Five stars for StreamWise Solutions, and special recognition for Juan. I originally contacted StreamWise to install an outdoor OTA antenna for our home. I've been using OTA television for about 13 years and currently have five TVs, each with its own indoor antenna. That setup worked, but I wanted to finally move to a properly installed outdoor antenna that could serve the entire house. StreamWise absolutely delivered on that. The reception from the new outdoor antenna is outstanding. Channels that could be inconsistent with the indoor antennas are now coming in extremely well, and having one properly installed antenna serving the house is a much cleaner and better solution. But surprisingly, the OTA installation may not even be the most valuable thing StreamWise did for me. Our house already had RJ45/Ethernet connections installed in multiple rooms, but they were useless because the wiring and central panel was not complete / bad. I wanted to take advantage of those connections for years because I prefer hardwired internet for stationary devices rather than having everything competing over Wi-Fi. Juanito took the time to look at the existing wiring, understand what had been done in the house, troubleshoot the panel, and get the Ethernet connections functioning. And he explained the setup so I actually understand how to manage it going forward. That is the real game changer for me. We're a family of four with a lot of connected devices, multiple TVs, streaming, security cameras, and everything else on three floors! Until now, most of that depended heavily on Wi-Fi. With the existing Ethernet infrastructure finally working, I can hardwire TVs and other high-use stationary devices (work laptop) throughout the house and reserve Wi-Fi for the devices that actually need it. That should allow me to get much more out of the internet connection I already have rather than simply paying for increasingly higher bandwidth. It also gives me the flexibility to consider lower-cost internet plans and other ISPs because the home network itself is no longer the bottleneck. That is what impressed me most about Juanito. He didn't simply show up, install the antenna I requested and leave. He recognized another problem that was important to me, took the time to work through it, fixed it, and then helped me understand the solution. That kind of service is worth calling out. So if you're considering StreamWise for an OTA antenna, I can absolutely recommend them. The antenna installation and reception have been excellent. But in my case, getting the wired network throughout my house working properly may end up being even more valuable over the long term. This is not inexpensive work especially all the things I needed help with like my RJ45 fix so I spent the money to do it right. I expect my ROI to take a few years, if not in one year if I can get the right ISP and affordable plan soon. In short, excellent work by StreamWise and especially Juanito. This was one of those service calls where I ended up getting considerably more value than I expected. Highly recommended. p.s. once I get the new internet, start seeing the savings plan to look at other options as needed. A mesh system to increase any bandwidth dead spots, I find and possibly the Tablo concept. Most likely will give Streamwise that business. I need them to stick around. read more

Juan from Streamwise Solutionsdid an excellent job in the installation of Tablo TV and updating 5 television sets in our home

Friendly and professional service at a fair price. Happy to cut the cord with their help.

I had an excellent experience with Juan, who installed ethernet wiring in my home. Juan was professional, experienced, and very knowledgeable in his field. He walked me through his approach, answering questions and explaining the decision making as he went. The quality of the work is excellent, and every connection was tested and running smoothly before he wrapped up for the day. I highly recommend StreamWise and Juan, the work was neat, professional, and well executed. read more

Oh my gosh, whatever you do Buyer beware, this company is such a scam. By the time the highly recommended best guy on staff - gets to my house - it is really too late to even troubleshoot anyones issues, as it was just about 4:30PM. As I was told all day by text that he's running late but he will be there when finishing a job. All of us our told we can't give you an estimate on anything but we charge by the hour & minutes as it took 35 minutes for the Tech to even get a semi diagnosis so there was not much time left to really fix my issues, as he kept stating over & over. I was charged 447.00 to get my tv programming coordinated with my Tivo, Blue Ray, & my TV & to check my attic antenna. The worse thing about it is as My husband gets home from work about 1hour later and he said it wasn't even working right. I have to leave the room to get my husbands things in order & dinner. I then was told while no longer watching closely & righting down all to remember as not shown what he did to confirm with me but instead he was ready to leave but first the bill & he claimed everything is in working order. When I was told how much - I about fell over. So here it is next day as I had a dental appointment and by the time I sat down to check his work- it was Just As Messed Up as before he worked on it. For One complete hour of time to fix all those issues to really be fixed -WOULDN'T ANYONE feel buyers remorse for one hour of work plus 30 minutes of diagnostic work with a job that you find out in no way should I have been coaxed into this. But when the BAIT & SWITCH IS SET AND DONE- YOU BECOME A VICTIM EVERY TIME. As a consumer- we are all exposed to companies that try to sell you something that will be so great & done so well and on completion you are severely overcharged for SOMETHING UNDONE & UNDERGOOD. I am sorry to have to leave this berating review - but I truly hope that a retired grandmother that has survived a traumatic several years of breast cancer-has to be the one victim THAT WILL SPEAK OUT, THANK YOU FOR READING THIS VERY LONG REVIEW, good luck in your endeavors. read more

Streamwise just "cut the Xfinity cord" for us and Juan, the technician, did a fantastic job of dismantling Xfinity and installing YouTube TV and Frndly Tv. We didn't really lose any important channels. My wife and I are in are upper 70's and found the technology very easy to understand and use. We estimate our annual savings will be $1,200 to $1,450. Streamwise is well worth the installation cost. Bye bye Xfinity! read more

We have a tall 4 story townhouse and Wi-Fi signal would not work well even with a 3 point mesh. I called StreamWise and they provided me an estimate: $149 base + $99 per hour + $29 for switch if needed. The technician was very nice and professional. It really only took an hour to rewire and add a switch. Now the mesh shows a wired connection. Should have done this sooner! read more

StreamWise Solutions (formerly FreeTVee) helped me with a setup to cut the cord back in 2020. I got a rooftop aerial, Fire TV Recast, two Fire Sticks and a Deco Mesh Wifi system installed which has paid for it self multiple times over. Paying up front to save a bucketload of money in the longer term has been so liberating! I have spoken with both Bruce and Brian, their co-CEOs, on more than one occasion. They are always willing to help and offer their advice; when do you get to talk to the founders of a company so easily in today's world? These guys are insanely passionate about saving YOU money, and it's so refreshing! I now have better Internet connectivity, freedom and flexibility to choose the package and streaming bundles that I want, and faith that they'll keep me updated on what's changing in the industry so that I can make educated decisions on whether upgrading works for me or not. No Sales pressure. Just support. If you haven't yet, give StreamWise Solutions a call and see how they can help you; you won't regret it! read more

I decided to cut the cord several years ago and foolishly thought I could install an outdoor antenna and do the wiring. What a mistake. For several years, I have suffered with poor TV reception. Yesterday StreamWire Solutions came by and installed a new antenna and fixed my wiring. I now have perfect reception on all TV sets and I'm very happy. Juan was extremely professional and knowledgeable with everything he did. I heartedly recommend this company. read more

We have had a great experience with StreamWise with cutting the cord. We did this back in 2020 and have saved so much money. Additionally, we have paid for their yearly service program and are extremely happy with that. Today I had an issue with one tv in the house. Clinton called and it was resolved in a matter of minutes! He was kind, patient, and a joy to work with. He also offered some suggestions to help keep our service working flawlessly. He wasn't trying to sell anything at all, he was just being honest and helpful. I really appreciated that! read more

In general, I was happy with the service provided. I was looking for an antenna installation that would provide access to the four major networks, Fox, CBS, ABC, and NBC. I think that Brian may have oversold my ability to receive these networks over the phone, after checking my address, which I understood to be a guarantee after our conversation and it would just depend on the type of antenna I needed. As it turned out, I am in a pretty mountainous area and even with the upgraded antenna they installed, I probably get two network channels, three at the most. But the reception is much better than the antenna I used to have, and it is nice to get some free channels over the air (close to 50 in fact). Brian was also helpful in explaining some other options I have for increased channel reception down the road. If you are looking for free TV over the air, Brian and his tech Juan offer a valuable service for this. read more

I want to thank you for your quick response to my email. There are so many businesses that are dishonest and just want your money and could care less about a customer's concerns. You have my business when I need anything for my over the air TV needs. I have no problem paying for bills that are fair and agreed on. Your work is exceptional, and your workers make sure everything is working correctly and cleanup after they're done without unsightly antennas on the roof and loose wires hanging everywhere. Again, thank you. read more

We are moving our business home in a few months and needed upgraded Internet service. In addition, we wanted to "cut the cord" and stop paying Xfinity for a lot of channels we never watch. We engaged Streamwise and couldn't be happier with the results. Our technician Juan was outstanding in every way, patient, knowledgeable, and excellent to work with. The cost was not insignificant but will pay for itself in 6 months of reduced Xfinity charges. AND, with the new hardware our download speed is routinely 350 Mbps or better and the wireless signal covers our entire 2300-sf house plus the 300-sf backyard office. StreamWise is a great company and I highly recommend them. read more

I have been wanting to 'cut the cord' for a long time now and I just wasn't sure because I was used to my DVR, and watching my shows around my schedule. For years with DirecTV, I primarliy watched only the local networks and was paying way too much. I found this company online, gave them a call, talked to Brian who was very helpful and I found out I could save money and still have DVR capability. Win / Win situation! I chose my equipment, and the installer Mario came out to my home and installed an antenna in our attic (no more ugly satellite dish on the side of my house), hooked up the TV's and showed me how to use everything. Why didin't I know about these guys sooner? Could've been saving this whole time *SMH* You can see from my other Yelp reviews that I often only leave reviews for places that I have a negative experience but I just wanted to give these guys Kudos and hope to spread the word. read more

Juan did a great job troubleshooting my home network issues. StreamWise's fees were on par for networking experts, they were fast and responsive, and they few upgraded hardware components needed were inexpensive and priced at market rates. $500.00 is a lot to pay, but I could no way have cut the cable without help. (Like most people, I am not savvy in matters of networking and WiFi.) However, I had no way of knowing the troubles I was about to experience and I will never be able to recoup the costs. I struggled for 6 months following installation, and ended up spending $630.00 in additional tech support and equipment before I was able to keep all my devices connected to the network. My original modem was insufficient to handle the load, and I had asked if I needed to purchase new equipment on the initial installation visit. All my trouble and frustration could have been avoided if I had only been told that I needed a new modem/router, which I ended up buying anyway. I sent a message to Streamwise asking simply if someone could connect and install my new modem and router, but that message was disregarded and I had to find someone else to help me. I posted a review, and within 1 hour, was contacted by Brian, the company owner. He apologized and offered to buy back the extender that I had been sold. However, I had since given the pucks away and am truing to retrieve them. So much money and trouble, just to get streaming. I will never recoup the money in my lifetime. I am sad that it took a negative review to get the attention I deserve as a paying customer. As a senior, however, I also understand completely that "customer service" today is not what I had been accustomed to in my lifetime. Brian did seem sincere in his apology and offered to be there for me in the future, so I upped the number of stars from 1 to 3, which is the most I can do given the cost and trouble I have had to experience. If you use this company, my advice is to make sure your modem is sufficient to handle all your devices with the added one of streaming to a TV. read more

Setting up an internet streaming service isn't that difficult, but doing it right does take time to get the right system. Plus, there is always something that doesn't go right, which then takes several hours trying to figure out. StreamWise is a huge time saver and leaves you confident the switch was done right, and your streaming services are the right ones for you. StreamWise provided the initial consulting service to make sure we had the ideal streaming service for our needs. They made sure we had the enough internet speed to run system and improved our in-house coverage. They set the streaming service up on two TVs and set system to work perfectly with one remote on each TV that also controls the sound bars. But StreamWise can also help in other areas - we have a hard-wired and cable system in our house, but prior owners disabled. StreamWise fixed the system so we could use again. Could I have done all this myself, yes - but it would have taken me time to set all this up and I never would have been confident it was ideal. Happy to pay an expert to save my time and have it done right. There services are a great value. read more

Brian is fantastic and the service he provides is just as good! I used him to help build a custom home theater PC (HTPC). I still haven't cut the cord completely and do have some basic cable channels. Brian built the computer in just a couple days after asking me exactly what I was looking for. The computer was shipped out and delivered quickly. He included a TV tuner card that didn't quite work with my system. I contacted him about and he worked quickly to suggest a new one and refunded the price difference. Once I received the computer, he was available at all times to walk me through all the features. I've never waited more than a day for him to respond. I've had the computer for 4 months now and watching TV on this thing is fantastic. I've looked at SmartTV's, but nothing compares to what Brian was able to do for a fraction of the price. read more

If you are tired of paying the ever-changing and ever-increasing cable bills, please call the folks at FreeTVee. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I called Brian. His installer Mario came out and installed an antenna in our attic and we have the basic channels we want with perfect HD quality. We also got the DVR service as well as internet service. Everything has worked so well! The only service we add is Sling on occasion which can be turned on and off anytime. Basically, when Sling is turned off, we get our basic free channels and anything we want via Amazon Prime. No monthly cable bill. My only regret is that we did not call Brian and team sooner! Thank you so much FreeTVee!!! We literally are saving over $100 per month. read more

My Husband and I found Brian from FreeTVEE at the home and garden show, we had just cancelled a cable company that was charging us $90+ . Boy, I'm glad we found him!!! Brian is VERY Professional, assesses your needs and does not talk you into something you do not want or need! we have had it for a month and love it! we got the DVR component so we can record shows and pretty much use my TV as a computer too. the antenna is low profile and Colorado weather does not affect it (as with some of the cable antennas). I have contacted Brian a couple times after the installation for some questions/guidance and he responds right away. Highly recommend him and FreeTVEE. read more

I love freeTV. It is exactly what Brian says it is. I was paying about $100 a month for Comcast and DirectTV . Brian was able to set me up on an Antenna and computers hooked up to my TV's so I don't pay anything other than Netflix which I was already doing. So I have a better system and I don't pay a monthly fee. I tend to not watch anything live but record whatever I want and skip the commercials. I grab a lot of stuff from network TV and movies and TV series from Netflix. He also set up pictures and music so the system is very simple to use. Brian is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. I highly recommend you talk to him for any questions. read more

Our Journey towards Cord-Cutting/NO MORE CABLE! (Sorry for the long post, but I love saving money and beating the 'system' so wanted to share how we did it)! For a couple of years I've been wanting to get out from under the high and ever-increasing prices of cable TV. We had a triple bundling of services with Comcast for many years, but every 6-12 months the rates would go up - often a lot - and lengthy phone calls and negotiations would ensue to get the price down $20-30 - for another 6 months. Another thing that kept us with cable is our love of sports - all kinds of sports. Things have changed in the past few years, and numerous streaming services offer great sports packages (SlingTV, Directv now, etc..). But the complexity of setting up an antenna, some type of recording device, getting streaming services and figuring out how to set it all up and make it work together was a bit overwhelming. I'm pretty tech savvy, but this seemed like a pretty daunting task. Enter FreeTvee! (https://freetvee.com/)! I had heard about them from my brother, who'd seen a piece on them on Channel 7. I finally contacted them, and after talking through the options, scheduled them to come out and install an antenna, a TIVO, and get us all set with the new way to watch TV. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services. Their website is great - lists all their services and the prices; they have recommendations for TVs, routers, modems, etc.. Everyone we dealt with was great! Two of their awesome employees were at our house for 5 hours in December; set up a great HD antenna (climbing all around our attic:), a TIVO box, and got us educated on our new way to enjoy TV! There is an up-front investment (in our case about $800) but we started saving over $100/month right away! The GOOD - We watch TV more mindfully now - with 100s of cable channels it was easy to mindlessly scroll. The antenna brings in all the national networks and a lot more (they'll help you select which channels you want to have on the list), and the streaming services offer ESPN, HGTV, Food Nework, AMC, etc.., but it's a more select list and so you plan better what to watch. We've loved our TIVO for recording shows like Designated Survivor and Last Man Standing. We really like SlingTV for streaming the channels like ESPN and Food Network. SlingTV Orange is $25/month; you can cancel anytime, switch to SlingTV Blue (different group of channels), combine them, add various packages for $5/month (like a sports package that includes Pac12) that you also can cancel anytime. NO CONTRACTS! Many of the streaming services now also offer a 'Cloud DVR' service to record shows that are streamed! The Not So Good - Recording streamed TV does take some extra steps; it wasn't available at all until recently, so it's just going to get easier and more accessible. (Some channels on SlingTV have several episodes of certain shows to choose from, so recording isn't always necessary). You'll need to have a TIVO or similar device to have a on-screen 'guide' for the antenna channels. You do have to re-learn how you watch TV - not a big deal, but there is a bit of a learning curve. THE ROCKIES games are NOT streamed on any service! We have MLB TV (thanks to TMobile) but this was the biggest negative for us. However, I just figured out how to get around this with Overplay Smart DNS and now we can see all the Rockies games! Other Notes - after going with Freetvee I realized our wireless speed was very slow in some parts of the house; the TV in our basement wasn't even able to stream (though it is hooked to the antenna so we could watch network shows). So using some of the recommendations on Freetvee, I got a new modem, a new router, AND an 'Ooma' device to set up my own internet phone. Fast speeds throughout the house now! No more renting a sub-par modem/router from Comcast! And the phone bill is about $5/month for 911/taxes. The ONLY thing we now pay Comcast for is our Internet - and I got a 1-year deal for $49.95!! Our previous Comcast bill was over $200/month for the bundle! read more

Don't hesitate to call these guys. We lost half our ota channels. No return call from one business I contacted. Made an appointment with another who was a no call/ no show. I wanted to eliminate my $140/mo dish charge, so I contacted FreeTVEE. Brian communicated with me immediately, and we set an installation appointment for about a week out. On the appointed day, Bruce arrived on time, verified my signal strength, and installed my antennae. Because of the location of my home, and excellent line of sight to Lookout Mountain, he was able to locate the antennae where the dish was mounted, and tie into the existing cable. He ensured I was set up for two TiVo units - one upstairs, one downstairs. The final setup provides me with high def reception (really, a crystal clear picture quality - better than the Dish signal!). Plenty of "over-the-air" channels, plus content from Amazon Prime and Netflix. The TiVo remote is easy to use! I'm not going to miss anything, and my ROI on the installation cost will be 6 months, and all savings after that. Brian and Bruce are on their game - responsive, knowledgeable, courteous and kept to the quote exactly. We are very happy customers! Clete L. read more

Great company and service. Does it cost money up front? Yes it does. But then you pay $0 a month every month. I am typically skeptical about businesses I find online.
