She gunned her car backwards up my driveway-- with the hatchdoor open. Yep. The open hatch caught on my open garage door and ripped it off the track. (Her car didn't fare much better.) Enter George from Sevan Locks & Doors. George answers his phone! We made an appt to have the door fixed the next day. Boris came out and fixed it! Reasonable fee and excellent work. Thank you George & Boris. I found Sevan locks & doors on the BBB website. They were the only company in this area to have an A+ rating with no complaints. They are also a member of BBB which was even more reassuring. I wish there was a BBB for FreeCycle customers...

The install team of Joel and Bent arrived as scheduled and did a very professional job on the installation. Given that this was an existing - 20 year plus house, there were the expected wiring challenges. The resulting solution is both slick and comprehensive.

We were with Northwest Security and Sound for home and small business for quite a few years. The technicians were always polite and friendly (shout out to technician Joel!). Other than billing error where they thought we owed on past bills until I sent proof of payment they were fine. Then a problem developed where the alarm would not set in our small space and NSS could not figure it out. The nature of our business is such that we absolutely cannot go without an alarm set but was told by Rick to just deactivate a zone (which would be great until someone breaks in through a door of that zone). Repeated trip charges for this same, seemingly basic problem prompted me to finally ask via email (can post if necessary) if there would be a charge to come yet again for the same problem and Rick freaked out and sent a certified letter saying they are dropping us? Seriously? That's how you treat a long time customer? And out of spite, I guess, he terminated service at our home as well. All for asking if there would be yet another trip charge for the same problem. Who wouldn't ask that question? They also couldn't figure out the cause of a repeated false alarm on a smoke detector and kept charging us for trip charges, alarm replacements, keypad replacement, and even a whole new panel and still couldn't get it resolved. Very disappointing to be treated this way. So far, so good with another local company.

They set me up with an amazing system with high quality cameras and a great app that alarms when anyone is within frame for the allotted time. When they set up my cameras they spent time making sure I knew how to use the system, and set up all the features I wanted. I was very impressed. I haven't had any issues, but they encouraged me to feel free to call with any issues or questions.

Nothing but praises for my experience with HomeStar Security…read more Originally I tried working directly with ADT and it was an absolutely nightmare of an experience. Thankfully, did a little more research and came across HomeStar Security, and it was day and night difference. Talking to Mike was great - totally understood my needs, didn't press for any features or services that I didn't want, and got me scheduled for an install appointment (upgrading existing equipment) in a short timeframe. Brent - the technician who came to the house to perform the install - was on time, friendly, efficient, and helpful. Was quoted 2 hours for the install, and finished exactly within 2 hours. Brent also gave a great walkthrough on how to use the system, and was happy to answer questions that my wife and I had. If you're considering ADT, work with these guys! Thanks so much!

Got a new ADT panel free! I just moved in to a new house and they knocked my door the second day I…read moremoved in, explained everything very clearly and patiently. The system got installed the second day after they came, and everything worked precisely and accurately. The package comes with a motion sensor, but I already have one from my old system, so they give me an extra key fob with no charge instead of the sensor. It was very nice. They also put an ADT secured sign outside my house to increase the security level more. They called me after installation, making sure everything is okay. I have some troubles using ADT pulse (the iOS app for controlling the system), and they stayed on the line helping me trouble shooting and fixed the issue. Also, got quick enough replies when I ask them questions via text msg. Very nice product and even nicer service. 5*.
