    Steamed pork dumplings

8/08/25 We've been here several times now and the food is always good at TCB and definitely our favorite Thai restaurant. On this visit, my lovely wife and I shared the "Shrimp in a blanket," Steamed pork dumplings and the calamari appetizers, all fantastic! I had my favorite duck curry (SO good if you like Thai curry) and my wife enjoyed the duck tamarind Service is always friendly and accommodating... and it is a BYO.

We went around weekend noon for lunch. It wasn't too busy when we walked in, got a table right away. The restaurant had pleasant interior, nice decorations all around. Of course I started with the tom yum soup. It was good quality. Then we had the thai corner sampler that had 4 items with 4 different sauces. The samplers had basic taste. For entree had the pad thai. It was also fine for me. The thai iced tea wasn't that good, it was too watery. We had a good service. The dishes came out within short time. Overall it was decent lunch for our family, but it fell short in expectation compared to some of the other Thai places we have been to.

Wonderful local Thai food at the area. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Food takes a little time to come out but it's definitely good. They get a lot of takeout orders so that's always a good sign that food is good here. Nice decoration on the wall. I would say it's more a small-medium dining area. Make a reservation if you have a big group. The appetizer sampler is incredible. I love to try all the appetizers in small amount. The flavor and sauce are just right for each other. Tum Yum Soup is strong. Lemony and spicy! My husband loves it. Massaman curry with chicken is rich. It comes with potatoes and onions. Veggies are soft. Quite a lot chicken in there. Overall a solid spot for a meal.

Bao buns - 3 pieces (braised pork belly, pickled carrot, pickled daikon, shredded cabbage, and crushed peanuts)

Wayne, NJ - maybe it was an off night or we should've ordered different dishes, but everything we had was just fine. Not bad by any means, just average and unremarkable. The pork belly bao buns were a bit soggy on the bottom. The only thing I remembered about the pad Thai was that it was somewhat mushy rather than springy and I wasn't impressed with the flavor. The chicken red curry had a thick sauce (I usually only complain about watery sauces), and an ordinary taste profile, neither rich nor distinctive. And the eggplant basil with chicken, which I emphatically asked for "super extra Thai spicy," barely tingled, and was mild even by "American spicy" standards. The dish is pretty tasty but the eggplant itself was completely unseasoned/unsalted and bland, and slightly bitter, although the pieces are agreeably chunky. The accompanying bowls of rice are dainty, so we ordered an extra, for which we were charged $3, which is exorbitant for a small bowl of rice. I was expecting better based on the ratings, but what can I say, the food and service were both as inoffensive as they were unexceptional.

Just ordered Thai food for the first time in my life tonight, I'm surprised I've missed out on it for so long. I love curries so I ended up ordering the red curry with chicken, which was perfectly spiced and the bamboo shoots were a great addition of flavor and texture to the meal. I also got bow buns without peanuts (I do not like peanuts in any way which is why I haven't had Thai yet) and it really was a super awesome decision to get it because it tasted so good! this place definitely opened up my horizons.

Possibly the best thai restaurant in pompton lakes. Very friendly staff who are helpful with explaining the dishes and selecting your heat preferences. My son had their tamarind crispy duck which was flavorful and fried to crisp perfection. I had drunken noodle with both chicken and shrimp as my protein. It was excellent, I enjoyed the umami taste and was happy there wasn't a sweet taste to the drunken noodle. Their mango sticky rice is a must try!

The location is nice with good parking. Loved the ambiance with plants and clean area. The service was good. To start off we ordered pork belly and without the sauce that's served on the side this wouldn't be such a great dish. We incorporated both sauces and the plate was phenomenal. Alone, the pork belly did not have any flavor. Now moving onto the entrées, we ordered pineapple rice with pork. The flavor was there however, the rice was slightly undercooked and wish it had more of a crisp as fried rice should instead of a wet feeling. The Pad Thai was also okay with flavor .The presentation of the dishes were good. Overall, it was a OK experience

From start to finish we had a great time!! Love places with convenient parking and inviting decor. Staff was polite and friendly and plus food was just above and beyond! We got thai tea and thai coffee - Drinks were delicious. Their Summer Roll appetizers got us going and the entrees such as their Pad Thai and my favorite, Basil Crispy Pork Belly left us really satisfied! I really wanted to try their mango sticky rice but chose to go for their Bi Co Moi first which is also black sticky rice with coconut milk and topped with coconut ice cream! It was soooo good! im happy with all the food we ordered for this visit! There's a lot more in the menu and we hope to try them again soon!

Now that winter is upon us check out some of the noodle soup options at Thai Corner Bistro. Great options that you will not find at any other Thai restaurant in the area.

Picked up some bang bang fried rice and a Thai iced tea and it did not disappoint! The rice had the perfect spice level to it and the portion size was decent for a quick lunch. The Thai iced tea was sweeter by comparison to others I've tried but I love sweets in general so I saw it as a treat either way. The location is literally at the corner but definitely gives off first date vibes. Will return!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had…read more Let me start by saying this is no longer a BYOB restaurant, despite giving every impression that it still is. There is no clear notice that they now have a liquor license, yet they charge a $10 corkage fee per bottle--or require one drink per person to waive the fee. This feels misleading from the start. After a long and frustrating discussion with our waitress--who couldn't clearly explain the policy--a man (who never identified himself as a manager or in any official role) came over. Even after more back-and-forth, the policy remained unclear until we were told definitively: one drink per person to waive the cork fee. By that point, we had already purchased a drink. We decided to stay, as we've dined here many times before without issues. Unfortunately, things only got worse. We specifically asked for our appetizers and entrees to be timed separately. Instead, our main courses arrived while we were still halfway through our appetizers. Then came the biggest issue: the beef teriyaki. The meat was inedible--extremely undercooked, with a bloody taste and raw interior. We immediately stopped eating and called the waitress over. She told us, quite confidently, that it was filet mignon. It absolutely was not. We asked to speak again with the same gentleman. When questioned, he immediately contradicted her and said it was not filet mignon--but then admitted he didn't know what cut of meat it actually was. He went to the kitchen and came back still unable to identify it, only saying it was "beef." At that point, offering us ice cream as compensation felt almost insulting. We asked for the dish to be removed from the bill. Instead, the waitress returned with three cups of vanilla ice cream--and the charge for the dish was still on the bill. We paid and left, including a 20% tip for the waitress, as the issues seemed more systemic than entirely her fault. Be advised: this is not a BYOB restaurant anymore, and based on this experience, I would strongly recommend proceeding with caution.
