At your store on State Street in Downtown Chicago, I was offered a $60 privacy screen protector, which I agreed to purchase. I have only had the screen protector replaced once, and for approximately two months now, I have been walking around with my phone screen completely damaged, cracked, and looking absolutely terrible. And I sincerely hope that the original screen of my phone has not been damaged in the process. What frustrates me the most, however, is the complete lack of care and customer service at the State Street location. The service is extremely slow, and when I am finally helped, I always receive the exact same answer: "We don't have the screen protector in the store. We'll have it next week." The following week, I get the same answer. The week after that, the exact same answer again. Eventually, one of the employees asked for all of my information and my address so they could ship the screen protector directly to my home. And to this day, I have received absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, I am still walking around with a severely damaged phone screen and a screen protector that should have been replaced months ago. How much longer is this going to continue? I am reaching my limit. If you are unable to resolve such a simple issue, I will pursue my legal rights and will also seriously consider switching to another carrier. Because, at this point, you are simply not delivering what you promised to provide to your customer. And let me make one thing very clear: if my phone's original screen has been damaged as a result of this situation, you will also be held responsible for the corresponding costs. I am completely fed up with this level of disregard and disrespect. I want my privacy screen protector issue resolved TODAY, or I want my money refunded, along with reasonable compensation for the time, inconvenience, and frustration this situation has caused me. Otherwise, I will take the appropriate legal action against your company. I have always been an exemplary customer. I pay on time, I keep my account on autopay, and I consistently fulfill all of my obligations. The absolute minimum I expect from a company of your size is respect, accountability, and for you to actually deliver what you sell to your customers. I sincerely hope this is the last time I ever have to complain about this issue.

Our prior property management company hired them to hook up our cameras, so it made sense to work with them again. They already knew their work. After a couple of times reaching out, someone reached back within about 24-48 hours and a tech came out. Very nice guy. Efficient. Professional. Willing to explain but I tried to stay out of his way. I like him! The problem is the camera he brought with him didn't work. He ended up with a lemon, so he had to order another one, which would take longer to fix. And four of our cameras went out due to a short, but he was able to fix that issue. When he came back with a "new" camera, that one wouldn't work either. I was extremely concerned with their suppliers by that point. But the tech, being the professional troubleshooter that he is, just took the new wiring from the new camera and put it on our old camera. Voila! It was just the wires that had some kind of water damage on them, but our old camera worked. However, they tried to bill us for their time setting up the broken camera, and I refused. It is not our fault that they got two broken cameras. They did agree to waive the labor on that one after I pointed out that it was not our fault that their suppliers messed up. But ever since then, including trying to get a new camera hooked up, it's been touch-and-go with trying to get them to install another camera or even get an appointment. We just get the general response that it's 2-3 weeks, SUPER VAGUE responses about the actual cameras they installed (I assume for repeat business because if they told us the exact camera, we could hire someone else) but oddly seem indifferent about being rehired. We ended up hiring another company to help us figure out which camera to order, ordered it ourselves and will have them install an additional one. While I like the tech and think he's efficient, the supplies and appointments have left much to be desired.

However some things to note:…read more-The internet can be knocked out during bad weather (snow storms, thunderstorms, etc) since it is delivered wirelessly to the building (at least in my building's case). -Reliability when weather isn't a factor is incredibly high in my experience compared to other ISPs. -Speed is awesome. My building is supported for 100mbps, but I usually get around 200-300mbps download speeds, and at least 200mbps upload speed at all times. Sometimes my upload or download will peak around 500mbps. -Their support staff really knows their stuff. It's not like calling another ISP's support where you get tier1 support who asks you do to the basic troubleshooting. The support staff you get when you first call is likely the person who will truly be able to fix your issue. I work in IT, and absolutely appreciate this. THAT SAID, their hold times when calling for support are usually pretty terrible. I've been on hold before (including last night) for 1+ hours and then the call gets disconnected for whatever reason. Their email/online support is pretty lackluster. No way of updating or creating tickets online short of emailing them. In my current case, I've emailed them in response to a ticket and they seem to ignore the email altogether. I'm now trying to call them to get the issue resolved. Overall, I'd give them an A- as a grade. If they could up their support, it'd be the best ISP out there.

Comcast damaged my electrical pipe on my property because they tied their comcast line to my property. I stopped by labor day weekend and noticed that my electric pipe had been ripped out off the wall. There was loose cables in my backyard and I could not even see where the line had connected in the alley. Had Comcast not connected their line to my pipe, it would still be attached to my building. That Tuesday I contacted Comcast to resolve the issue. The customer service agents were amazing and told me I should receive a couple within the next couple weeks. Unfortunately, that call never happened. The ticket was closed without any information on what happened. I proceeded to open two more ticket before I was told it should listed as a new connection but be a hazard repair which would only take three days to complete instead of two weeks. I still had not received a call from the people whom are responsible for making the repairs. Anna, Amy, Chantel, and Emily were all great 047361558 047418542 Er047483791 I was then told that it's not a hazard repair that it should be listed as a damage claim. I then waited another three days and spoke to a supervisor name Frank that promised to have the issue resolved and would called me directly if nothing happens. When I called back the following week, I found out there there was no ticket submitted for the repair. I then spoke to another supervisor name Jose that told me he find a way to place a service request so that it would not be listed as a new line. He promised he would talk to the repair crew to have the repairs made. I explained to him that the repair is only four screws that needed to be screwed back into my wall. Er047527705 Gregory Er077571246 Joseph When I followed back up I found that no new requests were made. I asked to speak to manager and then I was transferred to someone whom told me that they were Philippine or was in the Philippines. They would not let me speak to a manager, then hung up on me when they did not want to look up my Er service number. With Jose I thought that the will would be resolved, with Frank I could tell that he could careless. I then followed to place requests with Gregory and Joseph. Both said that the repairs would take less than an hour and will be completed. Joseph is looking into why not explanations were made as to why the tickets were closed, but I have yet to get a return call from anyone. In the pictures you can see that the bottom cable is the one that pulled the pipe out of the wall. The top of the pipe is still connected so you can tell that it was not anything that happened above it that cause it to come off. The repairs would be easy for a crew to do, there are four clamps with normal screws that can be drilled back in place. If Comcast had not attached their line to the pipe it would still be standing and I would not have to keep explaining the situation to 9 agents and 5 managers. Sincerely, Oscar Arroyo read more

OMG! Never get involved with this company! Their representatives will lie to your face. We told them we needed cable service for some months until we would be moving in several months. We were reluctant to sign the contract since it was for a one year contract. Like fools we believed the Comcast people on the phone when they told us we would be released from the contract if Comcast did not offer service at the new location we would be moving to. Turns out no Comcast service is offered at our new location. You guessed it. They will not release us from the additional 10 months on the contract. They lied to us and their management explained that Comcast cannot be held responsible for what their employees tell customers. The only thing that matters is what they tricked us into signing. I cannot tell you how poor this customer service is and what an awful experience it has been to do business with this company. We have never encountered anything like it. If I could have rated them with zero stars, I would have. "Caveat Emptor-Let the buyer beware". Now the public is aware! read more

Xfinity/Comcast is a criminal corporation. I'm not sure how much they have bribed the FCC to be able to be a monopoly, but they are. Because of that they treat their customers like garbage. I saw someone mention ATT as an option. Apparently they don't know that ATT broadband is owned by Comcast too? And Comcast has set it up so ATT offers top speeds of 6 mbps (might be able to check your email) for a ridiculous price, thereby eliminating them as an option. Comcast customer service is simply designed to run you in circles and waste your time until you give up and go away. The FCC should be investigated for whatever bribes they have obviously accepted to allow this. Comcast..... The perfect example of the corrupt corporation allowed to merge with and/or buy up the competition and become large enough to screw people and not care! read more

Horrible company to have to do business with, don't understand how they have a monopoly in certain areas. Used them when they were Chicago Cable and got rid of then because of their unscrupulous business ethics. Once again I was forced to use them because there are no other providers in my area, I thought maybe they changed. I have only had them for one week now and I already realize I made a mistake by signing up with them. I was lied to by their employee who wrote up my order, told I would get discounts which they now refuse to give me. I was better off not having internet and not having to deal with them. read more

Hey guys, guess who is sponsoring that NASCAR race downtown this summer? It's Xfinity!! And that is why they keep raising their rates and double billing. Yet another annoying traffic jam where businesses either close. It's bad enough you can't properly park your trucks over far enough, so EVERYONE IS FORCED TO STOP OR GO AROUND!! Terrible customer service. You spend more time on hold than speaking with anyone. Then when you get someone on the line they pass you to a different department to wait on hold for even longer. They canceled my appointment from 3-5p which I needed to leave work early for. No explanation and they didn't even notify me. When we checked out, the cashier asked us a bunch of questions about what we were buying and if we had any questions. We asked her about protecting devices from static electricity, and she didn't have a clue about anything beyond scanning purchases and pushing the extended warranty plans. If you have questions about items here, just ask one of the employees...not a cashier. Overall, this is a nice clean store. Don't expect to find everything you're looking for. But if you need basic accessories and gaming stuff, this place has all of that.

I paid approximately $200 to have my phone's screen repaired on Friday. The repair failed almost…read moreimmediately. Right after I got the phone back, the physical buttons were not pressing or functioning properly--an issue that did not exist before the repair. Shortly after that, the replacement display catastrophically failed: the screen became badly discolored with a large black/dead area across the upper portion, making the phone essentially unusable. When I returned to have this addressed under warranty, I was told a very minor scratch on the device was the cause and that the repair would not be covered. The physical condition of the phone does not show any major impact damage proportional to a complete display failure, and I have photographs documenting both the failure and the minor mark that was cited. My interactions with Andrew and Rick made this worse. Both were dismissive and unhelpful, and rather than addressing that a newly installed screen failed within days, the focus seemed to be on finding a reason to deny responsibility. I'm requesting a full refund and would not use this location again.
