Mother hasn't had phone service for three days. A technician was supposed to come out on 9/9/2024, and it's now 5:55PM and no technician yet. i call the customer service and was told that there was no way to communicate with the technician. I asked to speak with a supervisor and wasn't granted this request but given the name of Gary Roberts. The representative said his name was John but hesitated when asked his last initial (probably made up) which was A. He said they were both located offshore. My mother is a senior in her late eighties and her life support is hooked up through the phone system. We have not been able to contact her since 9/6/2024. We have to call her on her cellphone. This last week of August, I have contacted frontier three times to come out and clean up the mess they left in my yard from hooking somebody up with Internet. The box happens to be in my yard. I originally called Tuesday to set up the appointment. Wednesday they didn't show up. Called Wednesday night they gave an excuse of the wrong address. Have an appointment for Thursday. They did not show up. Called and their excuse was the technician said he can't move the box. I didn't ask for the box to be moved. I asked for them to come out and clean up the mess of wires and open face utility box. Set up appointment for Friday. They never showed up on Friday. Very tired of calling them with their excuses and poor customer service. All I want is for them to come out and clean up their mess that's it. One of my friends has frontier and says their customer service is terrible and it took her five times to get a technician to come out and actually fix their equipment. I'm very glad I am not their customer, but unfortunate that their equipment happens to land on my property. You think they would come out because I made it very clear that it's a tripping hazard and also there are exposed wires. read more

Sadly some of the worse customer service I have ever had to deal with. My 80 year old mother moved in with me and needed to cancel her service. We called immediately and were told it would be done. Following month, new bill, cancellation had not been done. Called back, explained the person we spoke with missed the final step to cancel, but it would be cancelled now. Nope. Called back again, having to explain this story for the 5th time since you get transferred repeatedly. Was promised credits that would take care of the bogus charges AND the cancellation will finally happen. Still....nope. So after watching my poor mother receive "late" notices for a service she didn't have nor need and they almost cry about it, I paid the charges that she DID NOT incur in hopes that's it would finally be over. 5 months later now, I will see what the next bill reflects. They know I have frequent ( avg 2-3 an hour some days) disconnects caused somewhere between house and main trunk line at pole, but never gix it saying they can't fix intermittent because they have to be there at the time it disconnects which is too hard to do. I don't know who is in charge of the chaos but it's super disconnected throughout the organization. I only wish there were options where I live. Frontier must be the worst Internet providing company in North America. Their service always drops and when you call you get connected to the Philippines and the local service company never shows up for appointments either on time or not at all that's my experience so I really recommend if you possibly can get, any other Internet service avoid this company. when i had frontier it was less expensive, but way way way more trouble and infuriating. you cannot get a real human on the ohone in less than one hour. once you do,,, then you must jump thru all the hoops , to try to get your connection back. the equippment is vintage,, the help on the phone is out of this world. when i wanted to return my equippment,, i was given an address of the place where the trucks go,, and there is no customer door to return your( their) modem. please,,,, isnt lufe just hard enough?? think before you sign. these places seem to all be trained by,, the same company,, or left to teach themselves. when will we learn. read more

Tou L. Ly was amazing! Finally, frontier ran new underground fiber for us out here off Grantline rd an we are super stoked. Before fiber we had 9 mbps now we have 900 download speed an 700 upload speed (May have those switched) but Tou had to dig to the underground box where the boar operators installed the fiber an he pulled new fiber through our conduit (thank the lord we had existing conduit) he installed our new modem an got us set up! It was a hot day an he made it happen! We've had a lot of frontier guys out here but Tou was the best! Top notch service an made sure we were up an running on multiple devices. I tried to upgrade service, add a DVR and an additional box which puts more money in the company's pockets and three times I had to call customer service to find out where the boxes were. Jessica, Tanya, and then Nathan today. Totally incompetent customer service that can't place, track, or fulfill my request. if this service wasn't for my 92 year old mom who doesn't adapt to change, I would cancel everything from Frontier! I've had Frontier for 18 months now (lack of options). By far the worst internet, and jnternet provider ever. I run speedtest.net at least once a week and the fastest download speed I've ever gotten was 7mb. What makes it even sadder is Xfinity's line stops just a quarter mile from my house. read more
