This is by far the worst internet provider I have ever had in my life. The WiFi goes out for hours on end several times a month. They tell you it'll be fixed by a certain time, and then an hour after that time there's still no WiFi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This greatly affects me, as I work from home and have no data in my house to even ping off my phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So I have to go pay to use WiFi at a coffee shop, when I'm already paying for WiFi at home. When I went to confirm the order, the order would not process. I have always been disappointed by Xfinity service online as I have had hour ling waits and still not had my issue resolved. The office experience has been different as each time I go in I have a good customer service experience. The downside is I have had a 15 minute wait and have also had an hour long wait. Absolutely the worst. I have been trying to change my service from the Deluxe to the basic for over a month. It doesn't matter thus far, what I do, I am endlessly getting billed for the deluxe Xfinity service. I have been to the store numerous times to return equipment sent to me in error. I have requested my service be changed months ago. It is like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Presently I am still being billed for the deluxe service. I am not certain what to do at this point. If you have to deal with them, keep accurate records of all your transactions because they won't remember you or your payments, issues, etc. from one day to the next. Their are very nice employees there yet they seem powerless to get it done. I read in a previous review that the customer rep explained that the computer was the arbiter of the bill not the contract or the office. This may be the case, at this point I don't know how to change this if the local office can't deal with the corporate office ! read more

She didn't answer my questions and asked for a supervisor and she just cut me off. The second assistant was not very accommodating. Xfinity here in Boulder was more helpful than the standard phone line for xfinity, which is completely automated and offered no customer support. I was having trouble activating my internet and was able to schedule a technician appointment here. The wait was less than 10 minutes, so not too terrible considering august is a very busy month for move in. I'll say that Xfinity customer service is quite bad- as they don't give a direct phone line for the stores, and one associate explained to me that xfinity doesn't allow them to "waste time" answering customer calls. The employees here are more helpful than xfinity itself, so i would recommend coming here if you need help. read more

The Comcast xXfinity Store in Boulder on Baseline sucks moose Dick. I went in their not even a month ago. I went to change my cable plan and was told by a very helpful girl that I would a cable bill of about $105.00 a month for the next two years. Not even a month later I received the bill for the month of November and it was $40.00 more than what it was the previous month. I was fucking furious, I went to the store to see if I could rectify this. I was basically told no, this is what their computer says the bill is. So the contract that I was told I would have for the next two years didn't even exists. The word of the employees means nothing to, which translates to the word of Comcast means nothing. After struggling through all manner of xfinity shenanigans via the 800 number, I went to the physical service center thinking it would be a last resort akin to entering the inner ring of hell. But I'm here to tell you I was absolutely wrong!!! The people at the xfinity service center were able to accurately explain and quickly address all of my billing and cable box problems right away! Everyone who worked there was knowledgeable and competent and great to interact with. My cable works again (new box), misinformation via 800 number corrected, I can login to my account again, and I'm no longer being charged for extra cable boxes (something xfinity likes to sneak in, so check your bill). All in about 10 min! I was impressed by how well this service center functions and by the helpful and pleasant atmosphere. Efficient, effective, friendly-- As someone who appreciates these qualities greatly, it was a truly pleasurable experience! read more

I was given false information by the employee at the store. I wanted the rate that was being advertised online, which was $25/month for internet by itself. The employee said that with that rate I would be charged extra fees, making my total rate a lot higher. He sold me a package that he insisted would be lower than the price of internet alone. He told me that I qualified for a discount that I had to go online and sign up for. When I went online to apply for that discount, I did not qualify, therefore the rate he had given me was nearly double the amount I originally wanted to pay. I called up Xfinity that night, and the agent was able to switch me to the original plan that I had wanted. That's after you finally get through to an agent, which they make nearly impossible. Going to the store on Baseline in Boulder is an equally frustrating experience. They don't care. The store is fine from my limited experience. However, the actual service is s*** and so is the company. I went over my data cap of 1TB. Fine. They send you a browser popup telling you, but then they hose your connection so you have to restart the cable modem. I understand I went over. I understand I have to pay more. Don't kill the connection so I have to waste time restarting my equipment. BTW, a text message would be less problematic than sending a browser popup. That hosed my PS4 game on one popup occaision, since I couldnt close the popup. Also, two days ago, fieldtechs were working on a tap at the end of the street. Connections dropped periodically through the day. There are people that work from home and depend on the internet. Send a warning to customers ahead of maintenance like a text message or call. You run your network like amateurs and treat your customers like crap. My power company warns me when service will be interrupted. You need to warn your customers as well when you do maintenance!!! BTW, great job FCC giving these bastards more latitude on Net Neutrality. /s read more

My review is about the staff. Noone likes dealing with comcast but if you need fast internet for work/business unfortunately you don't have much choice. The staff here are poorly trained and gave me incorrect information, and even supposedly checked with a manager. (If there was actually a manager in the back room, they couldn't take the time out of their day to speak with me.) I would say come here only to return equipment and nothing else (Make sure they scan it in, and provide you with a receipt). If you have an issue with service your best bet is to get in touch with customer retention. Call 1-800-COMCAST and tell the voice system you are cancelling to reach them. They have more latitude to help you than any other group because their point is to keep you as a customer. Use that to your advantage if you are resolving even billing issues. I was switching from residential to business service at the same home office address. They tried to tell me I owed a full months service plus an early termination fee. But quite the opposite when you call customer retention. ETF was completely waived and they prorated the service back. Went from owing $250 to around $18. Quite the difference. So bottom line. Don't deal with these clowns, just threaten to cancel over the phone to get to people who can actually help you. read more

This is not directed at this particular store, but at the company and overall service. We've been customers for 1 week and have wasted hours online and on the phone trying to get things working as ordered. We ordered service on the phone, including a Cablecard to use in our Tivo system and that it would be mailed to us. When I picked up the equipment in the local store they gave me a cablebox, telling me that it was required. We waited a week for the cablecard to be delivered, contacting support twice, who confirmed that the card was on its way. After a painful hour on the phone yesterday, the support person told us that a card was never ordered, but they would send us one. We asked if there was somewhere that we could pick up a card, and 30 minutes later we had a card in hand. Why in the world would it take over an hour to get two questions answered? This morning we get up and all of the specialty channels are missing and my husband has been on the phone with support for more than two hours... I have never seen a business managed so poorly - would love to have another option! read more

Never again. Cancelled service when I moved. Paid final bill and closed account. Received a bill a month later, called and was told I have a zero balance on my account and ignore the bill. Another week goes by and I get an ebill as well telling me the amount due. I call AGAIN and am told by an agent that the bill is wrong, my account balance is zero, and he'll update my account. Super fun logging into my bank account this morning to see I was auto charged for this very bill! Since ending service, my account wouldn't let me log in to even take auto billing off. Xfinity will do anything to make you use their router and up charge you. My router was not working and the technician told me it was broken and would never work. He then proceeded to set up the Xfinity router ($15 a month while mine is free) and after setting it up I told him I would not want to use it because my router worked perfectly last year with this company. And so after he leaves and he's on the phone with Xfinity my router starts working after he promised me it was broken. Which tells me Xfinity forces you to use their router so you pay more, but once I said no he finally sent the proper signal to my router. read more
