I recommend going to this AT&T store and avoiding the other one across the street. I've been to this location twice now and I really appreciate how friendly all of the associates are. They were very helpful and were able to help me to complete my iPhone upgrade in 10 minutes.

We did offer you the available options to the best of our ability due to the fact that you purchased the phone through Best Buy previously. We're sorry we couldn't find a resolution that worked for you but your experience in our store matters to us, and we'll work to make sure the next experience is better." Let me highlight a few facts: If the AT&T store associate (Tyler) checked my service plan (I provided my AT&T phone number) and informed me that I would still have to upgrade my plan to AT&T Unlimited (not just my phone) to qualify for the $300 trade-in program, I would have chosen not to participate. Instead I would have taken my phone back home and sold it on Craiglist (a lot of than $40 at that moment). Regardless of where I bought my new phone, I could have not trade-in my old phone at this store. On top of that, the receipt I was given had misleading information that led me to believe I had already completed my part for the trade-in promotion. I did suggest that I could call Best Buy so that Austin and Gerren could tell Best Buy associates about what Best Buy should do to resolve this issue, just exactly what they told me to tell Best Buy, yet they refused. If my experience in the store really matters to them, I do not understand how "asking you to leave the store" as their final words to me and then expecting the customer to disappear would fit this goal. I see no opportunity to have any next experience at this store, given the fact that I am even too scared to step in the store again.

Cascadelink - My typical speeds on the Gigabit offering from CascadeLink

Cascade was bought out over a year ago by Wave. I don't know what that means, but no one responds after 5pm on some days. If you leave a message after hours they don't return the call. I called the other evening and the line was forward to a number in area code 610 that would not take messages. We were told how great it would nbe to be sold to WAVE because of their greater resources. One would think that after a year they would at least have Wave respond to support. Another interesting thing. We had to enter all our account information from Cascade Link's invoices into the new system. Why do I need to transfer my account? Service is generally good, but if there is a problem, there is no one to respond outside of business hours. That is just not acceptable for an internet business!

The speed is great and was way faster and more consistent than Comcast. BUT all of that is negated by occasional shutdowns of internet where you can't even call customer support! Happened today and I'm sad to see this is a frequent occasion. Of all days, it happens when I'm working from home. Now I got to make up the hours on the weekend...awesome. In Cap Hill, if you want to pay $10/month less for reliable internet, go with Comcast. I had them last month, thought I'd try out CascadeLink for it's marginally faster connection, but will surely be returning to Comcast. Comcast has its own problems, but at least I can rely on internet working when I need it. tldr: Do NOT sign up with the service unless you're ready for frequent surprise internet shut downs. Comcast is more reliable, cheaper, currently offering around 70 Mbps for $40/month vs. Cascades 30Mbps for $50/month

At the beginning of this year, 2025, I noticed the phone numbers were cancelled. This has happened before if our bank needed to close the account due to fraudulent activity. We would provide the update bank acct. This time, I called Accessline, now dba Intermedia, to reactivate one phone number only. We didn't need the other number. I was put through so many hoops, and different answers about what to do. Then, this company kept saying they don't own the phone number. This phone number was connected to a physical phone line until 2006 when we started working from home. The numbers were paid in full. We needed these numbers in the 'cloud' which wasn't the norm at that time. We have had this since 2006, without any issue. This time, Intermedia kept asking who owns this number. We didn't understand why this was an issue all of a sudden. In the meantime, this is causing customers not to be able to leave vm. After about four to five weeks, we were informed we could not use the phone number used since 2006, and on our website, stationary, business cards, etc. We arranged for a new phone number, although, we were informed no forwarding message could be added. What else could we do? We arranged a new phone number for VM exclusively. We could use our same PIN, but needed to add one more digit. This was done. We started sending email notices announcing this new phone number. I have called this number, and input the PIN, without hearing any messages. Then, a recording is heard saying this feature is not good (or similar). We have received several messages about this system being down for various reasons. We received a receipt for a charge. I emailed Intermedia today, and learned the step to retrieve our messages is not as simple as I was lead to believe. I hope phone calls are recorded. I remember what was said. I didn't want anything fancy. I wanted to be able to type in our PIN when the greeting begins, like before. This is when messages would play. Today, I was told I have to go through more steps in order to retrieve messages. This is too much just to listen to VM. Before, I was able to type our PIN quickly, from memory, and our VM would play. To have to go through additional steps to listen to VM is not what we originally signed up with this company for. It feels like this company does not want the Small Businesses now. I have past communication when we needed a phone number reactivated, and this never happened. I'm not sure why Intermedia has acted this way. I'm grateful we hadn't printed stationary yet. We did add this 'new' phone to our website. This can be removed. We are still left without a professional way for vm.

These phones may be suitable for home use, but they are totally not "business" worthy. I would steer clear of Accessline. We had problems from the first day with features and functions that just didn't work properly. Their customer service is less then what you would expect from a Costco affiliate. All in all this was a very negative experience and I would not recomend this company to anyone.
