They developed a system design that fits our budget and provides the energy needed for all electrical needs for our home, including charging our two Tesla cars. The Powerwall battery provides energy when the sun goes down and provides a backup power supply in the event of a grid outage. We export our excess power to the grid, further reducing our utility bill and saving excess credits to be used in the winter months when the solar system will not produce as much power. We received our first utility bill since installing the system and saved over $200 (we only had to pay the $24 base charge)! In addition to the solar and battery system, we had them replace our maxed out 200-amp circuit breaker panel with a SPAN panel.
