Went in to cancel my home internet service, it was quick & easy and James was very nice!

The credit card I used to autopay Xfinity mobile was compromised . I went online (Xfinity site) to change my payment method. I tried multiple times to fix the issue. I tried later in the day. I tried multiple times at various intervals to correct the issue. I was at it for two days until I finally had to physically go to the Xfinity store. Really? Must be using a dumber than usual AI bot. Below is an image of the error message. Xfinity lost over 1.3 subscribers over the last three reported quarters. Now what do we think drove that mass departure? No service. No quality. No value. read more

Xfinity Store by Comcast - Error Msg from Xfinity for days - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Avoid at all costs, absolutely horrible. I got the wifi modem 25 days ago and needed the coax wire installed for it and scheduled an appointment. I took off work and they never showed up. This proceeded to happen 3 more times and they didn't show up for 4 total appointments, leaving me without any internet for a month that I paid for and they are refusing to refund me and said they may have to charge me if I cancel, even though I never once had internet. You are better off literally anywhere else. This company does not care about you or your time in the slightest. read more

Spent a good amount of time and money purchasing upgraded services yesterday, only not to receive all the equipment I needed to set up my new router. I had to drive all the way back to the store again to get my missing power cord after calling Xfinity to confirm I was in fact missing the cord I needed to even turn the device on. When I got to the store, the staff did not take accountability and instead blamed it on faulty packaging. Cmon guys. read more

Nice help replacing outdated components of service. Helped immediately, handed over new remotes to replace our old ones and gave us a printout on how to link to system. Not simple as we have not much experience with these upgrades. But we did get it up and running today. Looks like a better more modern system. We've always found the staff here helpful. I guess not everyone's does though but I'm not sure why. read more

The sales person, Locke Williams, was knowledgeable, kind, patient, skilled, and professional. He worked with two household transfers and 3 phone transfers. He walked us all through the process to completion. He easily established trust with us and that is a first with Xfinity. I am usually skeptical but he put us at ease. I hope you hire more like him! what a gem. read more

I know Xfinity gets mixed reviews for service. I have had some of the same frustrating encounters in the past as well. But yesterday's interactions with Locke Williams at the Baseline Boulder store were exceptional. He diagnosed my issues, provided expert advice, recommended cost-saving measures and followed up to make sure everything was working. How could you ask for more than that? He was a delight to work with and is certainly an asset to Xfinity. Thanks Locke. read more

Horrible horrible customer service. When one walks in, no recognition or notion of who gets served, when, how. Brandon the mgr... sassy and defensive when introduced to the idea that customers should be greeted w/ a sense of what awaits them. Classic xfin ineptitude They wanna sell ya... not service you. Go elsewhere read more

This is by far the worst internet provider I have ever had in my life. The WiFi goes out for hours on end several times a month. They tell you it'll be fixed by a certain time, and then an hour after that time there's still no WiFi. This greatly affects me, as I work from home and have no data in my house to even ping off my phone. So I have to go pay to use WiFi at a coffee shop, when I'm already paying for WiFi at home. I'm not sure if they're hiring Neanderthals to fix their network issues, but Xfinity is such a waste of money for crappy WiFi. read more

Review is based upon my experience with Xfinity in General (chat function, telephone calls and in-store experience). Given Mike Cavanagh recently shared in Q1 earnings call that " we're addressing current customer pain points and investing in go-to-market with a focus on pricing transparency and simplicity, a unified national approach and more products translating into more value for our customers." I feel like the experience I have had is not that of a unified product or that of value. I have had Comcast services at my residential address since 2016 uninterrupted. I am 37 years old. I'd like to give you 30 yers + more of my money. Why are you making this so tough? Your chat agents, twice, in writing, offered me a package at 132.77 + taxes. When I went to confirm the order, the order would not process. Your in person employee (Assistant Manager, Krista) and your phone agent (Ellie) both indicated that they no access to these offers and could not help. Both Krista and Ellie shared their perspective that they do not have the ability to interact with the Chat side of Comcast. Effectively, it seems the organization ringfences their communications ; presumably in some sort of Kafkaesque attempt to make the consumer's experience terrible. It feels like I am being accused of lying and gaslighted. Neither the phone agent nor the in-person employee had any interest in honoring the offer made. In fact, neither were willing to look at it. When I asked both Ellie and Krista what I could do, they referred me to the Chat. When I asked the Chat for help, they referred me to the phone service. It's a circle of terrible service. No one I spoke to had any interest in trying to help at all nor could they, from their own words, do anything about the Order. read more

The absolute worst internet I have ever had. It keeps disconnecting. I've been contacted by their overseas based advanced technical support team which says they have my service under constant observation. Uh...no. My internet goes down up to 10 times a day and they never seem to notice. It's all smoke and mirrors. Plus, I've waited like an idiot at home for their service tech to show up twice. Have they shown up during the window promised? NO! I've wasted four hours of my life for this terrible service. I'm f*&^ing done read more

If I could give less than one star I could. Their customer service is not very good. The internet goes out at times and they aren't very good at getting it back up or even answering questions about when it will be back up. read more

I went in to start new internet service. Clark was very warm and informative and walked me through my choices smartly. No pressure sales. It was a pleasant conversation in which he answered many questions and showed me all my relevant options. read more

I have always been disappointed by Xfinity service online as I have had hour ling waits and still not had my issue resolved. The office experience has been different as each time I go in I have a good customer service experience. The downside is I have had a 15 minute wait and have also had an hour long wait. I suggest trying to get in early as this seems to be a much better time to get your issue resolved. read more

This specific store. Someone is running a scam. They try to trick you into getting a service appointment so they can have a shady number call you and try to trick you out of your information. This store specifically stinks like a fish in the heating vent of an old Chevy. read more

Xfinity Store by Comcast - Xfinity - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Absolutely the worst. I have been trying to change my service from the Deluxe to the basic for over a month. It doesn't matter thus far, what I do, I am endlessly getting billed for the deluxe Xfinity service. I have been to the store numerous times to return equipment sent to me in error. I have requested my service be changed months ago. It is like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Presently I am still being billed for the deluxe service. I am not certain what to do at this point. If you have to deal with them, keep accurate records of all your transactions because they won't remember you or your payments, issues, etc. from one day to the next. Their are very nice employees there yet they seem powerless to get it done. I read in a previous review that the customer rep explained that the computer was the arbiter of the bill not the contract or the office. This may be the case, at this point I don't know how to change this if the local office can't deal with the corporate office ! read more

Teddy was awesome. Complete knowledge of the products and services and outstanding customer service. Highly recommended.

the quality of service after 21 years is horrible. When service is down for a half day and then again for a half day does this corporation. think. that customers deserve a rebate? NO. They overcharge. The service reps are rude and arrogant. One of the worst corporations in America read more

Customer service is not very good. I spent over an hour on the internet to move my service. I got two associates one wouldn't work with me over a couple of confusing directions. She didn't answer my questions and asked for a supervisor and she just cut me off. The second assistant was not very accommodating. He got frustrated as I m 76 and I had trouble following his answers. He just quit the chat. read more

Xfinity here in Boulder was more helpful than the standard phone line for xfinity, which is completely automated and offered no customer support. I was having trouble activating my internet and was able to schedule a technician appointment here. The wait was less than 10 minutes, so not too terrible considering august is a very busy month for move in. I'll say that Xfinity customer service is quite bad- as they don't give a direct phone line for the stores, and one associate explained to me that xfinity doesn't allow them to "waste time" answering customer calls. The employees here are more helpful than xfinity itself, so i would recommend coming here if you need help. read more

The Comcast xXfinity Store in Boulder on Baseline sucks moose Dick. I went in their not even a month ago. I went to change my cable plan and was told by a very helpful girl that I would a cable bill of about $105.00 a month for the next two years. Not even a month later I received the bill for the month of November and it was $40.00 more than what it was the previous month. I was fucking furious, I went to the store to see if I could rectify this. I was basically told no, this is what their computer says the bill is. So the contract that I was told I would have for the next two years didn't even exists. The word of the employees means nothing to, which translates to the word of Comcast means nothing. That's the way they treat there customers on top of the shitty service they already give us. FUCK YOU COMCAST ! read more

After struggling through all manner of xfinity shenanigans via the 800 number, I went to the physical service center thinking it would be a last resort akin to entering the inner ring of hell. But I'm here to tell you I was absolutely wrong!!! The people at the xfinity service center were able to accurately explain and quickly address all of my billing and cable box problems right away! Everyone who worked there was knowledgeable and competent and great to interact with. My cable works again (new box), misinformation via 800 number corrected, I can login to my account again, and I'm no longer being charged for extra cable boxes (something xfinity likes to sneak in, so check your bill). All in about 10 min! I was impressed by how well this service center functions and by the helpful and pleasant atmosphere. Efficient, effective, friendly-- As someone who appreciates these qualities greatly, it was a truly pleasurable experience! read more

I heard one of the salespeople here tell an old lady that the only option to have wifi installed in her home was to pay one of the highest Mbs subscriptions for 100$/month. It sounds like the people here will try to trick customers into paying as much as possible by taking advantage of their lack of tech skills. read more

I was given false information by the employee at the store. I wanted the rate that was being advertised online, which was $25/month for internet by itself. The employee said that with that rate I would be charged extra fees, making my total rate a lot higher. He sold me a package that he insisted would be lower than the price of internet alone. He told me that I qualified for a discount that I had to go online and sign up for. When I went online to apply for that discount, I did not qualify, therefore the rate he had given me was nearly double the amount I originally wanted to pay. I called up Xfinity that night, and the agent was able to switch me to the original plan that I had wanted. It did not have any additional fees that the employee at the store said I would be charged. read more

The store is fine from my limited experience. However, the actual service is s*** and so is the company. I went over my data cap of 1TB. Fine. They send you a browser popup telling you, but then they hose your connection so you have to restart the cable modem. I understand I went over. I understand I have to pay more. Don't kill the connection so I have to waste time restarting my equipment. BTW, a text message would be less problematic than sending a browser popup. That hosed my PS4 game on one popup occaision, since I couldnt close the popup. Also, two days ago, fieldtechs were working on a tap at the end of the street. Connections dropped periodically through the day. There are people that work from home and depend on the internet. Send a warning to customers ahead of maintenance like a text message or call. You run your network like amateurs and treat your customers like crap. My power company warns me when service will be interrupted. You need to warn your customers as well when you do maintenance!!! BTW, great job FCC giving these bastards more latitude on Net Neutrality. /s read more

Comcast/Xfinity is the worst company in existence. If you ever want to change anything on your account expect it to take hours of screaming on the phone with multiple agents who don't do anything. That's after you finally get through to an agent, which they make nearly impossible. Going to the store on Baseline in Boulder is an equally frustrating experience. They don't care. Do yourself a favor and find a different provider if you have the option. read more

Really friendly staff, super helpful and gave us a loaner router while we are waiting for our bought one to be able to turn on.

My review is about the staff. Noone likes dealing with comcast but if you need fast internet for work/business unfortunately you don't have much choice. The staff here are poorly trained and gave me incorrect information, and even supposedly checked with a manager. (If there was actually a manager in the back room, they couldn't take the time out of their day to speak with me.) I would say come here only to return equipment and nothing else (Make sure they scan it in, and provide you with a receipt). If you have an issue with service your best bet is to get in touch with customer retention. Call 1-800-COMCAST and tell the voice system you are cancelling to reach them. They have more latitude to help you than any other group because their point is to keep you as a customer. Use that to your advantage if you are resolving even billing issues. I was switching from residential to business service at the same home office address. They tried to tell me I owed a full months service plus an early termination fee. But quite the opposite when you call customer retention. ETF was completely waived and they prorated the service back. Went from owing $250 to around $18. Quite the difference. So bottom line. Don't deal with these clowns, just threaten to cancel over the phone to get to people who can actually help you. read more

This is not directed at this particular store, but at the company and overall service. We've been customers for 1 week and have wasted hours online and on the phone trying to get things working as ordered. We ordered service on the phone, including a Cablecard to use in our Tivo system and that it would be mailed to us. When I picked up the equipment in the local store they gave me a cablebox, telling me that it was required. We waited a week for the cablecard to be delivered, contacting support twice, who confirmed that the card was on its way. After a painful hour on the phone yesterday, the support person told us that a card was never ordered, but they would send us one. We asked if there was somewhere that we could pick up a card, and 30 minutes later we had a card in hand. Why in the world would it take over an hour to get two questions answered? This morning we get up and all of the specialty channels are missing and my husband has been on the phone with support for more than two hours... I have never seen a business managed so poorly - would love to have another option! read more

First guy I talked to to renew my contract gave me confusing extreme options, I was frustrated because another rep at the Westminster store told me a reasonable rate. I walked out with no contract dreading the process of calling and shopping around. Right when I walked out, I forgot I had another question so I walked back in and got set up with Peter who was such a pleasure to work with, everything he said made sense, he was super quick and helpful. THANK YOU PETER! And smh at the other guy. read more

I don't know how it's even possible for a company to suck so overwhelmingly at every aspect of its entire existence. From customer service to Internet performance, from account management to billing, from overpriced service to bait and switch contracts, to even their automated phone system which can't even get past "press 1", everything about this company is an unfathomable, unmitigated nightmare. Avoid at all costs! read more

Complete garbage. The worst internet ever with huge lag spikes. Spectrum is 100000000X better. Do not waste your money.

The worst internet service in boulder. Extremely expensive and it fails at least once a day. As a student who relies on internet to go to school this WiFi service is horrendous and will cut out when you need it the most. You won't even be able to get a hold of xfinity to help solve an issue. Take business somewhere else. read more

Never again. Cancelled service when I moved. Paid final bill and closed account. Received a bill a month later, called and was told I have a zero balance on my account and ignore the bill. Another week goes by and I get an ebill as well telling me the amount due. I call AGAIN and am told by an agent that the bill is wrong, my account balance is zero, and he'll update my account. Super fun logging into my bank account this morning to see I was auto charged for this very bill! Since ending service, my account wouldn't let me log in to even take auto billing off. So beyond frustrated and will now be on the phone with my bank to dispute the charge. AVOID! read more

While waiting 15 minutes for someone to help me, I could see 3 employees at a counter talking to one another. This was after I checked in with someone near one of the doors. Which was frustrating as all I needed was to drop off a modem that needed to be replaced. This should have taken a maximum of 3 minutes to accomplish. It was a disappointing experience. read more

I will never use Comcast again. Worst service ever. They make money by conning people. 1) They charged a $12 application fee on top of my internet bill 2) They gave me a cable box that I said I didn't need, since I don't even have a TV. They basically forced me to take it. They never told me it had to be returned, so I threw it away when I moved out. Now they are charging me $100 for "lost equipment" 3) When I called to explain my situation, the guy on the line was extremely rude. Please, friends, just spare yourselves the misery and use another service. read more

Even if you just want to drop off equipment to avoid being charged, you have to wait in a long line of people. Just have one person that scans in the equipment and moves that line along. Unfortunately, even when you are just dropping off equipment, they are pitching sales to you. All I wanted was to drop off equipment not change my plan. Awesome as always Xfinity. read more
