a sandwich with cheese and greens
    Julianne Z.

Had the grilled cheese here and it was too much to handle! The thick toasted bread was oily and crisp on the outside, and the three kinds of cheese were melted to an ooey gooey delicousness. What really gets me is the honey butter they use which just makes it such a rich sandwich! Because the sandwich is so rich, they serve it with a side of arugula and apple slices, and that sweetness from the honey was balanced out well by the bitterness of the arugula. Def. want to come back for this again!

The fresh cilantro on this sandwich puts it in the "out of this world-amazing!" category

We tried the jam and rum drinks and they were delicious. I ordered a lemon first and then the pear. The lemon was much more flavorful, but both were really good. We tried the elote dish, which was really unique flavors but I enjoyed it! The burgers had a mix up and we received the wrong one at first, but our server was quick to correct the problem and very kind about the whole interaction. Normally, it would be worth knocking a star, but her kindness went really far that night! And I didn't mind waiting. I don't make my way out to this area very often, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying again another time!

The Luna Burger was standard, and the fries were crispy and salted well (also another generous portion). The fudgy brownie was awesome and I loved the broiled marshmallow fluff on top. For $9 you can get a pour of sparkling wine that has already been opened. Service was friendly, but it was a little odd because our plates were never cleared, so by the end of the meal space was a little tight since there were so many plates on our table. There is free parking in the lot behind the building, in addition to street parking.

The service was appropriately lowkey and prompt. Their food might seem a bit expensive, but their portions are generous. The fries were reminiscent of McDonald's fries in the best way, just fresher and crispier! We tried the Parlour burger and the chicken sandwich, both of which were simple but delicious.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26. She's going to cost you return business if she doesn't learn how to be a host and be happy serving people.

We opted for the wine pairing and I'm so glad we did. The wines complemented the food perfectly - but all would have been lovely on their own. SERVICE We felt so well taken care of our entire time there. The staff run like an extremely well-oiled machine, all while maintaining a calm and pleasant environment. I noticed and appreciated many of the small details - for example, one of the hosts made sure to revert to they/them pronouns when referring to guests. The courses and wines were perfectly timed out. We never waited too long for either, but at the same time the meal did not seem rushed. AMBIANCE It is a small and intimate space without seeming too cramped. It was cool being able to see the dishes being plated right in front of you, but it wasn't distracting. Yes, the meal is pricey. But in my opinion, this is a one of a kind experience that you cannot get anywhere else in the city and it's well worth it for a special experience that I would be happy to recommend to anyone.

We did the wine pairing with our 10 course experience and it was the BEST overall dining experience we have ever had anywhere! They only have 2 seatings an evening but even each seating is staggered so it's like you are having your own private tasting for your party. Each course was better than the previous course and every course was INCREDIBLE with outstanding flavors that were explained in great detail each time! It was such a memorable experience from the first course to the last course that you never wanted it to end. You also get the entire menu including the wine pairing in a nice note before you leave. It includes your various Sous Chefs and service directors you had the entire evening!
