Comcast consistently sucks no matter they are. I just ordered service at my new work studio. All I want was some Digital+ cable w/o any bundle deals or whatever else they offer. The service technician swung by Saturday late afternoon and for $32 he just checked that I have a cable signal in my unit and left! He didn't even bring a cable box with him. I then had to go to the local Xfinity store on Monday to pick up my gear! Strike one. Comes Monday, I went to the store to pick up my cable box. The girl brought out this GIGANTIC Motorola cable box from last century and told me good luck. When asked about the availability of the smaller cable boxes. She said that they ran out of it over the weekend and won't have any until later this week. She told me to haul my gigantic box back in to exchange for a smaller one but she can't promise if I could get the smaller box or not. Strike Two. Today, I tried to look up the number to call the store and see if they have the smaller RNG150 box back in stock. The number provided on the Comcast website went directly to the call center where an unhelpful, uneducated, and unenthusiastic CSR that sounds like a grade schooler gave me the run around for 30 minutes, and then transferred me another condescending sounding CSR who tried to sell me their DVR and Internet services for another 20 minutes. In the mean time, neither one of them could tell me how to get in touch with the local store. They also could not tell me what inventory they have in the store. I even offered to pay to have the right box shipped to me from Comcast corporate. Their response was we cannot guaranteed that you get the box that you specified. Strike Three. What kind of retarded CS is this? They clearly don't have good inventory control to see what type of equipment they have in stock in each location. This is ridiculous for the amount of money they charge each month to have service and to rent their damn cable box. I'm going to eBay to my own damn box now. EFF-YOU COMCAST! read more

XFinity/Comcast has failed to address long lag times with their equipment. That is, when searching programming or scrolling through saved shows, there is a lag between command and action that makes navigation difficult/very frustrating. A search for solutions on the internet yields answers such as reboot, or change out your dvr. Since the problems are sporadic, it seems more likely an issue on their servers which has not been addressed. Think twice about a subscription. If anyone knows of a real solution, I would be happy to hear about it. read more

Factoria location. Better than expected, although it didn't start well. Someone took my name upon entry and said I would be called when someone was free. Multiple employees were milling about looking for something to do but I waited patiently for 10 minutes or so. When I was helped they swapped my remote with no issues or charges. Comcast has a deservedly horrible reputation and I loathe the company. Have to say this particular store was pretty fast, easy and fairly friendly folks. Somewhat shocked actually, but you still pay them too much for unwanted services and channels. read more

Rep at this store was unwilling to let me to be a new customer (switching from husband's name), to get a better price/ promo. The reason, he said, was that I have the same last name as my husband, the account holder. I was never told this over the phone, and was only told that my name was never attached to our current address and that I could switch no problem. Even after telling the rep this, he was no help and basically said it was not possible. So I disconnected services with him but later came home, called CS and got the new customer discount and switched out my name to be the account holder with ease and no questions asked! It's a shame the store rep was so unwilling to work with me. FYI. We downgraded to internet only! No longer wanting to pay for bundles and cable tv that constantly increases in price over time. read more

Take this with a grain of salt, because it looked like their TV screens were down so that we couldn't see who was next in line. I'm generally a very patient and understanding person, but I was seriously pissed by the time I reached the counter for the following reasons: 1) I'd waited an entire hour for service, with no way to check where I was in line unless I waited in another line just to check how much longer it was going to be. 2) There was one employee who kept redirecting people to busier employees. I don't blame this employee, but if an employee needs to work on something and not be interrupted by customers, I highly suggest having them work in the back room because it looks like shit when that employee isn't helping another customer. 3) I signed in at the computer system and it asked if I wanted a text message when it was my turn. I said yes and put in my cell #. No text message. 4) My name was never called. I was on alert the whole time because I didn't want to miss it. The employee who helped me after I waited in their line for another 15 minutes said, "We probably already called your name," which I understood because what else can you say? But seriously? In the single hour I was there, I heard them say the exact same thing to 3 other customers. Not okay. 5) The employee who helped me was great. I got my TV box and they were nice. This location is either seriously under staffed or run too inefficiently. Comcast is fine service-wise, but they already continue charging higher and higher prices than their competitors. If you want to keep your customers, please at least work on running your stores more efficiently if you aren't already. read more

I cancelled my account 5 months ago, that lady and man there were constantly trying to talk me into staying with them, which was fine but they forgot to record my equipment return. I would avoid Xfinity internet service at all costs. I signed up for a new plan blast internet plan (200/10mbps) and specifically inquired if there would be a data cap beyond which I would be charged for data usage. I was reassured several times that there was no data cap. This turned out to be a complete lie and now I am locked into a 2 year contract with a 1TB/month data limit, which is an absolutely pathetic amount of data. read more

I have to leave this review for one person and one person only. Makayla, she goes by Kayla I believe. She was above and beyond skilled at customer service. She greeted each customer as they entered asked why they were there, and told them where they could wait. Then when I realized they were missing all the sales reps, she proceeded to help each person by herself individually. She was kind and courteous to everyone even though you could tell it was overwhelming not having the other staff available. I told her she needed a bigger desk as she was using the front entry kiosk to help everyone. She giggled and said she wasn't even meant to be doing any of this but she shrugged her shoulders and said our other staff didn't show up. Amazing person to step up even though she didn't have to. She deserves a raise and to be sitting at a desk. She was much more knowledgeable and responsible than anyone else in there. Thank you Kayla for helping me with my simple return, and all the other things you do. Comcast cable has gone so horribly downhill that it makes me angry even hearing their name. The internet is slow, and they tell you if you ask them to come out that they might charge you if the problem is on your end. I've had them out here so many times for bad internet service I can't count. And the phone, oh my god. I HATE comcast phone service. No email forwarding of vmail, and after a year and numerous calls to tech support, I still can't access Comcast online tools. it's so hopelessly broken it's pathetic. IF there was an alternative I would use it, but the ONLY alternative appears to be Century Link, which had to change its name from Quest in hopes we would forget how bad they are. Called every day for 3 days and no one could help me fix my internet box after they already sent the guy to hook it up and he not only didn't come when they said he would (between 10am-12pm he came at 8pm) but also didn't hook up my box came out checked the side of the house said looks good and left. 5 days later I got anew guy out who did fix it and said the last guy didn't do anything.. Comcast is a necessary evil in my life. I hate their customer service. I feel that almost everybody I've ever had to interact with on the phone or on the internet chat is nearly powerless to do the things I need to have done or they are simply not competent. However, with this physical office, I can actually get stuff accomplished. So for that, they get a fan. I think because I am physically in front of the employees, they actually resolve my issues. After driving over an hour in heavy traffic and waiting in line, I was told they didn't have batteries and I would need to order one online. The staff person could not have been less interested in helping me. He also told he had no idea what store I could buy a battery. If he worked for me, I would have shown him the door. Hello and this is not a good day, I have been a customer for comcast for several years and this is has been a nightmare adding cable service to my account. I lost time and money. I changed the cable box twice, waiting for a technician to come to fix an issue that is actually comcast fault. Comcast jammed cable. Your agents are not helping me and all they do is complicate things because everytime it is a different agent who have no clue and no notes are put in my account. I am very upset about this and I am bringing back the cable box and as soon as I find out a better internet provider will be droping you as well. Out shopping around. Use to work for Comcast Repair Center in Lynnwood. Loved my job. So had to check to see what was new with Comcast. Wanted to see how training has been going with the stores. Well first off walked into this great location. Walked right past that silly number check in service. I think that needs to go or someone always needs to be at front counter. Know one was there to greet me. It took over One min. Which if I was a paying customer I would have left or the product knowledge rep would have had to really get me back on their side to buy. Alex was super sweet heart! I can tell he loves his job. Have fun right, but need to be ready for any type of customers objections. I appreciate him finally greeting me after the full minute. But then I went and did a walk around. I was curious. Okay so this Comcast Cable now their selling cell service. super awesome concept. You do have to have internet Basic service to get mobile service. So... I asked him about OtterBox. Because when I worked at all my cell companies I learned about every company we sold per assesories. Example www.otterbox.com. you can contact and ask them to set up learning plans for team. I said tell me about the defender? He seemed to know the basic of the case, but I surprised him to tell him it becomes a stand and know you can't run it over with truck. They do sell $100+ you can run a truck over - not the defender tho. If you ask open ended questions with customers you learn how to sell to that customer. And if they do a lot office work then personally then I would love to prop my phone up and own a OtterBox.  Take product knowledge time daily per company take the test learn. Be excited to sell these companies PRODUCTS! Secondly, the cable side. I wanted to see what's new about the remote. Alexs knowledge on this area was great. Obv everyone has cable and knew the functions of remote. One area needs improvement... I asked Alex well what about prental controls... He was so funny and said oh I don't need that at my house. So i ended up driving the boat then he lost the captains seat after that. Reason I brought prental controls up. This store in a location where there is a ton of children. I mean he would sell the crap out of Comcast services if he can not only be knowledgeable about the sports functions, but parental controls. He will be top rep! I was ease dropping and I could hear a super star in there I'm sorry I believe it was Albert (if wrong some how contact me I'll update name) I mean. This guy matched the tone of customers voice, respectful, pretty much NORDSTROMS STYLE. Which every customer should be treated as such. Team needs to take 1 hour a day take some tips from Albert. Or needs more shadowing done. When I asked on my way out do you know what 3G means or when your data speeds throttle down after allowance? Albert was the only one that could tell me FACTS. This store seems super awesome - looks like great energy. Just need better product knowledge and they will make this store toptop shelf! Thank you boys. If or when I get service I will still recommend this location. Just work harder and find the FUN in everything you do. Store layout it's okay to much in the middle they need to change the plano for where accessories go to not be in way of walking. Maybe more wall pegs less on show floor. Also, price tags not good. When your selling items especially in Factoria location where money really not a big issue for most they don't care about prices. It looks sloppy also. To be clear - this is a review of the Comcast Xfinity service center location in Factoria NOT Comcast as a whole (a company I pretty much loathe). I went in there today to return some equipment. I was 5th in line when I arrived, but was helped within 10 minutes. They were able to cancel my old account even though I was the secondary (my address, my credit card) and I was in and out within 15 minutes. I'm happy I was able to get most everything resolved on my visit. I do find it silly that they didn't have access to the system to update my email address - I have to call tech support for that. As an Xfinity service center shouldn't you be able to do pretty much everything?! read more

Shaun told us our contract will be extended by two years at the same price, but we were charged by more than twice the price of the first two years. The ending is good since we came in again and talked to the manager, Dustin, to get the price they promised. So my getaway is that alway talking to the manager to get what they promised. read more

I wanted to cancel my service because it hadn't worked in a few months (and when I inquired right away their tech was a no show) and he tried to turn everything back on me and blame the issue on my lack of follow up. I had problems with another cell phone carrier & decided to change to Xfinity/Comcast, Since I already had great service from them with my home internet service, I looked forward to the change. I had some major problems porting my old phones over. I finally went into the store where I was warmly greeted. Everyone I encountered was friendly & genuinely wanted to help. I was lucky enough to have Mike attempt to correct my problem. He was patient, knowledgeable, personable & eventually solved my problems. He even came in on his day off to complete the change over process. My husband & I agree that Mike exemplified the best in customer service that Xfinty/Comcast offers. I think the staff here is always so helpful. I have never had any issues here before. Every time I had something go wrong with my service at home, this location of staff always fixed the problem and went the extra mile to make sure I left happy. My service has been on and off due to their customer service reps telling me to fax, then go to a center, then fax again. I've paid over 702.52 and my service never works. Run from Comcast. Not a bad location. Easy to find, near QFC and Applebees in Factoria. Small, open store - lots of seating for waiting. When you walk in you are greeted and checked in. We were first in line - in and out in less than five minutes. All we were doing was switching out equipment. Friendly staff, they seemed to have the products we needed, no wait or hassle. read more

So, I had a plan from Xfinity since november 2016, and it was 40$ a month. When it march 2017, they made us pay 67$ a month, and it wasn't even a year yet, so our contract didn't end yet. We have been talking to the customer support over the summer, (and btw, we moved to a different place about a year after), and they said that they made it higher because we moved. But the bill was in March 2017 not October 2017 that had 67$. And we have been talking to them, they said talk to the Xfinity store, the xfinity store said talk to the customer support and vice-versa. Then I was asking them why have you been doing this, and then this customer service employee, was really really rude, and he told us, than it's not true, moving makes it go to original price, but our receipt shows that it was more expensive in March than October. So he was lying, and xfinity is stealing our money. read more

I understand it depends on the time of day, but I've after normal business hours (ie. 5 o'clock when most people normally get off), this place should have been packed and it wasn't. COMCAST X-Finity has slowly and steadily turned into one of the worst and greediest monopoly's in existence. They are misleading about monthly pricing, so be sure to inquire about ALL monthly fee's, which I think they refer to as "our walk out the door" fees. You will discover 30 - 50 dollars more added into their advertised fee's for equipment rentals, taxes and more. They also advertise that they will show up on time for any scheduled appointments. If they are late, they will not charge or gift you somehow for their mistake. I have had 2 separate occasions where they never showed up. When I called to inquire and then complain, they literally turned the blame on to me. THe worst thing that Comcast has done is put people (decades long-term customers) into unasked for contract mode with as much as $175 penalty's if you cancel for any reason. If you simply want to lower you bill by reducing services and it is not on your anniversary date, you will also incur a $90 penalty fee. Until recently, one of their top advertised features, "On-Demand" promised that you could not only watch last nights programming 24 hours later, you could also catch up on past seasons at no cost. Now, they are charging us from $ .99 to $1.99 per program (not season) to watch last season's programs. Although not every program is fee based, more and more are showing up every day. My experience with Comcast tells me that sooner than later, all past season programming will likely be fee based. read more

Prefer to give positive reviews but had two of the worst customer service experiences (had to go there twice because it's the closest). The people here (Factoria) don't seem to like their jobs because they aren't friendly and never smile - except for one guy. First time I went to this Factoria store was in November (2019) to return boxes and get help with my account. The person who "helped" me never smiled, nor was friendly, and seemed like I was inconveniencing him with my issues. I left because he wasn't any help (wished I had his name) and later in the week I stopped by the Kirkland/Redmond location (I was in the area) and there was a very friendly guy there that was more than happy to help me (don't remember his name but I wrote a positive review about him on the Comcast review link). His attitude was "to make things right for customers" - which is awesome and the way it's supposed to be. I later found out from him that other customers had mentioned to him the same negative experience as myself at the Factoria store. Comcast need to re-train their folks at the Factoria location (maybe get some of the Kirkland/Redmond folks to train them) or get people who are happy about their jobs. read more

Criminals. I own my own modem and it is registered and being used but Comcast supposedly mailed me another one (why?? - If it doesn't make sense it isn't true) and are charging me$10 per month for it. I keep calling and they promise to take it off my bill only to show up every month. I have been charged $60 Plus tax to date and cannot hey anyone to take this off my bill!? Am planning on going in and will take up as many hours of customer service time as needed. And they are not authorized to use my credit card anymore!!!! read more

I'll call out as others have had that this is a review of the Xfinity store in Factoria and not the company as a whole. I couldn't be happier with my experiences at the Xfinity store in Bellevue. The customer service has been top-notch on all of my visits and I have found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. It must be exhausting to deal with the level of negativity that they receive from other users, but they are always polite and helpful with me. People, if you go in with a good attitude, your experience will be 10x better. They're there to help you. read more
