy to point and get what you need. I can understand Amanda V's frustration, they don't have the same sense of customer care that we are accustomed to in the U.S. they are a little more "to the point" than a lot of people are expecting. I'd give this a solid 4/5 star massage. My boyfriend and I went in yesterday and both received 45 minute table massages. Mine was quite wonderful and very professional. My masseuse was methodical in her steps and progression of the massage. Started out slow, & massaged lightly all over my back, neck, and shoulders, noting areas that needed attention.. Once the massage really got going, she'd work on one side for a few minutes, and then switch to the other side giving equal attention. The 45 minutes included arms, hands, legs and feet, in addition to the back. The massage ended with a hot towel to clean off the oil that was used. Truthfully, mine was quite wonderful. Unfortunately, my boyfriend (who paid for us to be treated), said his experience was very mediocre. The masseuse didn't give his problem areas enough attention and didn't work both sides of his body evenly, overall lacking fluidity (luckily, I can't say this about the girl I had tho).. And he also said he kept getting choked right on his Adam's apple from this wooden part on the massage table. Not exactly relaxing.. Overall, price was right ($1 per minute), and this is probably a 'you get what you pay for' type of situation.
