    Red curry and basil chicken
    Amanda T.

Everything we tried was bursting with fresh ingredients and bold flavor. It's a small place, but arriving right at opening meant no wait, and even quicker service. Prices are super reasonable, which makes doubling down on entrées a no-brainer. Order two, eat one, and enjoy the other as tomorrow's leftovers. We went all in: fried rice, pad Thai, red curry, and hot basil chicken.....and loved every bite.

I had dinner at Wyckoff Thai on a Monday night. Luckily, my party had a reservation because the place is pretty small and it was packed. We were seated right away and our orders were taken pretty quickly. To start we had somtum (papaya salad) and spring rolls. Both came out rather quickly and they were pretty good. I usually like a little more heat in my papaya salad but I won't hold that against them. It still tasted fresh and good. The spring rolls were your standard spring rolls with the sauce on the side, solid but nothing extraordinary. My girlfriend ordered Tamarind Duck and she seemed to really enjoy it. She finished the whole plate and she rarely finishes her food. It must've been good. I went with the Pad Kee Mao and opted for chicken as the protein. I like that they offer several different types of proteins for most of their dishes. You can basically get whatever you want in any noodle or curry dish. I enjoyed my Pad Kee Mao. The noodles were cooked perfectly and there was a generous amount of chicken. Again, I prefer having this dish a little more spicy but it was still very flavorful. Next time I'll probably request that they up the heat a bit. To finish things off we had mango sticky rice. It was delicious. I feel like this dish is kind of hard to mess up, but Wyckoff Thai nailed it. Service was very attentive. They did a great job of keeping my water cup filled (and I drink a lot of water). They checked in on us enough without it getting annoying. Again, the restaurant is small but it's clean and looks nice. I'd come back here.

Some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time. Several of my relatives order from here quite a bit and thankfully this evening when we were getting together I was able to join in on the fun. We split a couple of appetizers including the chive cakes, dumplings and crab raccoon. All were delicious. For our dinners we ordered two ducks, one with tamarind and one with spicy sauce, as well as the salmon in a green curry and shrimp and calamari in a green curry. Side of fried rice with added tofu. All the portions were absolutely huge, so even though there was a lot of splitting amongst us there were plenty of leftovers. The duck was super crispy and tender, the salmon was flaky and wow, super spicy. The calamari and shrimp were not overcooked and chewy. It didn't look from the outside like there was much of an indoor seating area but totally fine as this will be my new takeout Thai staple.

They are so good I just keep going back! Today we had the fried rice with crispy duck which was delicious duck was crispy and flavorful. i got the spicy eggplant with chicken and steamed rice which is sweet, spicy and savory all at once. Their curry puffs are light and flavorful and their wonton soup has a homey feel to it. Washed down with their butterfly pea lemonade its a culinary delight! The waiters are the best. Service is on point always!

It's a small restaurant without much decoration and flair. But what it lacks in decoration, it makes up in with good food. I ordered the thai iced tea which was nice and sweet. We ordered the Tom kha ga soup. It had a very lemongrass taste with a nice spice kick. The pad thai was made well and very traditional. It was a decent portion size too. The prices were fair. The red curry was good and on point too. It's a nice no frill Thai restaurant and I was shocked at how many take out orders that were coming through all night! The service was also kind and friendly.

The food is very very good. It's a small BYOB. Avoid sitting near the door tables as it gets quite chilly. Highly recommended.

Do I have to make a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night?

    Yes, it's highly recommended

    Is this a BYOB?

Yes! And there is a pretty good liquor store across the street (next to CVS). My wife and I always bring a bottle of wine in with us when we go!

It's one of those spots you could easily drive right past if you weren't looking for it. Almost looks like a house from the outside, but inside it's a cozy, welcoming vibe. We went during lunch and took advantage of their $12.95 specials--great value. I had the basil fried rice with pork, which had a nice level of spice--flavorful and delicious without being overpowering. It came with a spring roll and a lemon tea, which was perfect--not overly sweet. My wife ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp--loaded with peppers and onions, super flavorful, and cooked just right. She paired it with a Thai iced tea, which was also on point. Food came out quickly, served hot, and the presentation was clean. Nice little touch with the cucumbers served alongside the fried rice. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to--next time for dinner. They reopen at 4:30, and I've got my eye on those Bangkok wings. Owner was mad cool too.

My daughter had the beef short rib ramen, and I had the Khao Soi Ramen with short rib. They give so much tender short rib. I didn't even care about the meat because the broth was one of the most delicious curries I've ever had. They checked on spice levels to make sure I'd enjoy (I have an insane love for heat) and gave us their homemade chilli oil and powder on the side. We also had a Thai iced tea, which was perfect because it was balanced rather than sickeningly sweet. Service was friendly and quick. We ate in the store, which has a few tables. They were doing a bustling takeout, but it wasn't noisy and it is nicely decorated and clean. Will be ordering again and again and again. I already ate some of my leftovers. Highly recommend.

Catch up with friends or enjoy a lowkey dinner without feeling rushed or overly formal Also love that this spot is BYOB. I paired my meal with a Thai iced tea -- flavorful and refreshing, just not overly sweet (which some people might actually prefer). Appetizers: The curry puffs were delicious -- flaky, flavorful, but I definitely wished there were more than three. Chicken satay was well executed, but the honey ribs completely stole the spotlight. Super tender, flavorful, and easily the must-order on the starter list. Entrees: We ordered the deep fried filet snapper (with white rice) and the chicken Khao Soi. The Khao Soi was the standout of the night -- perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, coconut curry broth that was easily 10/10. The snapper was fried beautifully, and the mixed vegetables tasted incredibly fresh and bright -- almost ceviche-like in flavor. Portions were satisfying enough that I had zero room for dessert, but this is absolutely a spot I'd come back to explore more of the menu.

I grew up spoiled off of the well-rounded juggernaut named Jumbo of Airmont who did EVERYTHING well. Iykyk sista. Red Bowl couldn't even fry their rice. Could never chicken their broccoli. Wouldn't dare to lace their lo mein. Which is a shame, because sometimes you want a dynamic dinner of all the above: Chinese and sushi and thai but oh my the sharks out of the water here.
