So happy to find a really good Thai spot in the area! A few weeks ago, our team at work ordered lunch from Thai Cookery to bring back to the office. We placed the order from their website (which uses Beyond Menu fyi). Here's what we ordered: - Pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp - Pad Thai with chicken - Massaman curry with tofu and egg (this was me - it was so good and hit the spot!) - Chive dumpling appetizer to share (the sauce that goes with it really makes the app) - Thai iced teas I drove over to pick up. There is both street parking and a few spots in the private lot in the back of the restaurant. It's a small space, but there are a few tables if you wanted to have a casual meal solo or with another person. The person behind the register was friendly to everyone inside the eatery. He had packed our order and offered napkins and a cup holder. There's a welcoming vibe when you go there. The food was great and I would recommend Thai Cookery if you're in the mood for really good Thai food.

Great lunch spot with very good pad Thai. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual place with quick friendly service.

I have been looking for a new Thai food spot recently as the others have been to were just okay. Thai Cookery is now my new favorite! We had ordered ahead online and it was ready on time. We ordered a Pad See Ew, basil chicken, pork belly rice bowl, and Thai fried rice. Everything was delicious and freshly made! So great we ordered there again the following week!

I really love this place! The restaurant is small and clean. Nothing fancy but it's definitely cute! The server was nice and pleasant and took care of my requests if I had any The food is the star here. I'm totally in love with their khao soi pork belly ramen. It's SO delicious! The broth is a coconut-curry soup with so it's sweet with some heat (that you can add more with their spices they have for you). The big pieces of pork belly are tender and flavorful. There's a lot of nicely cooked ramen noodles and the crispy ones plus a beautiful soft-boiled egg! I would love to try more of their menu but I keep coming back to this soup because it's just perfect!

Food was very good and actually a bit unique as far as flavor of the curries and papaya salad was concerned. All curries we tried was yummy. The decore is pretty basic but tge walls are cool. They rally to get more sitting spaces when the place gets more crowded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a recommended dining place!

Ordered through Doordash. Everything well packed. I will likely order from them again. I wish the menu would specify which items are vegetarian; it was a guessing game. Yummy fried veggie spring rolls with sweet sauce. 5 small pieces. Interesting salad with hard boiled egg and tofu. Peanut dressing has a kick to it. Steamed vegetables perfect. Carrots, wilted greens such as kale, bok choy. Not the vegetables I was expecting; I was pleasantly surprised. Will order this again.

This is an excellent spot. Started with Bangkok wings, a meticulously fried offering with a unique flavor configuration. Pork belly Khao soi was great, with a coconut curry that finds the ideal spice balance. The young waiter brilliantly described the choices and had a knack for understanding the audience, and also knew a lot about regional Thai foods and the New York/New Jersey Thai cuisine landscape.

First time here. Will definitely be back!!! We ordered three things for take out. Short rib ramen, Khao Sok shrimp ramen and Salmon rice bowl. We placed the order, got there in about 15-20 minutes and food was ready for picking up. Upon getting home, everything was carefully packed and soup was in separate containers so the ramen stays firm until I'm ready to eat. Yeah!!! Service on the phone was friendly and quick. The chef came out when I waved at the restaurant, and we chatted a little bit. Super friendly and the inside is tidy and cozy and can easily fit about 6-8 people comfortably for indoor dining. We will definitely be coming back. Great Thai food! Highly recommend!

For lunch, I tried the shoyu ramen with a soft boiled egg and side of spicy oil. The broth was light and flavorful. The chashu was very tender and seared nicely. The shoyu came with straight noodles instead of wavy, but it was still good. The bowl had menma, as well as red and green onions. I enjoyed the bowl so much, we went back for dinner the same day. For dinner, I tried the shio ramen, which was basically the same thing, but with a sea salt tare instead of soy sauce. I also got wavy noodles this time and I definitely prefer the wavy noodles. Once again, it came with red and green onion, which i think is a bit overpowering. I would get just green onion next time. The family/couple sets seem to be a great deal. I would definitely return.

The Mrs. (who is the real connoisseur when it comes to ramen, I'm just a wannabe) thought the portion was a bit on the 'wimpy' side (for the price) but I was content. Speaking of the food, let's get into it. Mango Avocado Roll: Refreshing and Delicious. This was a great appetizer to my poke bowl. Oasis Poke Bowl: This was deliciously refreshing as well, however it doesn't come with any sauce. I asked for a side of teriyaki which made everything better; elevated the entire bowl. Surf N Turf: I will order this moving forward as my go-to roll. The beef was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the salmon. This roll itself filled me up, I thought I was going to order something else but I was done after that. Salmon and Shrimp Teriyaki: My partner gets this each time and I am always so excited to throw my fork into his plate. The teriyaki sauce here is so tasty, I want to put it on everything! The salmon and shrimp are also cooked super well, no chewiness here. Great amount of crisp on the salmon, the way it slides onto the fork is beautiful to watch. Vegetable Gyoza: The star of the show!! Best appetizer they have truly. I was so sad when there was no more. But thankful to have been able to experience such a great starter. Sweet Potato Roll: (Not pictured) The roll was ok, I liked it but felt like it was missing something. Maybe I would have liked it if it was Korean sweet potatoes. I won't order again because the menu is so extensive I can't limit myself to something I thought was ok. (4/5) Overall, Shokudo is a fantastic place to eat. It's truly an experience.
