Here's why: I visited the Astound PO store two weeks ago and addressed my bill with a representative. We agreed upon a fair price point. Following, I received a bill statement from Astound highlighting an increase to $149.00 which was almost twice my previous bill and more than double the new price point agreed upon when I visited the Astound PO storefront. So ... I dropped in on SATURDAY, November 15 and met with Joey; he was working alone and there was a line literally out the door. He was gracious and timely with everyone one of us. This was impressive! When we spoke, he said he would get back to me on Monday for he needed to reun this by his supervisor or team. Today, MONDAY, the 17th, he called me with good news, the plan was reduced. And he demonstrated what he promised: 1. A call back 2. And follow through on the billing And I am happy to continue to be an Astound customer another year due to Joey's service.

When the problem was finally solved, Jay came back to set up my DIRECTV. DSI showed responsibility and attention to detail where my apartment simply did not. Their knowledge of their products was really impressive, and a truly good group of people as well. They had some music playing which had just amazing sound and a bunch of crazy high quality audio equipment. They ripped us off by selling us GOTW3 internet service. After signing up, GotW3 stopped delivering the service. More than 5,000 people were ripped off by GotW3, and South Hill continues to sell their service. GotW3 sold the service, stopped delivering, explained it would be fixed, strung their customers along saying if we got tired of waiting, they would do a full refund any time. When we did cancel, they refused any refund. We are starting a class action suit against gotW3 and will post the link here if you were ripped off too.

When I asked Travis (owner) to help, I was told that I am on my own and to call Centurylink. So the business view, is to take the commission earned from the sale, but not to support the customer. Buyer beware!! It appears that I will be forced to go back to Xfinity. I would never have switched if it wasn't for the internet cost reduction. Now it looks like I will be stuck paying even more for TV and internet.
