If you are looking for solar, do yourself a huge favor and get a bid from Bloom. Seriously, I had 4 bids before finding these guys. So glad I opted for just one more bid! Anders was great at answering all my questions. Since they were bid #5 I had plenty of them to ask. We did quite a bit of emailing with a few calls in between. He always got back to me the same day. Once my loan was approved they were on top of ordering ASAP to ensure my install would be completed well before June 30,2018. That was an important date for me and some of my bids were wishy washy on that. Bloom said No Problem! Installation was a breeze. These guys are efficient! They had everything laid out and organized in totes so everything runs smooth. I had 27 panels installed and they were done in a day and a half. Everything looks clean and finished. These guys are just plain good people. We have been having trouble with our self-installed system on our camper van. We called Blossom Solar a couple of weeks ago because we broke one of our MC4 connectors and were just trying to find somewhere locally we could buy them. Cole was so kind to give me pointers over the phone, recommend places we can find parts, and when replacing the broken connector didn't fix our issue, he offered to come out to help us on a Saturday morning, spending at least an hour going through our system troubleshooting it - and all of this on a system they didn't design or install, and all without charging me a dime! Because of the great federal (30%) and WA State (50%) rebate incentives, I was looking into getting solar panels for the house. I got four different price quotes from local solar companies. I decided to go with the company I felt the most comfortable with, a small "mom & pop" company called Bloom Solar. Not only did Bloom provide me the best priced quote but the sales manager Anders Alexander was very knowledgeable about what he was selling. He also designed the layout so there wasn't another person to deal with when determining my needs. Anders answered every question I had asked and there were many. I liked hearing about the pros and cons of such things like Tesla Powerwall other battery backup options, and micro-inverters. The sale was not pressured at all unlike some other companies. Being a smaller outfit, they don't have high overhead and order the product after you pay. The installation team was led by one of the owners, Cole Anderson. Him and his crew were great, professional, and very fast. Although they are located out in Everett, installing in Vancouver wasn't a problem. They started 3:30PM on Tuesday and finished up on Wednesday before 1PM. The 20 installed panels look beautiful. They crew was a good bunch of guys. Unrelated, but there was lost toddler walking around in the neighborhood crying. The guys took the time to help find the kid find his home. That just showed a lot of great character of the guys I hired. With all the rebate incentives, its basically a free system after 6 years for me and free electricity for quite awhile. read more

I had my smaller system (20 panels)installed in July. In august and September i had $0 for a power bill other than the $9 per month that Avista here in Spokane charges just to have a meter. I will have to see what happens the rest of the year compared with last years winter bill but so far, im very happy with the system. Im a realtor and have also built houses and flipped several doing a lot of the work myself. I have never seen a construction crew that was so organized and efficient. Nice install. Very clean. I cant think of anything that isnt perfect. I wish the outlet on the side of the shop worked anytime the sun was out but they told me that at the time of install. I highly recommend them. When my wife saw the information about how the state of WA was supporting the installation of solar panels and we were directed to Blossom Solar. They called us the next day and we said we were interested. Using google maps they looked at my house and were able to see how many panels would fit on my roof. With that information they were able to give me a good estimate of the installation. It was right on. Once I got the loan, the materials they set a date for install. When they arrived, on time, they unloaded all the materials and got ready. With in about 6 hours all the panels were installed, and all the other electrical equipment was installed. As this was a older house it only had one ground post. Two were needed and they added the second one. When the city of Marysville came to do the inspection it all went great.
