I had the pleasure of ending up at a party that used this food truck for their menu. This is soul food that warms and delights said soul. Best fried chicken I've ever had, collard greens that made my taste buds livid that I hadn't given them this treat before, and the most amazing brussels sprouts I've had to date ( and it's one of my favorite veggies, believe it or not) Find them. Eat everything. Enjoy the Winnebago, and the nice folks in it making those unbelievably delicious noms. Nice work, guys. My mouth is your biggest fan. Watch for fanmail.

Best fries ever. And I am picky about my fries!

Had my first Wyn65 experience at the Pride festival this weekend. My friend ordered the hot chicken sandwich and french fries. Lucky for me, she shared the fries. Frying potatoes in duck fat and seasoning with rosemary is the best idea anyone has probably ever had. The sandwich was pretty good too- I only tried a bite but my friend said it was worth the $11 even after they forgot her order for a while. The Lyn65 team made an awesome choice with this food truck and I can't wait to try more of its offerings in the future!

Lyn 65's food truck does not disappoint. They always have fried chicken, their killer cheeseburger and usually some other specials/sides. I find their prices very reasonable and their portions on the larger side. The service was quick and friendly. On my most recent visit I tried the bologna benedict because nearly every other option was sold out. The scratch made bologna tasted more like salami to me than bologna. Not necessarily a bad thing just different. The hollandaise was a little thin and could use a little more seasoning. The asparagus was also a little over cooked. I'm assuming they sousvided the eggs which were perfect. Overall this dish was still far superior than a lot of restaurants in town. I highly recommend checking them out on Sundays at the Kingfield farmers market or wherever else they may be.

Chicken was a bit bloody - per the crew it was something to do with it being a young chicken and bone marrow.

Had the food truck a little while earlier and the menu options looked great. Ordered 2 pieces of friend chicken with two sides. It all tasted great but upon taking a bite of the second piece there was some oozing red juice/blood(?). I tried to find a phone number so that I didn't have to talk to them with other waiting customers but since there wasn't one, I took it back out and tried to discreetly let the crew know. They stated it was because it was a young chicken, that this part was the bone marrow and that it was totally normal. They offered to replace the piece but I politely declined. I don't have much experience making fried chicken but it just didn't look right to me, or my coworkers. They offered to replace it and their sides (mac and cheese and baked beans) were good, so two stars... but there was no admission or apology.

a sandwich and a glass of beer

That bologna sandwich changed my life. Finally bologna is getting the respect it deserves.

    Cool truck!

Service is friendly and quick, they work as a team so requests get taken care of quickly. Now for the food, for brunch you get a complimentary bowl of mini donuts. We started with the cheese curds to share and they were so good. Delicate batter, with a side of a sweet jam/ketchup and ranch. These were eaten up fast. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower which was nicely battered, firm cauliflower, and a good amount of buffalo sauce. I ordered the chicken wraps. These were nice and refreshing. Comes with 3 skewers of chicken, a peanut dressing, fresh Bibb lettuce, basil, mint, cucumber, and sliced radish. My husband had the huevos rancheros which he liked as well. I saw other tables get a mimosa flight which looked fun if we had a larger group. Highly recommend this place. Street parking only with a nearby pay lot.

I used to come here frequently as they had the best turkey burger in the city. They've since adjusted their menu to the point where everything tastes like it's been drenched in salt. Expect to be paying upwards of 20 dollars for a mid-at-best burger and even more if you dare to get cheese curds or sweet potato fries. Very sad change for a place I once went to weekly. The service is overall great, never had a bad experience interacting with staff. The redesign also looks very nice with a shaded seating area outside. I just wish the food quality matched the rest of the experience.

Wood + Paddle is located inside of the Royal, it's their hotel restaurant. On my first night in Minneapolis, I'd arrived to the hotel for check-in around dinner time. Not sure where to go and tired from the flight, I headed down to the lobby and walked over. When I asked if I could get a table for 1, she asked me if I would be comfortable with eating at the bar. It was a Sunday night, so I think she wanted to reserve tables for parties of two or more. I was fine with it, but I noticed there were quite a few empty tables. A few days later, I had lunch with a colleague here. We got seated at a table, and the service was really good. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we kept our lunch within our time requirements so we could get back to the conference without issue. The food was really good. I tried to order or sample local or MN specialties during my trip. Below are the menu items that I tried: - Bison Burger with Fries - State Fair Cheese Curds (w/ house made, smoked ketchup) - Pork Chop (w/ a Norwegian inspired sauce) - Habanero Wings

The ambiance was some of the best I have ever seen at a restaurant, as it was an old bank, there are some spots that are from the original building. It was so open and decorated beautifully. Despite being one open large room, the noise level was fine!! As it was my birthday, they greated me with a birthday card signed by the staff and I got a complimentary dessert. The food was fabulous; we had the chopped salad for an appetizer with their delicious pretzel bread and whipped butter. For dinner we had the mac and cheese, the mushrooms and the porterhouse steak. The steak will live in my dreams it was cooked to perfection wiith a chimichurri sauce to dip it in. The only thing I could maybe call not a re-order would be the mac, I think I wished I got the mashed potatoes but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was great, our wine and water glasses stayed full and they cleared our table off so fast. Definitely will be back!

Great food, good vibes, and excellent service, but not as special as I had hoped. I brought a client here and we sat at the chefs counter. We enjoyed a range of starters and each had our own main. My biggest sadness is that the halibut was way over salted. The bison tartare was pretty good, and the tomato salad was great. My client loved her pasta. We were both a little disappointed in the squash blossoms special which really felt like a miss (so many great things to do with these... The preparation they chose was weird). The cocktails and wine were excellent and our server was lovely. The view of the kitchen was really fun. Just not as thoughtful overall as I would expect for the amazing reviews I had heard from others.

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26. She's going to cost you return business if she doesn't learn how to be a host and be happy serving people.
