Went to the Manteca location to return a pod I bought from Modesto. I live in Manteca happened to be in Modesto, so bought from that location. Could not get the pod to sync with my internet, and I later found my old pod. Tried to return this item to Manteca the same day hours later; the girl who helped me didn't know how to do the return, so I guess she asked the manager, who gave her an excuse. She then comes back to me and tells me I have to take the item back to Modesto, as their inventory will not recognize it. I asked her is Xfinity not Xfinity? I had my receipt and everything. Terrible service and even though I live in Manteca, I will go to Tracy or Modesto for service. Do not recommend this location. read more

I came here to return a modem after switching internet providers. I came in and there was no visual line to stand in, no check in area, no sign in list, just nothing. Every rep was busy with someone else so I just waited there until someone was free. No one greeted me once I walked in and no one spoke to me at all. I stood there for about 10-15 minutes waiting and more people came in. Like me, no one knew what to do but we all just stood there in the center of the store waiting and looking around. They have an employee named Jason who I give 5 stars ,he was kind and helpful. I had an issued for a bill that was more then 3 hundred dollars for moving. In the beginning of my account I was told that if I move I can transfer my service to a new address without extra fees but X canceled my account and I had to pay extra and start a new account. Xfinity has been charging us for Netflix for over a year even though we have told them we get it free from T-Mobile as part of their Veteran benefits for my husband. They said we had to call Netflix to resolve this. We did this several times, and they said we have only one account with them, the one through T-mobile. We have called Xfinity many times and visited the store on Daniels st. in Manteca and each time we were told they solved the issue, but we are still being charged $22.99 each month for a service we already have. They are a deceitful company that lie to make money from hard working people. Now if we don't pay the whole amount, they threaten to shut off our service. I guess our only recourse is to cancel their service and pursue legal action for all the months of Netflix that we didn't need. read more

I came to this store on Monday September 25, 2023 to activate my new iphone but somehow the sales representative and the manager got sneaky by setting up new seperate account for my wife and told me it would save us money. They explained that a Xfinity/Comcast home security technician would come over to the house to work on my existing home security system. On October 2, 2023 the Xfinity/Comcast home security technician explained to me that in order for my existing home security equipment such as the 3 cameras and the touch screen system have to be replaced or else it is not going to work on the new modem. I told him I don't want a new security system since the existing Home security system I have are still working. The Xfinity/Comcast technician told me that the Manteca Xfinity/Comcast store is not a Company store. Furthermore, the Xfinity/Comcast technician told me that it is owned privately and operated separately from the Company store and It is very sneaky on this kind of business practices. The Xfinity/Comcast home security technician told me that the Manteca Xfinity/Comcast store representatives and manager had done it to many other of their customers by opening up a new separate Xfinity/Comcast account to make and increase their sales but not to save money. He advised me that if I have a Xfinity/Comcast problem go to either Modesto or Tracy Xfinity/Comcast store. read more

No I don't recommend Xfinity to anybody. They have to many outages and don't tell anyone about the outages. I pay a monthly service for their service and I call them to get credit for outages. Every since I started getting credit they increased my payment. I have to call every month to straighten out my payment now they have me with a late payment and I have to call them or go down to the store and explain to them about the outages. It were in the area of 95337 area code. Their virtual service sucks and the billing department is so screwed up that my bill is up and down all around. Don't know where in the hell it's at. Plus I have to wait 45 minutes to almost 2 hours on the phone to talk to a live person. I recommend that everybody that has Xfinity to boycott or discontinue service with them and go with someone else. It is better to drive to Xfinity in Tracy or Modesto to avoid this store. The manager, TJ, messed up my mother's account and her land line. He set her up with two accounts. I reduced service to internet only. I went from $220 to $118 a mo. When I turned in equipment to this store, I was told the cost could be reduced to $75 a mo. for the same service (internet only), if I had another resident of the house change the plan into their name. The representative confirmed no contract and internet only. When it was time to sign the agreement, it showed additional services that I clearly stated that I did not want, and it showed a two year agreement. I stopped the process and stayed with the $118 a mo. Be careful at this store. They will state one thing and try to get you to sign for another thing. Not good. read more

I waited 30 minutes before an employee could help me. There were only 2 employees there and they were both busy... but never acknowledged me or the other customer waiting. Then, after waiting to pick up a modem, I was told they ran out of modems for the day. Also, there is no way to call the store to find out if they have modems in stock. It was a waste of my time and gas! If there were any other isp with reliable internet service in this area, I would drop xfinity immediately. And has xfinity told you within the last 3 months that you're exceeding the 1.2 Tb of data for the month? That's what I was told although my data usage hasn't changed at all.
