I called Roger after 11 days of no heater, hot water, major appliances, and constant flickering lights. 2 other electricians had been there and were unable to fix. The previous electricians provided estimates and false claims of a faulty main breaker equaling $2000. I have never used Galexy Electric before. Roger came over the same day (3 hours after calling), and expressed concern about my situation. It took him 20 minutes to fix the main breaker, and told me i didn't need to pay him. Completely went out of there way to make me happy. Had them install bathroom fan up grade to fan/light/ sensor. They came back multiple times for different sensors to be installed and did not charge me a penny extra sensors they bought them selves or the extra time. It was kind of crazy actually. I even offered to pay for sensor and Roger said no I just want you happy. Want a very hard working, ethical, professional electrician that does and charges what they say, look no farther. We went with Galaxy Electric to do a full re-wire of our 80+ year old house including repositioning the electric panel and would highly recommend them! While the job was a bigger undertaking than we had anticipated, the crew who did the work was AWESOME made everything much more bearable! Fred and Clemente were so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They listened to our concerns and even came up with some creative solutions to ensure they did not need to do any cutting in some of the areas with more unique walls/structures to avoid damaging the area. They communicated daily to keep us posted on what they came across and what was upcoming. They re-wired all areas (including the outside), changed out every plug/switch, and installed new lights (and made recommendations along the way). Everything works perfectly! I needed to run a sub panel to my detached garage for my growing woodworking workshop + beer brewing hobby. We had just purchased our house a year earlier and it was in our original plans to expand the electrical footprint of the house. The house had a 200amp main breaker panel that looked to be 20-30 years old. The garage had a single 15amp circuit wired to the main breaker and tripped frequently when brewing or wood working. I contacted Galaxy Electric through the "Request a Quote" feature on Yelp and sent my request to four other companies at the same time. Galaxy responded first, within a couple hours. One other contractor replied, so the quoting process was on! Peter, the owner of Galaxy stopped by first, and immediately made an impression of personable and caring for the quality of his work. He kept saying he looks at jobs "as if it was his own house" as that helps him give the best service. My original plan wasn't as good as his plan, which was awesome cause he's the expert and his ideas would lead to a way better result. He provided me a quote later that same day. The other contractor came over two days later and quoted me just shy THREE TIMES as much for the same job. He also came up with his own plan, but it was overly engineered, expensive, and didn't suit my needs. He also tried to push financing on me even though I said I wasn't interested. When people do that they are looking to make money from the financing referral, so I knew his interested was not in the best service but the highest possible invoice. This was from a company that advertises on TV frequently. We had just been through a multi-company quoting process for our HVAC replacement (a 25 year old heat pump!) and boy I'll tell you the types of sales people they send to jack up pricing is unbelievable. Multi-quote for ALL your contracting projects, you'll learn the scumbags from the legit honest business folks. I don't think Galaxy undercharges, their invoice wasn't cheap, but it was very fair. This is more of a reflection of the other company that I came to feel were predatory and exploitive. So, I hired Peter. He sent his team over the next week (there was an opening in his schedule that I got the sense wasn't common, these are good contractors and I know they are in heavy demand). They came over and made quick work of back breaking work installing the conduit under an existing deck, installing the sub-panel, bonding to my gas line, and upgraded and replaced my old 20+ year old main panel. For one THIRD the price of the other company, and the quality was outstanding. What was remarkable was watching the electricians taking extra time to avoid any shortcuts that could get them to the next job quicker. They wanted quality, and they spent the extra time to achieve it. One more thing... his crew was personable and friendly like no other. My wife works from home, but when we hire contractors, I stay home just due to strangers being in the house. Even though Galaxy was there for two and a half days, I left her alone in the house with them for the second and third day with ZERO worries. Friendly, quick to answer stupid homeowner questions, zero complaining, no cussing, or stuff you find with other crews. Total professionals, but personable and kind as well. Now that I've found Galaxy, I will hire them for every electrical job I have from here on out, big or small. Pleasure doing business! read more

We needed to install a portable air conditioner to our master bedroom in one of the windows, and it called for a grounded 3 prong electrical outlet. In addition, we needed to install two more outlets in our dinning room. Galaxy Electric came by highly recommended to us, so we decided to give them a call. They were heavily booked, but managed to give us an appointment in three days, which worked great. Pete (owner) and Rasha came by exactly on time and suggested several options how to add an additional outlet on the second floor, without extensive drilling through the walls. Pete was kind, patient and knowledgeable, and he explained step-by step what needed to be done. The quote was very reasonable, less than we had expected, so we gave it a go. On the scheduled day, Rasha came with Marcus, another friendly crew member and they carry out the work professionally. My garbage disposer started leaking; so I called a plumber to take care of it. The fastest turnaround was going to be at least two weeks. Too long to deal with the wet mess under the sink! I decided to watch some how-to videos and change it out myself. Except.... the disposer was hardwired and complicated beyond belief! So, I called Galaxy Electric to add an outlet under the sink so I'd be able to change the disposer myself. Not only did the owner Pete come out himself the next day to put in the outlet, he changed out the disposer for me...and he did it all for a fair price! I put out the feelers on social media for a recommendation for an electrician and one of my friends had just used Galaxy for a fairly large project. He said he'd highly recommend them and gave me their contact info. I reached out to Pete, he asked me a few questions before giving me a quote (their quote was less than two other quotes I'd received) and setting me up with Zoran for an appointment the next day. Zoran sent me a text to go over the job and the appointment. Later that same day he said he would be finished with another job earlier and would be in the area if I wanted him to come by that night. This would be a huge benefit for me since I wouldn't have to get to work late the next morning. Zoran arrived at my house, was friendly, efficient and did great work. I cannot say enough good things about Galaxy Electric. They were recommended to me by a friend/realtor and he had personal and client experience with them. They did a complete rewire of my 1903 home, including a new electrical panel and new meter, plus installation of light fixtures throughout the house. The project was big (two-story plus basement, four bed one bath, 2000 square foot house). It cost $26k, but was well worth it. Pete (owner) and his crew were professional and easy to deal with.
