One of the team members had to drive back for a ladder during the job. And both finished at 5pm 16 billable hours for a 5 runs vs 6 runs and paid full price. The worst part is I was under the impression that they (during booking and pre-install) would try their best to conceal wires, but the majority of wires ended up exposed and longer than necessary. Camera down to crawl space then back up exterior wall (next to downspout) through soffit vent into attic. Vs. camera up exterior wall into attic via soffit vent. I tried contacting the team to offer to pay more to have wires rerouted to no avail. The cameras work. I'm grateful for that.

Friends suggested going with one of those cheap $70/hour places but we wanted it done right and safe. I appreciate that when Scott had set up equipment comparisons for me that he is politely honest in his subjective assessments; this is not just better/worse judgments but how he describes the qualities of the music reproduction. And that Scott's subjective assessments dovetail closely with what I'm hearing as well. He seems to have a good sense of what his customers' listening preferences are & is good at providing equipment recommendations to match with those preferences. There were some issues connecting our thermostat to SmartThings. He didn't just dismiss me like most other people, who would simply tell me "sorry can't". Instead he contacted SmartThings and Trane customer service after several retries and spent quite a while troubleshooting with them. He eventually found out the root cause! He is the kind of person willing to solve your problems, not shrug them off! That's why we decided to ask him to also install our home theater system. He is the kind of person I like to work with, so why bother looking elsewhere? He is fast like a flash. He mounted the 70" TV for us almost all by himself. I came back next day of the installation which is still within 15 days of their so called return policy, they plainly refused to keep their promise of 15 day returns. I will never recommend anyone buying anything from either magnolia or best buy anymore. As magnolia is part of best buy at the end of the day. Though I truly appreciate the geek squads effort, they are probably of different genes than rest of the group.
