I run a business based out of Charlottesville with 5 satellite offices throughout Virginia. I also own a local restaurant in town. I am very mobile and basically run my business from my laptop. What I love about QuickFix is that, unlike other tech companies I've used, they truly listen to what I want and they get it done. They are not a bunch of geeks and they are not a bunch of salesmen. They are honest folk. From time to time they tell me how I can be more efficient and how I can improve. I feel no pressure from them. Almost always, what they suggest is exactly what I should do. When it isn't, I tell them and it's no problem. We pay them to maintain and backup all of our stuff in our different locations as well as the POS system in the restaurant... it's worth it. If our employees have any issues, they don't need to ask me for approval to call, they just call. We don't get charged anything if there is a problem. The name "Quick Fix Computers" is an understatement. It should be named "Instant Fix- right the first time" computer company. Quick Fix Computers recovered the data on two old computers of mine is less than a week. I had taken these computers to a big box store that pomised success after I bought a replacement desk top computer from them, After several weeks of waiting and follow ups by me, the recoveries were a failure. They still charged me for trying, The big box store suggested sending the hard drives to a compay out ot state which would have cost more than $2,000 each. Instead, Quick Fix recovered the data at a price less than what I was charged at that big box store for the failed service, I have now suggested that my employer use Quick Fix. Lessons learned: Local family owned businesses provide services that are untouchable by the big chains or big box stores. Think twice about using these large companies; I know I will from now on! read more

I found Quick Fix on Google and chose them based on their 5-star ratings. I called to ask some questions and was impressed by the amount of service I received over the phone from Billy. Nothing like the, "we can't tell till you bring it in" response I'd gotten from the competition. I took my laptop in and spoke to Brad who was as pleasant to deal with as Billy had been. I don't know a lot about computers but Billy and Brad explained the process in a way that didn't make me feel ignorant. I ended up having my laptop fixed and purchasing another. I have been with Bryant as my fixer since before he started Quick Fix. I have always been happy with their service. I have had help in buying a new computer, transferring data from one computer to another, creating icons etc. As a computer illiterate I need a lot of help. One of the best features is that they have me on remote so I can get them to meet with me over the phone & fix the problems I encounter as I watch. I don't have to lug my computer in. This place is a life-saver. Was having issues with my guest WiFi network and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to setup my Google Chromecast (it was being finicky). I call them on a SATURDAY morning and they schedule me an appointment for that afternoon. I get on the phone with one of their techs who squared me away in 30 minutes. I have been dealing with Quick Fix for years. They fix my computer & my i-pads. i have an agreement with them so that I don't have to go in but they can remote me & fix my computer while I wait on the phone & we can discuss things as we go along. I mostly deal with Kreela who is very knowledgeable & gets things done. I have never been unhappy with the service I have received there. These guys really know their stuff!! They built me a partitioned hard drive when I needed to still use XP but 7 was in the near future. They figured out how to make my Dragon work with voice files that I transcribe.
