Arthur arrived exactly on time and was an absolute delight to have in our home. He insisted on parking in guest parking rather than our driveway and even took his shoes off after I told him it wasn't necessary. Before getting out any of his tools, he carefully laid a blanket on the floor to protect it. Those little things made a wonderful first impression--and the rest of his work was just as thoughtful. He made sure the TV was working properly before he started, measured everything more than once before installing the mount above our fireplace, and made sure the placement was exactly right. Once the TV was installed, he walked me through the setup and made sure I knew how everything worked before he left. Arthur's work was impeccable, and he was professional, meticulous, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to have in the house. I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience and highly recommend TV Tech Pros!

Also had them replace the wood trim around the top of this zero clearance fireplace. It took about two weeks for the fabrication of the new stainless steel chase cover. This wasn't an easy install, 28' up on a 8/12 pitched roof. David, the project manager showed up with two workers and got the job done in about five hours. They did a great job, removed old chase and wood trim around the top, installed new chase, wood trim and painted all new material to match existing house color. I had three other chimney companies come out and give bids, none really seemed interested in doing this job, all were looking for masonry work or a bigger project. I would use this company again for any type of chimney repair work.

I reached out to the owner thinking that there is an issue with the install as it led to overloading the main breaker which is maintained by the HOA. The owner stopped by and claimed that the installation is correct. The problem is not with the installation as it's with the load and the breaker used. Texted him multiple times, he stopped replying to my text and I haven't heard back from him. HOA hired 3 other licensed electricians to diagnose the main breaker issue and all of them agreed that the load is above 100 with the 50 AMPs installed breaker and reported that back to HOA and now HOA is asking me to fix this and install a breaker with lower AMP. The owner doesn't stand behind his work.

Roger came promptly and timely for the scheduled morning appointment. Very cheery and nice, he had only begun to work a few minutes, when he let me know he was finished. My "dead" outlet was my own daft oversight of a related wall-switch connected to the respective outlet (alas, for as long as I have lived here, I have never use that switch and must have knocked it to "off" at some point... silly me). Roger thankfully waived any charge for the work-order and we both had a big laugh about it ;D. Thank you Galaxy Electric, when I have a real issue regarding my electric, I will be sure to call and/or recommend anyone needing your service! I thought about giving them a 1/5 because they did give me my money back relatively easily but at…read morethe end of the day this was just a horrible experience. Tl,dr: they wanted an insane amount of money to replace a water heater and also either misdiagnosed our condenser pump and/or (and I have no way to prove it or know for sure) intentionally disassembled it. We hired them to do some annual maintenance on our AC and heater as we bought a house with AC for the first time. We added on a water heater checkup to be on the safe side. The heater and AC maintenance cost $600 which seemed like a lot and in hindsight it was. The technician comes halfway through the inspection and grabs my wife from a work meeting she was on as she needs to see this "immediately". He says look your water heater had some corrosion on it, is 27 years old, and needs to be replaced immediately. We will do it for $6000 but we will give you 10% discount if we come tomorrow. That is an insane price for a water heater. Gas water heaters cost $700 to $1000 at Home Depot and they have to pull a permit and dispose of the old one. They take 3-4 hours to replace. So even if they spend $2000 on dump run, materials and permits, that is $1000 an hour you are paying. That is insane. Home Depot quoted me $2700 and another local plumber $3000. If a water heater goes out you will be out of hot water until it's fixed and it may leak, but my heater is in the garage. What's the worst that happens? Water comes out to my driveway? It was a hard sell to pressure us into paying an exorbitant fee for a replacement. Luckily my wife called me and we got second opinions. She felt like he treated her like the "dumb housewife" (despite that he pulled her out of an important work call) and left with a terrible feeling. It may not have been his intention but the results were the results. Secondly, and this part makes me angrier, he said our condenser pump was also broken and was just dripping down into a red bucket on the floor of the garage. When I later went and looked, the red bucket he was referring to was the reservoir that goes on the bottom of the pump. It's literally a PART OF THE PUMP. I did an experiment and the pump puts out 5 gallons of water every day during the summer. There is no way that reservoir was on the ground for more than a day without us noticing a ton of water on the ground. It seems so unlikely it was detached before the technician arrived but I have no proof. Finally, if he really was a good technician, wouldn't you say hey your reservoir is on the ground. Let me fix it for you or something? He said it was broken and needed to be repaired for another $600 (condenser pumps are $80). So either he misdiagnosed the problem, miscommunicated, or worst of all broke our pump on purpose. Me, an idiot, fixed the pump in about 10 minutes so I can't imagine what he was talking about. I have a picture from when I cleaned out our garage a week before and the reservoir is attached. I called and complained and it took another call and three days to hear back. When I talked to the manager about this he tried to make excuses for the guy like maybe he meant the pump was out of warranty or maybe the tabs to hold it up were broken. Instead of addressing the problem he continued gaslighting us rather than taking responsibility. As I said he did give me a full refund after offering to replace our fully functional condenser pump or offering a "discount". If you want to spend a ton of money on replacing your water heater or other home needs, this is the company to go with. They can probably fix a water heat super fast but it will cost you.
