Mr. Momo was one of the vendors at the Vegan Social on Roosevelt Row this past Saturday. My friend was looking forward to trying their veggie momos (dumplings) as she had heard great things about them. I tried one with a mix of the coconut curry (mild) and garlic chili (hot) sauces. Ooh it was delicious! Soft and flavorful with the coconut and spicy tastes combining nicely. I decided to take some samosas to go and they were very yummy as well. I would love to get their frozen momos next time to take home and enjoy. I tried the veggie ones but they also have chicken and lamb. My friend bought a jar of their coconut curry sauce. Mr MoMo's is how we were introduced to this fabulous food truck a year ago. We have purchased twice now from the Uptown Farmer's Market and never disappointed! We get the frozen chicken momo's with two jars of the coconut curry sauce. I make them with basmati rice and spinach. Makes for an epic dinner! If you see Mr. Momo at a food festival or farmer's market you MUST get some dumplings!! Nepali dumplings are super good! Each order times with 8 pieces. The chicken and vegetables are both amazing! We got one of each! Sauce was hard to choose since they all looked good, but we ended up choosing coconut and garlic chili. Garlic chili had a small kick and the coconut was creamy! What a treat to be served by Chef Subash Yadav himself! Check out their website to know where they are! We caught them at the Uptown farmers market. It was awesome to get his recommendations. Definitely check out their full menu and stop by early! We got the vegetarian momo and wanted to get steamed but we got great recommendations from the Chef to switch out to fried with the garlic sauce. Boy were we glad we listened to his suggestions! Let me start by telling you how grateful I am for a MoMo truck in Phoenix the only way I could get them were in the Bay Area. Momos for the uninitiated are nothing but South Asian dumplings served with in a mild/spicy sauce. I had no idea what to expect from a Nepali food truck, but I didn't expect the delicious dumplings I got, smothered in a tomato-ey sauce and sprinkled with cilantro. Delicate, twisted steamed dough pockets filled with diced chicken and spices, these octuplets had just enough firmness to hold together until I bit into them, then they melted in my mouth and released all their flavorful goodness. I'm quite disappointed by the service I received. I was very excited to find out that there's a momo truck in Arizona and was eager to try it. It was my first time trying at Everest MoMo food truck, got myself to-go boxes of momos. I ordered Veg. After I went home to find out it was not veg, instead, they gave me meat momos. Moreover, I felt a difference in treatment with other customers and me while I was there (not sure why). I was made to wait longer than required in the heat only to find out that my order was ready long back and have been sitting for quite a while to be handed over. That was such an irresponsible attitude towards the customer. I'm usually not the one to write a negative review, I felt terrible that I had to eat one momo of meat to find out its not veg, also I paid money for nothing. We tried this truck at the farmers market and were highly impressed. The food was filling without that full feeling at the end. I was pleasantly full, good portions and right price. The gentleman that took our order was prompt and attentive letting us know the butternut squash takes a little bit longer to cook. I love this place so much I have actually driven 30 miles to catch their food truck in Mesa on the weekend! I've tried the very first time this type of kitchen. The truck came to my apartment complex and I absolutely enjoyed a couple of dishes. Vegetable samosa was very fresh and crispy with two types of spicy sauces. The red sauce was too spicy for my taste, but the green one was spicy enough. Best Chilli momos ever tasted. little overpriced though

I found this food truck last week at MetroCenter. My family and I went to see a movie and came to the small food truck even in front of the mall. It was about to close so not alot of the trucks were there or open..I stumbled upon this truck and was like "I need this food" lol without even ever eating from this truck. I walked up and the guy said they were out of everything and only had chicken tikka left and lucky for me...thats exactly what I wanted. So I ordered my plate. It was $9.75 which was reasonable maybe a little much, but its ok. They gave me my food in this cute box. The portion was a very good size. The white rice was cooked thoroughly and the chicken tikka was to die for. The pieces of chicken were huge and plenty..not skimpy. The spices and flavors were so good together. The temperature was perfect I wasn't burning my mouth trying to eat. I was in heaven! My kids and hubby didnt want any so I ate it all by myself and had no regrets. :) I recommend the chicken tikka and I can wait to find this truck again and try other menu options. read more
