Xfinity is the absolute worst. I had service in Issaquah and scheduled a move when we bought a new house. On move day, a tech showed up and said we did not have a line, but Comcast would bury one for us free of charge. So we waited a while and I called the terrible support line and after being transferred five times, got promised we would have service on 10/24. That day came and went and still no service. More phone calls, more waiting on hold, more getting transferred and was told between 8-10am we would have a tech and have service. Tech came out and said we don't have a line and it could be a while because of permitting. I'm not the biggest fan of government, but the City of Issaquah is pretty functional and responsive. Called the city and there are no permits associated with our residence. Don't blame the city! It's been over six weeks and a permit has not even been filed!!! I still cannot get a date for when we will have service and I have sank countless hours into this. read more

Usually when think Comcast it usually comes with a negative response. In March, I had to setup new service and was shopping around with other providers. When I walked into this particular location they offered me X1 at a good price. Also helped me out as certain things came up on my services. I been here about 2 times and from March till Sept and every time has been a great experience. Whether it be switching out my boxes or a faulty modem the guys here treated me well. The company has a monoploy on the industry, but this location kept me as a customer. Thanks guys. read more

This is the worst home security service ever. Please resort to other security service. We have been on the phone for 30 minutes due to false alarm. Full of 3rd parties. Calling to turn off the system. Apparently the monitoring center is a 3rd party service and cannot help. The direct customer service does not pick up the phone. They cannot dispatch a service team hence. They are running a shit show. Zero accountability for ripping off customers for a service you cannot get help with anyways. Their website showed my iPhone X from T-Mobile is compatible but that was a lie. After we moved our account from Tmobile, we found out that GSM devices are incompatible with their network. They wasted a few of our days after they figure it out. Now since we moved our numbers and bought couple of new phones, we are now stuck with them. They have done nothing to fix their mistakes. I went there to buy WiFi pods. And the person who took your name at the door so you can stand in line and wait to come in, laughed when I told her why I was there. She then told me they do not sell the pods in store now, this is after I was on the phone with customer service for Comcast for over 30 mins. They need be be trained in just plain manner to greet your customers and learn to say yes and please. I don't need a grunt,nod and a shake of the head for an answer. This is the worst Comcast retail location I've ever been to so far. Right as I walked in, I noticed everyone working there was busy chatting and laughing with each other. They were taking turns on who will be dealing with the next customer so the rest of the employees could play. The person we worked with didn't even make eye contact with me and started walking to the back waving his hand to let me know to follow him to his desk in the back. I tried being polite by saying thank you and also attempted to make small talks but the only reaction I got from him was robot like responses. I couldn't help but to think that he was wanting to get over with me so he could go back to kicking with his coworkers again. This isn't a playground!! read more

Speed is great. That's it. Set aside the shady business practices. Set aside the poor customer service. They recently implemented a limit on my service (after we had a deal) and then more than doubled my rate to remove that limit that didn't exist when I signed up. Imagine if you hired a mechanic to replace your transmission and he says he can do it for $1,000 (or whatever). Then, when you come to pick up your car, he says he's decided that even though the work was precisely what he thought it would be, he's decided to charge you $2,200. This... is Comcast. This... is XFINITY. They are terrible and I'd advise against doing business with a company with the low morality and quality we've all come to expect from Comcast. read more

Many issues with the internet service lately. Found the problem! If you have one of their built in wifi modem...the black tower with white lights on front - CHANGE IT! Go to any Comcast store and have it replaced with a Docsis 3.0(without the built in wifi) and request for a free wireless router that can be connected to that modem. It will fix your Internet issues...wifi going on and off, super slow Internet speed and short range wifi. They recently rolled out with an updated wifi modem that also has built in wifi but is only available to some at this time. For the meantime, get a regular Docsis 3.0 with external wifi router. Very slow internet 50MBPS!!!!???? Me and my husband got our own apartment, and decided to get comcast as our internet provider. The speeds that they were advertising were different depending on the mbps and price. We went with the 50 mbps + 10 channels which is $70 a month. Which is supposed to be REALLY fast. After two weeks we came back from our honeymoon and were getting ranging from 10-20 mbps!!! Even facebook wouldnt load ok. We waited for a week, still slow. I called them, after explaining the situation, he ran a few tests, updates, and it actually went up to 59 mbps! I was happy.......not for long though. A day later internet was not loading a single page, not even talking about watching movies. I waited a couple days and called them again very frustrated explaining the whole situation again, the tech support person checked the router again did a few tests, changed the channels and nothing worked so they said theyd have someone come in and replace the router. Which they did come and replaced it and again it was fast for only couple of hours and was back to its slow 20mbps! Now i was very mad called them again, explaining the whole situation again, and saying that nothing works, ive already paid for 2 months of internet that I cant even use! the guy over the phone did a modem test, was on the phone with my over an hour and had me do some things AGAIN, and then said, well at this point if its still slow there is nothing i can do, i need to transfer you to "higher customer support" I asked what is higher if this is the one i was transferred to in the first place, he said the digit to dial the phone number is different, so he transfers me, one minute later the phone disconnects. They hung up. AGAIN, I call directly to "that number" somebody connects right away, surprisingly. Different person this time, I explain the whole story AGAIN, and his answer was that we live in a condo where our neighbors kick off our signal which we cant get a strong connection, so we need to get our own router, and not use the comcast router, Halelujah! FINALLY i got some sort of answer. We're about to buy a new router/modem....and this is not even over......lets see how it goes. Hours and hours of my life wasted. Comcast is a disaster, and interacting with them in a store isn't any better than on the phone. You can't trust anything they say, and you need to expect all sorts of hidden charges and raised rates. For example, they sold me a "250Mbps" Internet service, but they didn't mention that is only the download speed. They cap uploads at 10Mbps. They also didn't mention the 1,024GB monthly usage cap. So paying more for faster service just means I can reach the undisclosed (until after I signed up) usage cap more quickly. Thanks a lot, Comcast! Also, they suckered me in with a $69.95/month price, then one month they suddenly jacked it up to $149.95/month. That's more than double. But they are still offering $69.95/month on their web site. When I called, they said that rate is only for new customers. As a loyal existing customer, I have to pay more than twice as much. Argh! Thankfully, Centurylink is supposedly rolling out gigabit service in my area, and 5G services are coming soon as well. I can't wait to be rid of Comcast for good! read more

I went to this store to transfer my internet to my new apartment. I asked for a lower price package and the guy who assisted me found a lower price package (though he hesitated a lot). Everything was fine until I found that instead of the lower price package, that guy put a higher price package in my account ($15 more per month). Be careful in what package they offer you. Once you get a package, downgrading it in Comcast is like pulling a teeth out. Ask for a confirmation receipt before you leave the store read more

Comcast is pretty much a necessary evil for us because we are too far away from CenturyLink's switch to get a fast connection. Misgivings about Comcast overall aside, the service I have received at their store in Factoria has always been good and the staff have been able to either solve my problems or answer my questions. The wait times have always been reasonable, they staff up the counters to meet the demand and have all the equipment on hand for exchange. They employees do a good job working around the systems they are given to use. read more

I needed a new cable modem. Rather than wait 3-7 business days to get one shipped, I decided to go to the Factoria store. I was told by the Comcast phone rep to expect it to be like the DMV - with a 45 minute wait. Uggh. So I go there at 2:30pm on a Wednesday in mid-December, and I am number 3 in line (type your name into a keypad and your name is called). Waited less than 5 minutes to get served, and another 5 minutes to get the modem. Activating the modem took a 15 minute phone call. The customer service rep told me not to bring back the old modem on Sunday if I wanted a receipt, because the line is around the block (they are only open for 4 hours apparently). But there is a drop-off so I can bring back anytime. On the downside I really wanted to play with the Xfinity 1 DVR but there were no remotes, the iPads that supposedly demoed the service were all locked, and there was no-one available to give me a demo. Apparently they are out of stock anyway, so I wasn't too bothered. read more

All the employees were great, personable, helpful, fun to do business with. After immense frustration from the other guys, I walked out a happy camper! I saw horrible reviews and was dreading a trip to the store to ask that my broken cable box be replaced. I was wonderfully surprised to be assisted quickly by Carl and the box was swapped out for an upgraded model easily. And it didn't stop there- Carl looked up our account and wrote out the details of how a different plan would save us money and give us more features. Good work, Xfinity! read more

Ok, So this was Tues 8/11/20....I went to this store to buy a charger since I screwed up my current one and was surprised that the store was completely empty and then was greeted by a young rep at the front door who asked me what she could do for me. Pleasantly I replied that I needed to purchase a charger and that I purchased by phone there. She then went on to say that they are no longer selling chargers at this store right now What!! A cable store that does not sell chargers???? She said that I could go to Target or Walmart. I looked inside the store and the other salespeople were just standing around shooting the breeze. I then asked what anyone who is curious would ask...Well, Why? Her response was....I don't know..we just arn't. I said well, when will you be? She said I don't know that either. But you can get one at Walmart or Target? Ok so clearly I was not going to get a charger "right now" at this store today it seemed. So I decided to take her advise and go to Walmart and to my surprise Walmart did not carry phone chargers!! Then off to Target and I was pretty livid at this point...Target did not have phone chargers for I-phones or they were out or something. I then drove to Fred Meyers which was a block from where I live and got what I needed. I only went to Xfinity because I purchased my phone there. Well I won't have to think twice when my Xfinity contract expires about renewing. Avoid this store like the virus...they will probably send you elsewhere anyway. I don't know...maybe there is some policy Xfinity has in place that says that you can't buy chargers separately but to me it is a lame one. Maybe they can't make any money on selling just the charger but is this any way to treat someone who has been a customer of Xfinity for 20 years?? read more

wish I could give ZERO stars. When I discovered that my mother was being charged for premium channels which she never, ever watched, I called Xfinity to cancel them. The woman I talked to said a term agreement would not apply, since she has been a customer for over ten years. Then, I find out that Xfinity has sent her an email warning her about a two year term agreement which charges her an UNDISCLOSED fee if she cancels. I called Xfinity again, took me over an hour, talked with two different people, both of whom blew me right off. And, refused to tell me what amount she would be charged upon cancellation. My mother is considering a move to assisted care, and does not need any extra expenses from some sleazy, lying cable thieves. read more

This is a review of the Bellevue Store service, not the quality of the internet. When I signed up for internet in store 3 month ago, I was told there is a promotion where I get a free Modem if I sign up for 24 months. I was assured in store by the rep that I will not get charged for the monthly modem rental fee. However, this charge showed up every single month on my bill. I wend to the store after I got my 1st bill. The rep said it was taken care of, it would not show up again. The 2nd month, it showed up again. I went to the store and talked to another rep. I was assured that it will be taken care of. I also called the phone customer service, the answer I got was " you signed up with the store, you need to contact them." Now, the 3rd bill, the charge is still there. I went to store again. This time a manager just came up to me and said "We never offered this promotion, never, ever." Wow... if this was the case, why don't you tell me the 1st time I was in here. His attitude was just insulting as if I was lying. $10 per month of rental fee isn't much, if I wasn't told I was getting a free modem in the beginning. I would have just bought my own. I am not planning to change provider for a few years. It would save a lot if I have my own. It took me 3 trips to NOT getting issue resolved but only to receive this insulting attitude. I should have just signed up over the phone or online. At least, there may be a voice recording and confirmation to support what you were offered. If you do need to go store to sign up for a service, make sure to have the rep write down what you were offered and sign with his name. read more

This is a review of the staff and store not Comcast as a company. The staff there were super friendly and professional. I walked in and was helped with my account within 5 minutes. I had an issue with being double billed for a modem. They fixed that issue and credited me back the months I was being charged for this phantom modem rental. At the same time, they notified me that my equipment was an older model and a newer DVR was available which they provided to me at no extra cost. Amazing group, highly recommend you get serviced there. read more

After many hit and miss experiences with Comcast, my husband and I went into the Factoria store with trepidation to talk about our service and discuss options. Jacob J. was our sales consultant and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He listened to our needs and didn't try to sell us things we didn't want. He did make recommendations on how to maximize service for our price point... We left very satisfied and more than fair. If Comcast was made up of professionals like Jacob, Comcast would be unbeatable. I highly recommend this location for your internet/cable/phone needs. read more
