    Centurylink is evil...lol...I gave them so much money for a service that they couldn't provide me,…read more(they said I'd get 10bps ...Max I got 2.8bps for like $130 per month) because I lived in an area that was monopolized by them. Our entire community was outraged by the lack of service and price. I'm shocked that the FCC hasn't shut them down...Then...somehow, Brightspeed got involved, and it took a year for them to stop hounding me after I moved from my home and paid my bills...I couldn't get ahold of billing. I would call Centurylink to figure out why I was still having to pay, they said to call Brightspeed, so I would call Brightspeed and I would be told I had no account to pay...but they continued to bill me and add late fees, and I was paid up! My credit score dropped during this time as well (for their mistake!)...Infuriating...I was getting phone calls 2-3x for per day for a year from collections...the only thing that made them stop was I finally said..."Okay...you all say you will escalate this...you've been saying this for a year, but I continue to get calls. So while I'm on the phone with you, I'm letting you know that I just hit send on my complaint to the FCC". The gal on the phone said, "No, please do not contact the FCC". I said, "Too late." Within a week, I received information from the FCC that Brightspeed would write them a letter explaining how they solved my problem." Then, bing-bang-boom...my problem was solved. the phone calls and the harassment finally stopped. Thank you FCC for protecting the consumer from companies like this! I wish I had $10k for every harassing phone from them...It was a headache and a frustration every day of my life for a year.

    They over charged me for 5 moths, they carged me for two phones and only one was not in use. It was…read morefroze and even the employess in waynesboro could fix it. I told them in December of 2025 to turn it off, again in January ---------------to April of 2026. Each month I called I promised they would have it disconnected. It was a dead phone and it could not be fixed. So around April the 3rd I told them AGAIN, DISCONNECT MY CELL, even though I paid them again and it was not due until April 23, I told them to disconnect my other cell also. I di not need their business. What a rip off. From December 2025 to April I was paying for two phones and only one worked. I feel like they just stole $540.00 from me but they don't care . After 25 or 30 years of being a loyal customer, they don't care.

    Called Verizon repeatedly for an overcharge on my phone I kept being told would be removed. Finally…read morewas told to go in person to have this resolved . Waited well over an hour /hour and a half after being told I was "second in line" at time of check in. The people at the store were kind and doing their best so this review is not on them by any means/I know they can only do so much and at least they helped connect me with Verizon and even got on the phone to explain the overcharge I kept seeing/but lady on the Verizon end was a very rude person- finally admitted we were being overcharged and took off the fee. Not apologetic just rude. I can't wait to switch carriers *edit to add that when I came home I decided to check into my account and see if this was indeed corrected and it still was not! I had to get into the chat and threaten I would file a complaint and magically it finally was corrected and I was credit back the overcharge. Lady I spoke to on the customer service line for Verizon was "Sky" who was rude and said she would Make the correction and still did not. Disappointing.

I had no idea how to fix it, and like many people, my PC is my work, is my PC. When I called, not only did I get a live person, but a friendly person, someone who felt my panic, and told me exactly what to do. When I arrived 20 minutes later, my computer was out of the bag, plugged in and being diagnosed before I could even finish explaining what had happened. And rather than sell me things I didn't need, I got advice to scrap the computer and upgrade. No money was to be made with that advice-and I was hooked. Marty's infectious excitement about computers, how they work and what vexes them is awesome. I found myself wanting to know more than I already did. In the end, I scared up an old PC and brought it back in to have the old hard drive copied over, clean up and optimized. It was all done in record time, by local guys who know their stuff...isn't that what we all say we really want in good service? There is no way I would go anywhere else. And when I buy my next laptop, I won't take it out of the box until I bring it to these guys to tweak. QuickFix is the kind of place you hope exists. There's loads of free parking, their fees are upfront and simple, and their disposition is straight-forward and congenial, without an air of making you feel like a loser for mistakes you might have made.
